HOMETEL like home, better than a Hotel!
I cant speak highly enough. I initially booked 2 nights, but after my 1st night, I re booked a further 3 ! I was made so welcome by the lovely Luna and her team, more like family! The 'homes' are huge, well appointed with kitchens and super clean! The pillows! Amazing, I truly wanted to steal one! The outdoor rock bathrooms are enclosed and completely private. I felt incredibly safe. Air con perfect. Food great and shows wonderful! I have booked my next stay already! Samoa 🇼🇸 perfection.

    Refused to return deposit
The owner refused to refund our group of friends deposit for buffet dinner that we had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. We asked to charge a cancellation fee, she said no. She said that regardless of what her staff may or may not have said, she will not refund anything. Rude and disrespectful owner.

    Fun hotel to stay at
Such a fun hotel, if you’re looking for a quiet resort, then I would recommend looking elsewhere. Might be a bit quiet during the day however we ate at the restaurant almost every night we stayed there and it was so much fun, music and people that were there. Checked out their Fia Fia night, that was a blast. If you’re staying here, I recommend you check it out on Thursday night’s. We also were able to join the pool party as our-stay was at the end of the month. Dinner was fairly priced and their happy hour was pretty cheap compared to other hotels. I went with my husband and 10-year-old son. Will definitely go back again. Staff were always attentive and super helpful. We just didn’t have any hot water during our stay but it was fairly hot so it wasn’t needed.

    Average accomodation, not a resort
Stayed one night solo in July. Overall mediocre accomodation, room clean and spacious but staff unhelpful and facilities very average POSITIVES - large, self contained rooms with basic kitchen facilities - slightly outside of Apia so a little quieter - nice outdoor shower - rooms air conditioned NEGATIVES - staff unhelpful, English limited and had a few language difficulties where staff were unable to understand what I was asking or provide assistance. - no wifi - food took a long time to arrive and was very average. - whole bathroom is outdoors so if it rains you get wet whilst using the toilet/washing hands etc. - noisy at night with lots of dogs barking - small pool, does not look like pictures

    Great Location
This place was great. Really enjoyed the location which is about 8 mins drive from Apia. The room was very spacious and clean and loved the air conditioning after 9 nights in a beach fale. The pool was refreshing and happy hour was a plus. The staff were friendly and helpful would recommend

Attractive small hotel in a pleasant setting
This was a reasonable value hotel in a pleasant setting, with lovely grounds. My fale was very spacious, had air conditioning and a kitchenette which was very handy. The swimming pool was clean, though needing a few tiles replacing. Staff were courteous, although I had to ask for my room to be cleaned by the third day. The owners and staff were very helpful. I felt very comfortable at Le Manumea, which was important as I was travelling alone for professional purposes.

    Thank you Le Manumea
While the decor is a little dated, it was very clean. Staff were really friendly and nothing was an issue. The gardens were beautiful and tranquil. Thank you Le Manumea for a wonderful introduction to my friends who we took there, of my homeland Samoa, you did us proud!

    VERY DISAPPOINTED
The restaurant was not available for meals when required you had to leave the premises to buy elsewhere, dog and cat faeces everywhere that can’t be helped, the TV channels are terrible no signals no WIFI - the microwave doesn’t work lucky we booked 2 rooms, no hot water in my mums unit, if you run out of soap and toilet paper you have to buy elsewhere yourself as there were NO STAFF to be found on the premises to ask for help. Parking first in first serve otherwise you’re stuck outside the gate with your rental, no security. The only best thing is the FIAFIA NIGHT but the food was average not as good as expected Samoan Cuisine being a first time coming into the country. So unsatisfactory.

    Cold food served
Stay one night as it was the only available accommodation on short notice. The rooms were good the outdoor showers were interesting as the wife didn’t like the roaches hanging out by the shower, however the water pressure was great compared to other hotels. Dinner service wasn’t great food came out around an hour and some food was cold. Not great at all

Terrible Food service - food was cold
Nice location, we were there while there was renovations taken place so it wasn’t ideal. We stay one night and the rooms were decent and the water pressure was the highlight. The pool look murky (maybe due to the chlorine) no one was swimming when we were there. Dinner was a nightmare! We had a large party and we asked if they could cater for a group of up to 16 ppl, they said they could. We all ordered at the same time and one table received their food whilst the other sat waiting almost an hour (which we found was normal around most hotels) when the food finally came out it was cold!! I can handle late food service, I will not accept cold food! They did offer anything but an apology - absolutely ridiculous service. I would NOT recommend this place, we were only here because no where else was available to cater a big group. Next time we’ll book ahead of time.

    Comfortable, easy stay
3.5 stars. We booked two rooms for 8 nights - the rooms were very spacious and clean and the outdoor showers were nice. A wider range of amenities - stuff like complimentary shampoo, water/milk for coffee would have been beneficial. There is a shop across the road where you can purchase such amenities. Hotel is about 10-15 mins drive from Apia so the location provides a quiet and peaceful stay. Staff were friendly, we also booked a family function during their Thursday fia fia night - the buffet was decent and the cultural entertainment was top notch! The only thing we could fault was the wait for table service, the girls did their best to serve our party while still tending to other customers. Admin was a little messy - our final bill was not calculated correctly upon check out. Receiving an email with a request for further payment (less than $100) after we had checked out and left the country was a little bothersome.

