About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- sweetberthap0 contributionsawesome experience! This was such an awesome experience! I’m a huge fan of Friends so getting to see bits of the set and have lunch at the Central Perk cafe was fabulous! Take enough spending money because it’s very expensive! A simple sandwich/chips/drink type of lunch can easily run around $35-$40/person! Not to mention the Friends boutique…cha-ching! It’s worth it for any fan of the show though. The interactive parts of the exhibits are great, especially for kids. My niece and nephew enjoyed the DC Comics part of the tour too. SoCal residents get a discount for the tickets ($57 as opposed to $69), so don’t forget your ID. Its something to do at least once!Written 14 October 2024

I'm still not sure of the reason for that. Then the tour itself started, around various lots in a buggy-type vehicle, viewing the Night Court set and photos on Sheldon's spot and a walk through the Props Dept and ending up in Central Perk. All in all a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, more-so if you're a film or TV buff.Written 10 July 2024

No matter whether you are getting a discount this tour is going to cost you around $65 a person or in that ballpark. I don't understand why people thought this was a good way to spend this kind of money especially in our case for four people. I read the reviews here and their expectations must be way low because I found this to be a sad reflection of what Warner Brothers produces.
It may be obvious to some people but we did this in December and 95% of this tour is OUTSIDE. California is cold during this time of year and so I recommend that you dress accordingly. I would imagine that sitting in these open golf carts in the heat of the summer is probably also uncomfortable so be prepared.
Maybe this place is slightly better when there are shows filming, but basically you are riding around a cart looking at buildings and that is all. The three stops we made was to see Batman props, The Ellen Show and then the final stop which was the Friends couch and Big Bang theory room but really this was just a remake of a small area and the gift store
I am not sure what the hype is for this tour. I didn't like our tour guide very much as he wasn't as knowledgeable as the louder tour guide behind us. But again this isn't a tour of real sets except for Ellen. It seems to me like we are just seeing several "museum" pieces in two buildings at Warner Brothers.
I would save your money and go somewhere else.

Was super excited to go on this tour because of all the amazing shows and movies that were filmed on this lot. However we were the last tour of the day and all our tour guide cared about was rushing us through everything. She asked us at the beginning of the tour what shows/movies we liked that were filmed there and then proceed to totally ignore all of that while we were there. We had to ask multiple times if she could wait a minute for us to enjoy the set or snap a single picture. She seemed super put out-would recommend going at an earlier time or just getting a tour guide who actually lets you enjoy the tour.

We've spent 2 days in Anaheim and decided to visit the Warner Brothers Studio Tour in Burbank. After almost a 1 hour drive, we've had to learn that parking around the WB Studios is extremely restrictive. No problem, we thought, since there are parking garages available. We've entered the one right next to the tour, and paid $ 15 in advance.
After we've arrived to the security check for the tour, we had to learn that you are only able to enter the building with a ticket. We thought we'd be able to buy tickets inside, so we've asked one of the guys in front of the building how we could get tickets. He replied that the tour was sold out for the and that we should come back another day. Or we could call a certain number to have us put on a waiting list in case someone doesn't show up (Sure, tourists from abroad with no mobile phone... Two days in L.A. waisting a whole day waiting??).
We decided to leave with the intention to get at least the money for parking back. On exiting the parking garage the guy at the register told us that we have to get back upstairs at the tour to get the money back (remember, there was a security check which we couldn't pass because no tickets). We still tried to find a free parking space so that I could hop back over to the tour trying to get my 15 bucks, but no chance. We gave up and decided to never come back...

I have never really thought about going to Warner Bros. before but it was a fantastic experience! We had Freddy (Alfredo) as our tour guide and he was wonderful! While we were on our tour he provided details that I found very fascinating about how movie magic really works as well as facts about each set. He showcased his knowledge in a very entertaining way as he acted out some scenes that matched the location we were in, which really provided an immersive experience. I also could not help but notice that our tour group was the only one to get out of the tour tram and explore during certain parts of the tour while Freddy continued to explain each set. Fortunately Freddy is fantastic at answering any questions you may have as well and has a very friendly personality which made this tour one of a kind! As for the tram itself you are on the tram for a good amount of time to rest your legs, but there was also plenty of time to walk around. Freddy also did a quick survey at the beginning of our ride to see what movies or television series we were interested in, and Freddy came through! There were fans of Argo, Shameless, and Friends on our tram which Freddy flawlessly added to our experience. He shared facts from all three and so much more! I was the fan of Shameless and he even took us to the set where Shameless was filmed which is called a sound stage! It was a lot of fun to see. If there are any Friends fans this tour is wonderful and highly recommended! there was so much to see that involved Friends and it is truly an experience not to miss. We also were able to go into an area called the archives that showcased props and costumes from various movies like Wonder Women and Harry Potter. Then we were taken to a room that stored a lot of Batman vehicles from various movies which was very interesting to me. This whole tour was definitely worth it and if you can I would request Freddy as your tour guide as he does a phenomenal job! Looking forward to our next visit.

