About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Krispy00020 contributionsGreat info and relaxing rideSo glad we took this tour as parking at the chapel would have been a nightmare. Our driver, Salt, was extremely friendly and knowledgeableWritten 19 March 2025
- 104angelh0 contributionsTripAdvisor wouldn’t refund my moneyMy birthday trip to Sedona was extremely snowy. Our tour was canceled due to the snow our car ended up stuck in a snow bank for 2 hours waiting on the tow truck plus an accident had that part of I-17 closed as well. The tour guide and staff were extremely kind and told me that on their end they’d refund my money due to the weather and said I should call TripAdvisor to have them refund me as well. I was unable to speak to anyone and can’t find anywhere in the app to request my refund since I lost the confirmation and reservation number.Written 8 March 2025
- leenR145QD0 contributionsCathedral rock, The Holy Cross. We enjoyed this tour. Salt was a great guide. She was very informative and has a great personality. I would give her a 10 out of 10.Written 3 March 2025
- celiacR8875KT0 contributionsBest experience for a great price!Salt was our trip guide and true to her name; flavored the tour with her rich knowledge of everything from native culture, to animals, plants and even Big foot, lol! She was very sweet and truly catered the tour to our group. The company was awesome to do business with. We were caught up in traffic and they called to make sure we wouldn't miss our tour, helped us find a parking spot and truly went above and beyond! Thank you, Red Rock Magic Trolley!Written 25 February 2025
- 437arlenp0 contributionsGreat experienceSalt was an excellent guide. Her delivery was spontaneous & informative. She was a good driver. Well worth the trip. Hard to find the pick up place. Few stores had their numbers in a visible place. Better directions please. Parking was hard to find.Written 24 February 2025

- 729cathrynr0 contributionsGreat tour, lack luster vehicleAbsolutely nothing wrong with our driver, in fact he was very pleasant and friendly. The route was also very nice and the stops were lovely with an apt amount of time to take it all in. 2 stars taken off because of the van itself. There was one a/c unit in the back of it which spits out cold air only to the aisle in between seats and none actually reaches any of the passengers. This leads to the van not feeling luxury (as described) or feeling very relieving after returning to it from the sights. Perhaps the issue doesn’t exist in the earlier time slots in the day, but nonetheless hampered the experience.Written 3 June 2024
- 324felisam0 contributionsEducational, Inspirational and breathtaking all in one!We took the Hi-points tour on a small air-conditioned bus. Scott was an amazing guide. We learned so much about the area. Chapel Rock was truly an experience. Would highly recommend.Written 18 May 2024
- Sailboat26010 contributionsVan Needs RepairsCons—Van was not in good shape. On a 80 degree day air conditioner did not work. Microphone was broken so it was hard to hear the tour guide in back of van. Pros—-Sedona views were fabulous. Chapel of the Holy Cross was amazing. And it was so nice to be dropped off right at the ramp. My husband and I were glad neither one of us had to drive the hills.Written 17 May 2024
- 7brandib0 contributionsAwesome!!Amazing views and our tour guide was great! We visited Chapel of the Holy Cross, Bell Rock, saw great views of Cathedral Rock and Airport Mesa!Written 27 April 2024
- cathybD3845EG0 contributionsFun and informative!Had a great time. 2 hours was just enough time and the three places we went to were perfect! Tom was fantastic! Highly recommend this tour. Affordable and relaxing ☺️Written 23 April 2024
- georgettem6990 contributionsThis is a must if visiting Sedona !!Our tour guide Brewster was fantastic . A tour well worth the money . It gives you a taste of all of the high points . He was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor . He answered all of our questions . We saw beautiful parts of Sedona and the rock structures . My favorites were the chapel and Snoopy .Written 19 April 2024
- marmist4540 contributionsDisappointedThe tour was cancelled and I was not notified. The staff at the check in location were able to reimburse my credit card on their own initiative. Thanks to them. I booked a different tour later in the day.Written 6 March 2024
- K4ZUmaryf0 contributionsLearning About the Red RocksThe views were amazing even though it was rainy day and the clouds were low at times. Our guide, who attended the Woodstock festival in 1969, was very interesting. The van was perfect with large windows and provided heat to combat the chilly weather.Written 1 February 2024

A quick scenic tour of some of Sedona's more popular sites. A knowledgeable tour guide was very brief and while not humorous he definitely contributed to the enjoyment. It is so nice to be able to enjoy the sites without having to dodge traffic. It also gives you the opportunity to see what sites where you may want to go back and spend more time. Well worth the affordable cost. The only drawback is the local parking garage and another lot were closed so had to use the limited street parking at $2 an hour with lurking meter maids, so beware!

