Overview

Explore Buenos Aires while traveling like a local on this half-day bike tour of the Argentine capital. Pedal around the city on this tour that provides all the necessary equipment. Let your guide lead the way so you don't have to worry about directions while checking out neighborhoods such as Puerto Madero and La Boca, learning by listening to live commentary on the way.

What to Expect

Meet your guide and group in San Martin Square, where you listen to a safety orientation and get set up with your bike and helmet. Saddle up and pedal off through some of Buenos Aires' most interesting neighborhoods. Your guide leads the way so you never have to pull over and consult a map or GPS.

Explore the neighborhood of Puerto Madero before heading into the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve, an area best explored by bike or foot.

Stop in La Boca's Caminito, a street museum, and see the home of the Boca Juniors, La Bombonera Stadium.

Listen to your guide's historical and cultural commentary as you pedal through San Telmo and past the Palaza de Mayo, home to the Casa Rosada.

End your tour near the starting point with a better understanding of the city geography and ideas of where you might like to return later in your stay.

Highly recommended to visitors

This is a great way to know the city, covering the key locations across BA city. Our guide, Mariano, spoke very good English and shared a lot of history that one would not be able to cover by foot in that same amount of time.

Lots of biking on haphazard streets, couldn't understand guide well

This tour was mediocre. The guide warned us that some stretches wouldn't have bike lanes, but I was disappointed to find that we were driving through major construction zones and on roads with 18 wheelers doing 50 mph who tried to squeeze past us. I'm...More

I believe there are two different tour options. The tour we did took us through la Boca but not through the recolleta (I believe that was the other tour option)
