Penguin experience
Dec. 2019 • Solo
Go play with the penguins! Whole aquarium is great but make it a point to do the penguin experience!

Horrible - would give 0 if I could.
Oct. 2019 • Friends
Do not go to this aquarium. The fish are kept in such tiny, cramped conditions. Do not fund this. It was distressing to see, we had to leave after only 5 minutes.

Excellent aquarium on the waterfront
Aug. 2019
Generally very impressed with the exhibits of this aquarium. Lots of innovative ideas, the big tanks, the jellyfish, seeing the clown fish from below. Shop also had a good range of goods. A little disappointed with the penguin area, do they have successful breeding? Look at the penguin area at my local zoo - Cotswold wildlife park, UK.
However the big secret highlight, whilst watching the sunset over Table mountain at the back of the aquarium. There were platforms to support the wild seals , found in the harbour. This was provided by the Marine Biologists at the aquarium. I do not remember any promotion of this in the centre. Please pop along and see them, giving them the respect they deserve.

Aquarium experience
May 2019
My husband booked a shark experience in the big tank. Well worth the money to get up close to these magnificent creatures.

Unless you have very young kids I would give this place a miss
Apr. 2019 • Family
Myself, my 12 year old and a 4 year old went and we were very disappointed in this place. It wasn't cheap to get in and felt quite upset we had wasted our money. Some parts are good for the younger child but there isnt very much to see and we were all bored. We were expecting it to be as good as the one in Durban and it didnt even come anywhere close.
