- Gfamilyx70 contributionsPerfect day!Very fun experience for the entire family! I would suggest some experience riding ATVs or similar. The terrain was fun and views were fabulous. The staff and guides were very kind and did all they could to make it a memorable day!Written 11 June 2024
- B4909UYtedp0 contributionsHighest waterfall in Europe. This is the highest waterfall in Europe. It is impressive and well worth the trip. Indeed, not to be missed if you are in Umbria or Tuscany. It is 165 meters high, which translates to over 400 feet. You can view the falls from the bottom or hike a distance to get another view.Written 6 October 2023
- Caatie0 contributionsLittle disappointingLess impressive than I expected. It's a man-made waterfall so they actually switch it off in the evening.Written 21 September 2023
- G109HXgabrielap0 contributionsSuper reliable companyWe organized a 2 days tour with Sorprendimi Umbria for our American students (100 students), they were super professional, always replied within hours and made sure everything went well. Highly recommendedWritten 14 June 2023

All exceptional credit to sweetheart Karo(Lina), for professional care, guidance & attention to details, care, concern to our techniques-be they good or bad, offering suggestions on improving. She is to ask for. What other possible scenery could be as beautiful?! She added to the excellent experience. Highly recommended! You are exceptional Karo! Molto Grazie!!Written 23 April 2023
- janicac20190 contributionsMisleading and total rip offWe were promised a tour 3 hour tour around the factory- and what we got was the standard 1 hr tour. On the day the factory was not operational( they do not work on Saturday’s). We were not informed about this when booking. We paid 70€ instead of the standard 9€ for nothing different We were given gifts - presumably to make up for the price difference and to justify the price- they were too large to bring back when travelling by air and products one could have easily bought . Nothing unique! DAY LIGHT ROBBERY! Go direct to the factoryWritten 25 February 2020
- Messi1807770 contributionsTour is a rip offThe perugina tour is nice but it pays more to book directly with perugina as this trip offers no added value for 8 times the price. The offer is same and you pay €9 as opposed to €70 with this tour. Its a rip off to say the least and they do not get back to you with complaints requesting refunds. Anyway, Last Saturday i attended a booked tour (through tripadvisor) for 4 adults, a 14 year old and a 10 year old for a total price of €383. I had enquired the difference in price of perugina which is of €9 adults, €7 for a 14 year old and €4 for a 10 year old. The total of this would have been €47. The perugina tour is 1 hour and this tour is promoted as a 3 hour private tour which means added value to compensate the difference in price and time. Last Saturday the tour lasted 1 hour and not 3 hours, was not private as we had other people with us and was not different in any way to the standard chocolate tour of perugina. After the perugina tour i asked your representative what was next for us and was shocked to hear it was over. I had enquired before the tour regarding the difference in price and amongst other things i was told about special gift. This special gift was not that special after all as it consisted of standard perugina chocolates which we could have easily bought from a supermarket or the perugina shop itself. These together with the other typical umbrian products (montefalco wine, tartufo sauce and olive oil) were totally unwanted as i booked for a special perugina tour of €70 as opposed to the standard fare of €9. Not to mention that as tourists who travel light we couldn't even take the umbrian products onboard the plane on my return home as they exceeded 100ml. The value of these gifts (which i didnt ask for) surely did not exceed the €100. The difference in price paid and the return of your package offered no added value whatsoever from that of perugina. The advertising is totally misleading.Written 25 February 2020
- mB3433ND0 contributionsin love with trufflesfantastic experience! in the morning we met two hunters who accompanied us, with the dogs, to a field where we hunted truffles. after almost an hour, we were able to taste many truffle products, such as sauces or cheeses. the products were delicious and also the location.Written 15 June 2019
- goudaniel0 contributionsAn opportunity to learn more about ItalyWe loved the cooking class. The right way to learn while having fun. At the end of the class, they give you the “mastro lasagna “ certificate.. a very nice souvenir ! It was the second time for us in Umbria, and this time we decided to feel like "local people" and this was the perfect experience .Written 7 June 2019
