About
Experience for yourself the authentic gaucho culture in the Andes mountains. We spend the day on a working ranch in a unique micro-climate of rolling green hills, babbling streams and some of the highest mountains and volcanoes in the World . Your 3.5-hour horseback ride starts at the foot of the Cordón del Plata, an Andean mountain range in the Uco Valley. The landscape consists of snowcapped peaks and glacial valleys. You can easiy spot wildlife such as llamas, foxes, hares, eagles and condors. For a break we stop to enjoy an infusion of mate, a popular tea made from yerba mate leaves steeped in hot water. After 90 minutes we reach 9,185 feet (2,800 meters) above sea level, with breathtaking views of the Cordón del Plata mountain range and Potrerillos Valley. After the excursion we sit down to enjoy an authentic Argentine asado (barbecue) for lunch.

BEST TOUR we have ever been on. A MUST!
Oct. 2019 • Couples
We have been travelling South America and this is by far the BEST tour we have done and a MUST DO if you are in Mendoza.

Everything is brilliant!

From the excellent tour guides, Juan and Paywen, who educate you throughout your trip on the nature and wildlife.

The horses are well trained, so even a novist rider can enjoy the trek as they easily meander for 3-4 hours through the trek as you reach over 3000m in the Andes with spectacular views.

To the amazing asado lunch back at the ranch where we experienced some of the best food and wine we have had.

Overall this is a must and you will definitely not regret booking it.

The best day of our trip
Nov. 2019 • Couples
We are currently a month into a 6 week trip around South America and so far nothing we have done has beaten this tour! We booked this tour very last minute when we arrived in Mendoza and it did not disappoint.

The guides were so friendly and accomodating the whole day. I have riding experience but you definitely don't need any at all to go on this tour. There were 3 guides with us at all times and the groups are small.

The views are absolutely incredible and it is so lovely to be in the fresh air of the Andes. The difference with this tour is that you don't just go into vineyards or around the bottom of the Andes - you get to go up and experience the amazing wildlife and views.

Once back at the ranch there is the most amazing Asado and wine cooked by the family which tastes amazing.

I HIGHLY recommend this tour!
