Spend a thrilling 2 hours aboard a single-rider ATV during an off-road tour in the Sonoran Desert. You'll ride on rugged and rocky trails in the scenic Bradshaw Mountains and cross the Aqua Fria River during the scenic journey. Your guide is knowledgeable about the region's plant life, wildlife, and history, with plenty of stories to share.
What to Expect
Your ATV tour starts from Rock Springs, a community located in Black Canyon City just 45 minutes north of Phoenix. Check in with your guide for a 1-hour safety briefing and training then slip on your helmet, goggles, and gloves before setting off for the Bradshaw Mountains of the Sonoran Desert.

Travel past saguaro cacti and deep canyons carved by flash floods in the vast desert terrain. You'll ride off-road over rugged washes and cross creeks.

The 2-hour ride offers scenic views of the Agua Fria River Valley, and includes plenty of stops to learn about the area from your guide. Hear anecdotes about the Native Americans who once farmed the unforgiving landscape; search for coyotes, bobcats, deer, rabbits, quail, and snakes.

Outdoor fun

These guys are great. Gino and Chas are excellent guides. I also enjoyed shooting the machine guns with Josh. Get there early so you can take advantage of the gun range.

Most Fun I've Had on 4 Wheels

TripAdvisor has led me astray on many occasions (usually restaurants). In this case, however, the 5 star rating is well deserved. As I had mentioned, this is the most fun I've had on 4 wheels, but also definitely 1 of the top 5 most fun...More