Stan was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable. He took us all over Sedona telling us about what we were looking at and offering jokes and stories about everything. He was also very knowledgeable about Native American customs and traditions. Great driver as well. We recommend this tour with Stan.

Our Driver, Stan From Austraila, made this tour the BEST!!! He was very interactive with the guest on the trolley, shared a wealth of information, was fun and entertaining yet respectful to the area and tradtions of those who call Sedona holy. He was attentive, volunteering to take pictures of everyone with their phones at a stop he made just for that reason, with beautiful Sedona and the Red Rocks in the back ground. Would recommend this company and would recommend you ask for Stan, he really is AMAZING!!

Having taken the same or a similar tour many years ago I couldn’t imagine not taking the tour again to visit all of my favorite sites I had enjoyed in the past. To my surprise the tour covering many of the obligatory sites glossed over some of the more stunning attractions and omitted many obligatory locations completely. While now a new major stop on the tour makes Culture Park the only location where patrons can disembark the faux trolley, as it slips the past sites I had appreciated in the past like Airport Mesa and Chapel of the holy cross and with the exception to a short trip down route 179 ignores the southern, more picturesque, part of Sedona completely.
That being said the hour and a half tour is the best $28.31 you can spend in Sedona. Our driver, Stan, made this an enjoyable trip, educational, cultural gem of an experience. His knowledge and talents surpass everything with the exception of the sheer beauty of the surrounding valley. A nice additional touch of offering to take pictures of couples at culture park with the majestic mountains in the background was appreciated. He pointed out historical points of significance, restaurants, galleries, adjacent hiking trails and their mystical vortexes, all with relevant facts laced with a touch of humor.
The trip was relaxing and educational and a must see for first time visitors and maybe even second time visitors. Their designated parking is impossible to find, ask then to describe in detail the location otherwise you’ll end up like we did hunting through uptown trying to locate an applicable parking spot. There is no designated spot to wait the half hour they suggest you arrive early. A small storefront ticket office gives way to the town’s sidewalk where patrons wait milling about like human pylons waiting for their transportation to arrive. All in all, a good experience that could stand a few improvements.

Enjoyed the drive and scenery, but narration was difficult to follow. Available cold water would have been nice. Finding where to check in was not easy fortunately friendly assistance from other store owners and bus drivers eventually ensured check in.

There were 8 in our family tour, $211.76. We booked an"open trolley", like they show in their ads. We were quickly ushered to a closed in bus and stuck in the back. When inquiring?? One employee said because of "last night storms?" and Matthew, the driver said the "the trolley broke down." The bus was crowded and our view in the back was starring at a plywood board that covered a previous handicap door. Horrible~ could not see anything or hear much! Refund request was denied stating "tour booked as requested." We DID NOT request a closed in bus "used for weddings and drinkers". Totally unreasonable company.

Bonnie, we are very sorry for the experience you had. We want every guest to have the best Sedona experience possible and we appreciate your feedback. The reason the refund was rejected was because there were no details as to why a refund was asked for. I submitted for a full refund with Viator due to the experience you stated to them. I apologize that they have not contacted you about it yet. I submitted another one today. If you don't hear from them by next week please email me at m.lown@rasedona.com.

We went on the 55 minutes ride. The guide pointed out a number of named rock formations and explained some of the history of the area. He also gave several restaurant recommendations which was useful. All in all I felt it was worth the time/money to get a nice overview.

We took the 10:30 tour on a Sunday morning and there were only 5 of us which was great because we each got to sit in our own seat! The driver was very friendly enthusiastic and informative. You can tell he really enjoyes what he does. We learned a lot about the mountains and valleys and why they look the way they do. He told us about places worth visiting and answered many of our questions. I would recommend taking a tour as soon as you get in to town so you can get a feel for the area and what it has to offer.

We took a double tour, first to The Chapel of the Holy Cross, the next was less memorable. Matthew was an excellent driver/ guide. Knowledgeable and funny. He even took photos for everyone which came out very well! We had a bus with open sides which was comfortable and cool and you could see clearly. Good value for money.

How large of group can you accommodate? I am hosting a convention and would like to offer it as an option.
Do you think they would pick us up at the Sedona Airport?
Written 4 August 2019
Would this be good for a large group?
Written 31 July 2019
Agree with other reviewer. This would be able to accommodate a number of people but they are limited by vehicle size so it would depend how big your group is. You would have to contact them to see what arrangements could be made for you.
