6 days of a life changing outlook of a place existing out of a dream
I cannot recommend this trip enough. It is for active hikers, but it is worth every step you take. If you get a chance, please request Tashi, he is one of the best guides out there. So happy and knowledgeable he really made us feel welcome. He taught us all about bhutan and buddism and how special this place really is. I cannot recommend this trip enough. It is worth every penny!

        Go to Bhutan!
I had an amazing time on this tour. The tour guide (Sonam) and driver (Nidup) were incredibly friendly and made sure that my time was enjoyable and that I saw everything I wanted to see. The accommodations were great, the food was delicious and custom made to my tastes, and everyone I met was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend Acorn Bhutan travel and would love to return to Bhutan on another tour.

Amazing experience of the natural landscapes, flora and fauna of Bhutan
Our guide (Samdrup) was a very experienced and knowledgeable hiker in Bhutan and took us through many different trails with different amazing views of Bhutan. Our driver was also excellent - even though the roads were rather windy around the mountains, he drove steadily and safely, and always made a point to ensure the vehicle was tidied up/cleaned everyday. We thoroughly enjoyed the company of both our guide and driver, who were always cheerful, friendly and accommodating, while also respectful of when we needed time to ourselves or time to rest. Highly recommended.

The Happiest Trip Of My Life!
It is the happiest country I have ever been to. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe and in awe throughout the trip! The daily schedule was designed in such a way that it offered cultural visits, beautiful treks, and free time! Tashi, my guide, was just outstanding. His enthusiasm for Bhutanese culture and his desire to bring the gorgeousness and history of the country in front was extraordinary. He made each site visit enriching and engaging with his knowledge and enthusiasm :) He also cared for me to ensure that I was always comfortable and having fun, providing me with all my questions answered. Nidup, my driver, was also very good; I could not have asked for a better driver than him. Besides my comfort, he was also very careful while driving, making me feel safe. Furthermore, his friendliness was an extra plus that put a lot of creativity into the journey. All my hotels were comfortable and luxurious and made me feel quite homely. All the places that I came across were as charming as the others. The meals always tasted great, with a blend of Bhutanese dishes and continental! The most memorable part of the tour was the walk to Taktsang Monastery. The scenic views were incredible and left me speechless! I recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore Bhutan! I am already looking forward to returning as soon as possible!!!!

        A Great Tour
I can't express enough gratitude to Acorn Tours Manager Director Mr. Phuntsho for helping me out arranging this unforgettable Bhutan tour. During the planning phase, I chose a start date based on limited knowledge about Bhutan. Later I asked if I could see a festival while I'm in Bhutan. Mr. Phuntsho altered my previous itinerary and recommend a new start date so that I could go to Tshechu festival in Domkhar on day 5. Seeing the festival turned out to be one of the most impressive experience of the tour. Our tour guide and driver are excellent too. They were professional yet considerate and caring. It was a pleasure to spend 10 days with these two wonderful Bhutanese people. I've visited many countries, Bhutan stood out as one of the most impressive ones. Its serenity, spirituality, pristine land, and its unique somewhat otherworldly culture all worth a visit. Definitely Recommend it!

20 days from East to West through Bhutan
What an incredible experience ! This year I realised my more than 30 years old dream, which was to visit Bhutan once in my life, and I must say that thanks to Acorn Tours and Travel, and Karma’s perfect organisation, my dream was more than fulfilled. According to our wishes and with quick responsiveness, Karma organised for my friend and me a tailor-made 20 days tour through the country from East to West, with entry by road into the country from the Jaigaon (India) border. It included a 2 days stay with the Brokpas people in Merak, a stay in Ura to take part to the Ura Yakchoe Festival, with its colourful and spectacular dances, a 2 days excursion to the beautiful off the beaten tracks Haa valley with impressing view of the Himalayan snow covered summits viewed in the far north from the Chelela pass. Lodging choice was a good balance between typical bhutanese homestays/farmstays and conventional hotels of good level, mainly with lovely character. Food was good and abundant, a special mention to the tasty food in the homestays/farmstays where we appreciated the « not too low spiced and occidental tourists adapted » food ! Thank you to Norbu our wonderful, interesting, helpful and lovely guide, giving me a hand whenever the path was too steep or slippery, and very generous with all kind of informations regarding culture, religion, bird- and wildlife, and a pro-photographer on top. Thank you to Nidrup for your good and safe driving, your kind help and great sense of humour. Congratulations Bhutan Acorn T and T, we can only recommend you ! JC + D

Fantastic time, great guide and driver. Highly Recommended!
I spent 6 days with Acorn in Bhutan, and I highly recommend them. Everything was incredible: driver, guide, company responsiveness, flexibility, itinerary. We arrived at the Tiger's Nest before anyone else and had the place to ourselves. And restaurants and hotels were all great.

