Incredible fly fishing experience in Bariloche! The guide Renzo was friendly and patient with us. We caught some nice trout’s on Moreno lake surrounded by snowed pics. This is a must-do for any fly fishing enthusiast!

Two of us were out with a wonderful guide, Juan. I had never been fly fishing and my friend was experienced from many years ago. Juan was so helpful to both of us. His deep expertise and extremely friendly personality was ideal. He had more guidance for the rest of our stay in Bariloche as well. Two small trout were a bonus.

I took my partner on a 2 day overnight camping fishing trip as a birthday & engagement celebration in Feb. It suffices to say that I've outdone myself too early on (way too many birthdays left) and it will be hard to beat this gift. We never met Martin in person he just organized the trip, but Pedro and Pablo our guides were so so incredible! Both my partner and I have fly fished before in Colorado but would still consider ourselves novices. We both learned an incredible amount from Pedro and I felt like I walked away with a significant improvement to my casting and technique. We had great luck on both days, catching more browns than we've caught even on the best days in Colorado. Pedro did a great job finding us the perfect holes, the right flies, often retying if we weren't getting bites or moving us to a different area of the river. We fished until late in the evening on both days. While Pedro was busy with us, Pablo raced ahead to set up an incredible camp for us. He made awesome lunches, set up all of the tents, started on dinner with an incredible pit for smoking meats, and more. It was a PRODUCTION! It was some of the best food we have eaten during our whole trip - fresh vegetables, meat, and to-die-for dulce de leche crepes. There was plenty of beer and wine flowing, and they were never short on beer during fishing either. More than anything, Pedro & Pablo were great company the whole weekend and we admire how much effort they put into us having a wonderful experience. A memory we will cherish for a long time.

The day started with a pickup at our hotel by our guides Hermon and Sabastion both spoke English quite well. It had snowed the night before but as we arrived at the Manso river so did the sun, With Sabastion instruction I was able to connect with a # of nice trout. The shore lunch with steak and Malbec just made the day even better. Thanks to all especially Martin who coordinated the trip perfectly.Thanks again Mark

We had scheduled a full day, but due to a flight delay, we were only able to do a half. They were incredibly accommodating, even after our schedule changed. They picked us up at the airport, even supply me with a coat because I forgot mine. we had a great half day with Sebastian. It was the first day of the season and my brother caught four fish after a quick lesson. We had a wonderful trip. They supplied snacks and drinks. We had a wonderful day on the river.

Outfitters Patagonia are world class. My guide, Juan Cruz, was a fantastic fishing partner. We fished hard, ate well, and were lucky enough to catch a legendary Limay brown trout. The fish of a lifetime for me. Everything was coordinated without a hitch and Martin, at Outfitters Patagonia, was friendly, responsive, and a true professional. Can’t wait for my next trip! A friend and I floated with Outfitters Patagonia on a 4-day river trip and had a marvelous experience. Our guides were knowledgable, competent, spirited and friendly, and the communications, food and logistics were handled beautifully–-not to mention landing boatloads of fish! Highly recommended!

That was just perfect ! Juan teached very well my son, who discovered beauty of fly fishing and caught several fishes despite wind gusts & high level of water. A lot of fun, professionalism, cool time together ... and at the end a big & healthy... male rainbow trout for my christmas day ! Many jumps and a fun fight indeed... Great time. Change nothing ! 👍

I was able to sneak away for a 1/2 day fly fishing trip. Having not fished for a few years I was very rusty, but German, my guide was very patient and I learned a lot. I was able to catch 2 large rainbows almost right away on a caddis fly hatch. Then we switched to wet flies on sinking line and I caught an enormous rainbow with German's expert guidance. My only regret is that I only booked a half day and not a full day!

From my initial interaction with Martin to my fishing guide, Facundo, everything exceeded my expectations. It helps when one lands a large Rainbow on the Rio Limay, but the experience was more than that. Booked a full day fly fishing trip and it didn’t disappoint, even when the high wind gusts killed the afternoon fishing. Facundo was more than a gracious host and guide, he’s a great individual. This trip left me with a strong desire to return.
