It was my first lesson. Lorenzo, our instructor was absolutely outstanding providing some initial tuition on the beach before getting into the surf. He was there to help through all the stages and each and everyone of us successfully stood up on the waves highly recommended.

I really wanted to learn how to surf and I’m from Minnesota. I thought it was going to be really cold but the wetsuit made it perfectly fine! I had the opportunity to be instructed by Alex and he was very nice, encouraging and fun to work with! I highly recommend you surf with this company! It was a LOT of fun!

The instructor was really good and very nice. Due to the surf conditions the lesson started an hour earlier but the communication was clear and very good. Had a really great time and got some very useful tips. Would greatly recommend booking a lesson here

This was by far the best surfing experience we could have had in LA, we were three beginner surfers with no previous experience and Alex was super enthusiastic, patient and a great teacher - if you’re looking for your first surfing lesson would definitely recommend this

Incredible. You learn very quickly, and Felipe, the instructor, is the best. Super friendly and extremely helpful. Very easy to learn with him. Additionally, we went with our dog, and they helped us take care of him while we were learning. Highly recommended 100%.

I did the group lesson with Lorenzo and had a blast! Lorenzo was an excellent teacher, easy going, helpful, friendly and supportive. I managed to catch 4 waves!! Was nervous going into the lesson but ended up loving it and so glad I did it, it was a highlight of my California trip!

Golden surf was great! My 7 year old came for her first ever surf lesson and by the end she was riding the waves and loved it. Everyone was friendly and patient and great for kids to learn.
