We are long-time travelers and Venice Canals locals. We love sharing lots of great stories and sites to check out on the canals as well as around the area.
The Venice Canals are a unique historical and architectural wonder best experienced on the water, even better if you catch the fun at sunset. By renting your own canoe, you will have the freedom to explore and marvel at the bridges, birds, fish and houses along these 1900s waterways at your own pace. Take your time (and tons of photos) as unwind amongst the colors and creatures. Surprise your significant other, spouse, friend or family members with something new.

- bnh33100Just wow!!I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I absolutely loved it! My partner and I have lived in Los Angeles for most of our lives but I had no idea that the canals even existed. It was so cool to experience canoeing on the canals and also hear a bunch of history about Venice and Los Angeles in general. Also these are probably some of my favorite pictures of all time!!!

Very pleasant, relaxing, scenic tour. My bf and I were the only ones in the canoe while our guide rowed by our side. It felt like we had the canals all to ourselves. We had an excellent tour guide; friendly, knowledgeable, even took pictures for us and gave us parking tips since parking is a bit difficult to find in the area. I highly recommended the canal tours for those looking for a new activity in LA. Arrive early, take a hat if it’s sunny and you can plan to get lunch or dinner afterwards since there are restaurants that are a 10 minute walk away.

Mark, our guide was perfect. He accommodated us in every way imaginable making our trip to Cali so memorable!!
We enjoyed a relaxing (yet taxing) canoeing experience on the canals. Although the water was low initially he assured us it would rise, it did and the trip was great. The ducks followed as we fed them and struggled with our elementary paddle skills along the canals.
It was a blast. Thanks Mark!! He took before and after shots for our keepsakes! Definitely a must do on your bucket list. Don’t just walk the canal neighborhood, paddle through it and see the beautiful homes.

Didn’t go ! They canceled the day of. I was not happy. I planned it with a friend from Canada. Ruined my plans and didn’t get to reschedule

No one showed up so we didn't get to canoe around the canals. Then we called the number they provided and it was out of service. They are going to refund our money at least. But I'm still disappointed

This place is shady, and the tour was a ripoff. We got there, and they had only one dirty boat. My girlfriend slipped and fell off their shady dock, and they then told us they have no insurance or business license.

He came and taught us real quick how to canoe. He was very friendly. Awesome person. Had tons of fun. He gave us some stuff to feed the ducks.