    Highly recommed
We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of our trip and would highly recommend. It’s a lovely resort and great value for money. They have happy hour from 10am to 11pm and all drinks including cocktails are only $7 tala. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The rooms are a decent size and have an outdoor bathroom which is cool. The staff are so lovely and friendly. It gets a 5 star from me for The price.

    A vibrant family run hotel
Incredibly generous owners, always present and always welcoming. Great staff. Only draw back is the zero vegetarian or vegan food options on its limited menu - please add local food!!! But excellent place to stay.

    Brilliant FiaFia Culture Show
Family of 4, we stropped by to watch the weekly TRhursday night Fia Fia Cultire Show. It was brilliant. The host is funny and enjoyable, the performers are amazing. The dancing, lava lava demonstrations, the cocunut (popo) demonstration and the fire finalse was all professional and memoriable. We had such a great time we came back the following Thursday and watched it all over again :) Brilliant

The show was the best we’ve seen on island - as locals who have taken visiting to see their fare share of fia fia nights I’d say the fia fia night at le Manumea hotel is a must do. Whenever we have family on island from overseas we’ll be taking them to this show from now on.

Dinner was enjoyable and better than some higher priced resorts we’ve frequented. The shows host is a natural entertainer with great energy. Reception was helpful, communicative and accommodating while making our bookings - The dances were well choreographed and the costumes were lovely. The siva Afi (fire knife) performance was excellent.

Pro tip - email in or stop by in person as soon as possible to make your booking and pay ahead well before the Thursday show. Seating is limited so be sure to plan ahead. Arrive around 6:30 to enjoy a drink poolside before the crowds. Overall 10/10 - very much looking forward to sharing another fia fia night with family at le Manumea 🤍

We booked online, ahead of time and heard happy hour is 5-7, so we thought we get there early and have a drink. We were the first ones there. In hindsight, 6:30 would’ve been early enough. Everyone from the waitstaff, greeters, security, performers, everyone were so friendly and welcoming, and excited and proud to share their culture and history with us, just as we were to experience and celebrate in it. The buffet dinner was excellent. They offered coleslaw, chicken, oka, chop suey (YUMMM! Dying to try it and it didn’t disappoint), and a few other traditional dishes.
The performances began not long after dinner. It was quite modernised, (with modern music playing) compared to the cultural experience in Apia city, but it soon got into some more traditional performances, and the fire performances were a definite highlight. Such talented performers!! We loved it. The MC was great, and the audience involvement was done well too. A really beautiful space they’ve created there.
The parking is a bit sketchy but just park up the side street and you’ll be fine.

The show was one of the funniest and most entertaining shows we have ever seen. The host was hilarious and the girls were absolutely stunning in their colorful Lavalavas.
The food was good and plentiful. We loved it!! We keep watching our videos and reliving the fun night. Highly recommend going!!

We purchased this deal because of what was advertised, a fia fia night and buffet dinner with $7 happy hour drinks how could you go wrong with that ?
On arrival we asked what drinks were on the $7 happy hour list and no drinks were on the list.
I showed the staff the advert and what is advertised. It wasn’t honoured. I was ok with that but then came the dinner , buffet ?
We had a small plate to try a few things, then asked do we just go back up to get more and was advised no it’s only one serving. However others (locals) were getting up and get another serving.
The show started, was lots of commentary and little dancing,
The commentator continued with acts/comments in the show that weren’t kid friendly ( I had my 14 year old with me) of grinding and explicit comments.
We walked out.
A shame as we have visited Samoa numerous times and been to plenty of fia fia night shows and would have to say it was one of the worst.
Suggest going over to the shows on the other side of island or the one in town is great.

The staff were friendly but quite inexperienced, having to check everything with more experienced staff every time. I asked to order cocktails which was originally a yes, then a no there’s none left, only to see other tables being served cocktails through the night afterwards.
The food was ok. Meat was a bit dry, tough and lacked juiciness. Great breadfruit salad. No dessert or fruit. No drinks included. Some tables were served in plastic cups.
Wasn’t a fan of the mc for the night. Some funny jokes but repetitive. Sound system didn’t work properly. Dancers were enthusiastic, the guys really interacting with guests. Ordering a taxi at the end of the night wasn’t easy.
I’m sure paying the extra money at other places would be worth it.

Better lighting for the dancers at the back as they wasnt enough light to highlight them, hard to see for those whose tables were set close to the bar. Food was great though.

The show was great, fun, and very entertaining. The island food buffet was great too. However, dessert was not included in the meal, which I found strange because other Fiafia nights we had attended during the week included this.

One thing that wasn't so great was the placement of the stage to where some of the side tables were situated. Your view of the performance is partially blocked (either by pillars, shrubs, etc) depending on where you are seated. Some people at my table were annoyed because they couldn't really see all of the performance. Our table was on the stage's right side (next to the swimming pool). So I'm wondering how other tables further from us enjoyed the show.

If they can improve the audience's vantage point, this would give all punters a better experience. I would suggest some auditorium seating in line with the front of the stage. This would mean moving some of the tables.

The show is entertaining. Give it a go!