This is the second time I’ve done the WB studio tour. My first time was 4 years ago with my mom. I loved that tour. The second time was a week ago with my husband and two teenagers. I noticed they made upgrades to the check-in area, the waiting area, and the store, which are nice improvements. However, although I liked the tour I didn’t love it. Being that I’ve taken the tour two times now, these are my suggestions for improvements:
First, I think all tour guides should be energetic, charming, and full of knowledge and stories about the sets and the different movies and TV shows that are filmed at WB. Our tour guide was nice, and she did provide tidbits of information as we drove around, but overall she was just average (meh). For example, she brought us inside a house used for TV but she didn’t tell us any shows that were filmed there. Give us somebody with charisma!
Second, let us see more than one sound stage. On this particular tour we stopped at the Ellen stage. I loved seeing it, but I wanted to see another one too, maybe from another TV show or a movie set.
Third, drive us around more. Take us to more of the filming locations outside. On this tour we didn’t get to see the jungle area for example. For what we’re paying, I’d like to spend more time on the sets and less time in the museum and shopping areas.
Overall, I would recommend this tour but I think they should give the fans more set and stage access.

What else to expect from a place like this? I was emotional the whole time, and I felt like a part of my life was being shown to me, as so many memories of movies and series crossed my mind. Our tour guide was very attentive and gave us plenty of details, took photos and helped us get by asking what things we liked so he could focus on those shows. For fans of Friends, Harry Potter, Pretty Little Liars, Hart of Dixie... Well, you should come and see with your eyes where the magic happens and how amazing it is. I encourage comfortable shoes and a coat, the place can get windy. We went with a eight-year-old kid that loved it!

An outstanding visit, slickly organised via electric 12 seater buses. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very good indeed. The tour of the various studios and her descriptions of the films made in each and the visits to a couple of sets was fascinating. The tour round Batman's vehicles and motorcycles was almost worth the cost of the tour on its own! My only criticism - perhasps too much packed into the the first two hours and not enough time to take it all in and savour the atmosphere. The tour concludes with a visit to Stage 48 which shows so many of the techniques used in films. One can sit in on the set of 'Friends' and have a film taken, look at the costumes by some of the greats from the 'Golden Age' and finally take a ride on 'Batman's' motorbike and/or Harry Potter's Nimbus 2000 broomstick!. You can then buy a copy of the films you have been in around this atraction. Then there is the shop itself and immersse yourself in what is available. This is a 'Must Do' tour which I cannot recommend highly enough!

The WB studio tour was very well designed, my husband and I had a very fun experience. Our tour guide provide fun pieces of history and re-enactments of clips of movies and shows that were filmed at each of the locations we visited to help us create visuals of the settings we were looking at. All WB staff were professional and courteous throughout our tour. The guided tour we picked was 2 hours long, then we got dropped off at stage 48 where we got lunch and explored a self guided exhibit of popular shows such as friends and Big Bang theory sets, costumes, and photo ops. Then we got shuttled back to the main lobby for another exhibit of DC and harry potter exhibits and photo ops. During the self guided portions you can spend a little more time there, especially if there are lots of people and having to wait for all the photo ops. We spent about another 2 hours on the self-guided portions since we skipped some of the photo ops. So altogether, we spent about approximately 5 hours there (including lunch and shopping in the WB store).
We attended their new studio plus tour which included a lunch at the central perk café, which was great because our lunch was part of the tour price and we didn't have to worry lunch. It also includes the props warehouse, this was eye opening to see the variety and breadth of props in this warehouse.
The tour plus sell out fairly quickly, especially during the summer so purchase tickets online. Parking was really easy, because there are signs for the studio tour when you get near the neighborhood of the warner bros lot, but the navigation directions on gps will get you there also. Parking in the lot is $15, but the elevators from the parking lot take you directly into the lobby of the tours.
We had a really great experience, and would consider another tour in the future.

It is a very fun tour. It was cool to see some active sets for shows and to see the museums with sets from retired shows and past movies. My favorite parts were sitting in Sheldon’s seat and The Wizarding World exhibits with the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts sets. I wouldn’t recommend it for kids under 12 but for teens and adults it’s pretty cool! Be prepared to come with cash because they have gift shops with great souvenirs, professional photo ops, and Cafe Perk where you can actually eat lunch. I spent about 3 hours on the tour and it could have been more if I had eaten lunch there.

We went for a 2 hours guided tour which was followed by 1 hour exploratory tour around a museum. If you want to see filming crew and actors, you’ve got to go on weekdays. We went on a weekend so there wasn’t any filming going on but that also means that we could tour around slightly more places as there weren’t any places sealed off for filming.
The guided tour was cool and our tour guide was informative, showing us the scenes which were shot from the movies. There was also The Dark Knight exhibition showing the cars used in the movie and many costumes from Aquaman, Harry Potter, Wonder woman etc exhibited!

I saw the comparison between the regular studio tour and the studio plus tour. My question is, is lunch at Central Perk worth the additional 75.00? AND are you able to see/visit the cafe if you just do the regular studio tour? Thanks!

We did the regular tour. The difference is that you spend 1 more hour with the tour guide. We also saw a current studio (All Americans) and went inside the Gilmore girls house. You can still eat at Central Park and the food won't cost you $75. I enjoyed the tour we did, but it's up to you how long you want to spend with the tour guide.