        Awesome and Amazing Bhutan
Our Amazing Bhutan from East to West (16Days) adventure was a trip of a lifetime. From the start with scenery and staying with Brokpas people in the east to our visit to Paro Taktsang Monastery in the west and each day in between, was one of new discovery . Our guide Norbu Gyeltshen and driver were attentive and fun. Like everyone in Bhutan they were always friendly, and we learnt so much about the Bhutanese people, Buddhism and their loyalty to their King . We are so grateful and appreciative of our opportunity to share in this little gem of a country.

        Perfect Trip to Heavenly Bhutan
We had an amazing 8 nights in Bhutan with Bhutan Acorn. Everything was perfect. Bhutan is simply unforgettable. Bhutan Acorn attended to our needs thoughtfully and responded super swiftly to our enquiries and requests. Every booking and confirmation were made at ease. Karma from Bhutan Acorn brought us a gorgeous pair of Gho and Kira and we were so glad and wore them for the entire trip. Knowing that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, Karma amazingly arranged a tasty cake and a bottle of Bhutanese wine during our stay in Thimphu. Our guide and driver, Tashi and Sonam, made a perfect quartet with us. Tashi is super fun, knowledgeable and attends to our change of plans swiftly and thoughtfully. Sonam is a reliable driver. We asked loads of questions in understanding Buddhism, Bhutan and the secret of their Gross National Happiness. We were mind-blown by the beauty of Bhutan, not just by the clean air, pristine scenery and gorgeous, exquisitely decorated and historic temples and dzongs, but most importantly, the beautiful and genuine people in Bhutan. We love everything in Bhutan. Thanks Bhutan Acorn!

        Bhutan Acorn T&T is fantastic
We just completed an 8 day tour of western Bhutan, with a 3 day trek to the Sagala Pass and Chelela Pass. Bhutan is a beautiful country and exceeded all my expectations. Bhutan Acorn T&T were fantastic! In the planning stage they were very responsive and understanding of our several requests for change to the itinerary. They were very organised and efficient in arranging the visas, government fees and flights to Bhutan. Our guide (Norbu) and driver (Thinley) were also fantastic and went above and beyond in looking after us. They were both very kind and helpful and their knowledge of Bhutanese history, Buddhist practice and local flora and fauna were exceptional. I would not hesitate in using Bhutan Acorn T&T again.

Bhutan Acorn Tours and Travel provided us with a wonderful experience in our 12-day stay in Bhutan. My friend and I were welcomed warmly at the airport by our guide and driver who immediately started us off on our packed adventure in this amazing country. Our guide was friendly, charming, organized, efficient, and knowledgeable. Our driver was cordial, helpful, and always a careful negotiator of Bhutan's winding roadways. Together, they made us feel comfortable and took us on a wide array of experiences, following closely the itinerary that had been promised by Bhutan Acorn. As we had expected, we went to many and varied historical and religious sites, to cultural institutions, and onto a trek into the Bhutan countryside. The 3-day trek in central Bhutan was slightly disappointing as our route took us on and over many roads that had been recently constructed n the area. Our trek crew, though, did a great job in providing us with food and
shelter. The hotels we stayed in were all beautiful, sanitary, and welcoming. The food was plentiful and delicious, giving us a good sampling of the national cuisine. Overall, we were very pleased with our trip and recommend Bhutan Acorn highly.

Dear Keith, I sincerely thank you and Elise for giving us an opportunity to organize your trip in Bhutan. As a small operator, we always stirve to offer authentic experiences to our guests while making sure that the local communities benefit from our acitvities. The 3-day Gangtey Nature Trek was once a popular nature trek as it is relatively easy and passes through several beautiful remote villages and pristine forests. It has somehow lost its charm due to modern development taking place with farm roads being constructed right through some sections of the trekking route. Nevertheless, I am glad that you had a wonderful experience overall. Our guide Lhamo and the driver were absolutely delighted to know that you enjoyed the trip. Thank you once again for choosing Bhutan Acorn. I and my team wish you good health, peace and happiness. Karma & Team Bhutan Acorn Tours.
