          Worth a trip!
Great experience. Great views and Bobby was such a great tour guide. The ride was very long, but in the end, the views are worth the wait.

          Fantastic experience!!
Great tour! Van was comfortable for the trip and our guide Dom was terrific! He gave many tips for us and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We had great stops and Dom made sure we had enough bathroom breaks, etc. along the way! Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon were must see’s!! The lunch we had on the trip was great too! Very well done!!

          Taking In Sedona!
I took my daughter and daughter-in-law on a girl's trip to Arizona. We had a great tour with Mark Friedman. He was very knowledgeable about the sites and the history of the area. The view from The Chapel of the Holy Cross is breathtaking! Mark was helpful in trying to let us get a good photo of sites when we were traveling in the van. We had a few stops where we got out of the van, but I might suggest to maybe have a few more places to actually get out and to have one bathroom break. Mark was a very pleasant guide and I would highly recommend him.

Perfect from the beginning to the end
Sheldon was the best guide ever, he picked me up on time, was very knowledgeable about everything and was always making sure everyone was comfortable. We were 11 in the van and everyone was on time, friendly and excited for the visit. Horseshoe bend was breathtaking, we had about an hour and half to explore around, take pictures, and enjoy the landscape. We went for lunch in a family restaurant, as a vegetarian the food was simple but delicious, I took vegetarian burger. After we went to Antelope Canyon, and it was beyond amazing, I can’t describe in words how beautiful it was. We have done other few stops in beautiful places for pictures, shopping and bathroom. I am so grateful for this experience, was a dream that I won’t ever forget. I recommend 100%.

          Worth the Travel
This was definitely the highlight of our Sedona vacation! Our tour guide, Dom was very knowledgeable and made the three hour trek from Sedona fly by with commentary and fun facts. The antelope canyon was so pretty and our guide Tomai took awesome pictures for us and gave us fascinating details about the Canyon. The bumpy van ride was a fun bonus over the sandy terrain! I would highly recommend this tour to all visitors!

Our guides Brian and Tomai were fabulous. So knowledgeable about the canyons and surrounding areas. The two stops before the canyon were great and shopping at the trading post was cool. Highly recommend for anyone!

          Great Guide
Our guide was very good - knowledgeable, accommodating, and worked well with the group. He had great places in the canyon where he offered to take photos of people with their cell phones, and I now have some great pictures because of it.

          Great day trip!
Sheldon was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and friendly and had a great sense of how to run the tour. The experience exceeded my expectation. There was plenty of time to do all the activities listed and we even stopped at an additional 2 locations for pictures. Antelope canyon was amazing and like nothing else on Earth!

WORTH the long day and every penny!
We knew it would be a long day but had hoped it was worth it. ABSOLUTELY! We are typically go our own way kind of folks. That being said, it was wonderful to ride along an learn more about the areas we were driving through as well as the people and places we visited. Dom was our guide and he was amazing. Lots of opportunity to stop if needed for bathroom breaks, snack breaks, etc. Our group was efficient, so we got to see the Glen Canyon Dam as a bonus. Horseshoe Bend has a .62 mile walk which took us about 14-17 minutes depending on which way. The return walk has an incline so be prepared to take it a bit easy if needed. Antelope Canyon was beautiful. You do have to have Navajo guide so we were transferred to another company's bus for that portion of the journey. They were awesome. Ride to Antelope Canyon is off road for a brief section so it is a bit bumpy. We chose to ride in the back row to get the most bumps but the ride was less bumpy in the front of the bus. The guide for Antelope Canyon helped us get all the best angles and most beautiful photographs. Although there are lots of groups in the Canyon at one time they move you through but I didn't feel rushed. Lunch was good and efficient. Pricey day trip, although worth every penny! Picked up at 6:30am and returned to our hotel at 5:40pm.

          Well planned and executed
Excellent tour- everything was on time and well executed. We had a fabulous guide - Mike. The visit to the lava rocks and lunch at Cameron were well-timed. Overall, really enjoyed the 4 stops at Grand Canyon.

          Worth EVERY penny
First off this tour was fantastic..It was the perfect amount of time but also our guide Dom, is literally the most amazing human. He is not only knowledgeable but open to discussing everything and anything. Did I mention he's a master tracker? He won't tell you that. But he is. The whole thing was seamless and easy. My husband and I had a wonderful time. The group we went with was awesome. I highly recommend the entire tour. Also, let's have a moment to talk about the Navajo who lead the antelope canyon tour. They are most amazing people and please take a moment to respect the nation they are and all they do for not only us but the land. Without them we would not be able to experience the beauty. I can keep going but your gonna get bored with the positive review. Nothing bad here! Thanks again Dom 😍

We booked our private tour of the Grand Canyon from Sedona through TripAdvisor/Viator. Ty, our tour guide, was exceptional! His background (native Arizonan), education, and experience combined with a wide range of interests and a fantastic memory, allowed him to converse and answer questions about a wide variety of topics. He has and maintains a virtual mental library of Grand Canyon information: statistics, measurements, geology, and botanicals. Based on our interests, he personalized our tour/day beginning with a stop for coffee and a pickup of lunch at a wonderful market and ended with a stop in Williams, a small town on the historic Route 66 that included a old-time train depot with versions of historic train cars. All-in-all, an unforgettable day.

