The best LA tour you can take!
My family booked this tour because it was my parents first time in LA and it was one of the best and informative tours we have ever been on! It starts with the owner, Kenneth. I had some questions about booking time and our service dog and he personally called me, recommended the perfect start time and said he would love our dog to join us, he gets hospitality and customer service. We arrived at the starting point and were greeted by our host, Jeffrey. He is one of the nicest guys you can ever meet. He loaded us all in the luxury Mercedes van, stocked with waters/treats, and off we went. The tour is 5 hours, with a lunch stop at the famous Farmers Market. Time flies though! You’ll go through the Hills for breathtaking views, visit Hollywood sign, get the tourist Hollywood experience (Chinese Theatre/Dolby Theatre/Walk of Fame), see movie studios, celebrity past/present homes, Rodeo Drive, and much more. The entire tour our guide, Jeff told us facts and stories about the different areas we visited. His knowledge and stories were worth the price of admission. This was the ultimate LA in a day tour. Highly recommend. Private tours are the way to go and this is the one you want.

      Good segway, bad tour
We booked a 3 hour tour of Beverly Hills. The tour starts at their office, which is far outside of Beverly Hills, so once on the segway it takes about 15 mins to get into Beverly Hills. We went up Rodeo Drive and saw all the expensive stores. Then we went into the residential part. The tour ended after 2.25 hours, way less than the 3 hours booked. Luce pushed constantly to get a tip, but it was not deserved as no explanations were given and he only gave us 75% of the booked time. I have done segway tours in many cities around the world and although riding on the segway was fun, the tour was boring.

      Great Overview of LA
We found these folks on line. Our first visit to LA and wanted to get an overview of the city and sites. Have used the "hop on, hop off" bus in other cities, but for a variety of reasons that didn't work for us on this trip. ASLA offers semi-private van (a Mercedes) tours of the city. We got lucky and our afternoon tour (approximately 3 hours) ended up with just the two of us -- and our driver/guide, AJ. AJ was witty, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. He is an excellent ambassador for the company. The tour was a great introduction to the city and gave us a sense of where we would like to go and explore further. Highly recommended.

Looking for a fun day in LA?? Read this!
Excellent tour! I had a fun and amazing day on my “ private” tour. We hit all of the sites and had plenty of time to take pics. I enjoyed the detailed descriptions of each site as well as hearing personal stories . The van was very comfortable, my tour guide was funny, knowledgeable, and patient. I have already recommended this tour to friends who will be visiting LA. Thank you for a great day!

A memorable one-day tour of San Diego from Los Angeles
I had an amazing experience when I embarked on the one-day tour of San Diego from Los Angeles in early August 2024. My guide, Amy, was knowledgeable, patient and easygoing and she made my time in San Diego enjoyable and enriching. Not only did she take me to the most popular tourist spots in the city, but she also gave me many insights into the monuments, history, anecdotes, typical food and so on. Lots of great views both in San Diego and on board the Pacific Surfliner train.

      Best tour ever.
If you want a more private intimate way to see all the amazing sites of LA this is the tour to book! Jose our guide was fantastic. He took the time to ensure we saw and experienced everything we wanted and his knowledge was fantastic. There was a very emotional moment during the tour when we came across the place my parents first met 56yrs ago. My mum has sadly passed and when Jose realised how special this was to me, turned around and took me back to get photos and gave me time and space to be in the moment. A very special moment given to me by a very special person. Jose thank you from the bottom of my heart you have given me a memory I will cherish forever!!

Great way to see Santa Monica and Venice with tweens/teens
Went as a family of four (14yo and 10yo). Jose was very engaging and thorough throughout our tour. This turned out to be the highlight for the kids.

      Thanks for the Memories!
I truly had such a great experience. Oyola was an excellent tour guide and knew lots of short cuts to get us closer to the things I wanted to see. The tour covered everything I wanted to see and since traffic was light that day, he was able to fit in a couple of surprises for me. Excellent recommendations for lunch and goodies at the Original Farmer's Market. So much fun and something I will remember for years to come!

This was our second Segway tour. Having been about 2 years since the last one, I and one daughter were a little tentative but we re-learned the hang of it quickly. Micah was great, answered all of our questions, gave interesting info about various sites and is a stellar picture-taker. Seriously, I expected a hokey pic in front of the lamp posts, and his pic was so perfectly framed. I don't do Instagram but it was Instagram-worthy.

I think this particular tour was probably 4 stars. The problem is the trek to La Brea just isn't THAT interesting and we didn't get to go inside the visitor center. La Brea is big and it was nice to zip through the pathways on Segways but there isn't much to see or do from the outside.

I like Micah and the Segways were great so I'd just recommend a different destination.

We live near the beach and we had spent the weekend down south at Laguna. We love the city and we wanted a city experience and I found this Segway tour. We love electric scooters and thought it would be similar but it was different enough to make it a new experience and zipping through the Wilshire area was awesome! Micah was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable and friendly! We enjoyed his company and he did a great job keeping us safe! We were celebrating our 19 year anniversary. This turned out to be a perfect activity!

We ended up with only a day and a half in Los Angeles and decided to take the Segway tour of the La Brea Tarpits with the "Another Side of Los Angeles" Segway company.
our guide, Cameron was extremely pleasant, very knowledgeable about the history of the tar pits, and Los Angeles in general. It was a very nice way to spend two hours. We hope to return and try some of their other tours in the future.

I booked a segway tour for my parents' anniversary. It was a lovely tour to the Tar Pits which they enjoyed. They got the hang of riding in minutes and went on cruising down Wilshire towards LACMA. We're locals, so this was more of a weekend activity rather than an explorative experience, but there's always stuff to discover along the way. Thanks to Cameron for being fun, accommodating and just great to be around.