Our tour yesterday to the Grand Canyon with Ed Preston was amazing!!! From the pick up to drop off, our time was super enjoyable. Next to the Grand Canyon, Ed was the other highlight of the trip. His claim and friendly demeanor made him so approachable. The way he delivered the information about the land, the people, and the history was delivered in a storyteller style which made our 11 hour day very entertaining and fun. We loved our tour and will be back. We will make a special request for Ed.

This was our 3rd Grand Canyon tour from Sedona and possibly the best. Since we had done it before, I liked the fact that we skipped the lava fields, the Wupatki ruins and lunch at the Cameron Trading post. Our great guide (Steveebe) suggested we pre-order a lunch to pick up outside the park (forgot the name, but it was a really good sandwich). All of which, meant we had much more time at the part with longer stops to admire the view. Steveebe was a remarkable resource of information and we enjoyed his narration and company throughout. If you haven't been to the Grand Canyon, the aforementioned stops are great and I'd recommend, but since we'd 'been there, done that', we were content to skip them this time. We did make a shopping stop at the Trading Post on the way back and that's a really good place for a wide variety of souvenirs at reasonable prices.

Seeing the Grand Canyon in photos does not compare with its majesty in real life experience. This day tour from Sedona seemed to fit in enough scenic stops that gave plenty of chance for photos and just admiring the view. We were so lucky to draw Dave as our guide, a gentleman with plenty of knowledge and experience with the Canyon.

My wife and I, plus our two sons and their s.o.'s all thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Being 6 of us, we were also lucky enough to fill enough of the bus that it ended up being a private tour. That meant, among other things a more relaxed time for all of us. Dave knew all of the ins and outs of avoiding (for the most part) the huge crowds that passed through the park that day.

Weather had an interesting impact on our tour. It was sunny and 60's in Sedona, but in the 20's, overcast with low clouds and snow flurries at the Canyon. This happened to excite our photographer son who was thrilled to capture the Canyon with other than standard sunny AZ lighting and in the clouds.

This tour was excellent. We were staying in Sedona for a weekend and this tour helped us maximize our time. We were extremely lucky with J.R as our guide. He was very friendly, funny and has a deep knowledge about every location we visited. I truly feel this tour was money well spent as we visited multiple spots that we would have never found. J.R provided a safe journey and had a wealth of information to provide during the drive. You would enjoy this tour regardless, but consider yourself lucky with JR as your guide.

Really great tour. Our guide, Andrea, was so very knowledgeable and made sure everyone was comfortable and cool. We were especially grateful for the stop at the grocery store in Flagstaff to grab food for lunch at the recommendation of Andrea because there were few dining options available in the park and there’d be long lines. The views were just breathtaking! Thank goodness Andrea had a large cooler full of water for us all to drink and she encouraged hydration throughout!

Mark F. is an expert guide whose knowledge of the area rivals any Wikipedia entry! As he said, the day began with the warm up activities such as the volcano and Native American ruins and reservation and ended with carefully chosen vistas of the Grand Canyon. Mark ensured that we had ample stops for creature comforts, and he never ventured from his mission to keep us informed and entertained. My husband and I rarely take tours because we like to be independent, but we definitely could not have maximized our time without this carefully planned and executed tour. Perhaps the other guides are qualified, but I would definitely request a tour with Mark.

Highly Recommend Great Venture Tours, our tour guide was excellent, perfect amount of information and time spent at multiple locations. She was very professional and planned trip perfectly. Andrea Corral was our guide. I would highly recommend her if possible. We enjoyed the trip to Grand Canyon and multiple sights along the way that we would never have known to see, it was a bit hazy from wildfires, late July (get there for first time in 50 years and its hazy) but still fantastic and makes me want to go back on perfectly clear day.

Charlie was absolutely the best and he deserves a 5-star rating. His knowledge of history and geography and geology was amazing and so appreciated.

The trip did not include the full itinerary yesterday due to closings due to Covid which was disappointing. We would have loved to see a little of the Navajo Reservation but will have to make that on a different trip. We definitely want to come back to the Canyon and spend time in and around Page and Lake Powell.

The weather was perfect and the convenience of being picked up and dropped off at our resort was excellent.

A very pleasant and impressive experience. Great Ventures Tours organized everything very well; Very special mention to the guide Cathryn "Cat" Miller, very enthusiastic and professional. He took us to very particular sites/viewpoints of the Grand Canyon and all the time he told us very interesting points about the geography of the area, geology topics and the culture of the Navajo people.
If they hire Great Ventures (highly recommended); Request Cathryn "Cat" Miller to accompany you.
