- igmell0r00Fantastic Private Day TripWe had an amazing time on Vitamin Sea on our honeymoon in Bora Bora. We had an all female crew and they were so attentive and knowledgeable. An excellent day of sailing and luxury in the crystal clear waters of Bora Bora. We had a floating bar stop and then a snorkel and lunch at a private beach. Lunch was authentic and delicious and it was almost like noone was around. The perfect day.
- WhitePinesRealEstate00Bora bora sailing at its bestThe trip was amazing. Old racing sail boat. Never went that fast before. Thelma the captain was a private and ensured everything was perfect including the sunset. Haha
- LightPacker53051800The Best Catamoran ExperienceMy husband and I took the Vitamin Sea private sunset cruise. Thelma and Sandro were amazing. They were knowledgeable, telling us stories of the area, their own personal stories that were engaging. They were friendly and most importantly were incredible captain and crew. It's a beautiful, spacious boat and we would highly recommend it!
- Max18199000Fun times!Great trip around the island. Crew and boat were great! Hadn’t ever sailed before and it was cool to see the Captain in action.
- buckleytowsd00Vitamin Sea—A Must-Do Experience in Bora BoraIf ever you’re in Bora Bora, you must sail on one of Vitamin Sea’s Catamarans! It’s a must-do experience!!! Our Captain was from Marseille but knew all the best spots for skin diving. His sailing acumen was the highest. His first mate Paula was also accomplished and her floating bar in chest deep water in Bora Bora’s outer lagoon was marvelous. Vitamin Sea is a sailing experience you don’t want to miss!
- Brittny B00Special day out to sea!My husband and I spend a lovely morning with Vitamin Sea on their sailing and snorkeling trip in Bora Bora! It was so relaxing and got to explore the Coral Reef Garden and then floating drinks in the cove. We loved our special day with them and all the fun adventures and sights! Definitely worth a trip when you're in Bora Bora!
- Angel2112500This catamaran day trip is a must doOur day started around 9am on the Vitamin Sea catamaran! We were joined by our friends that we were vacationing with so that made the party 4. It was so very awesome that we got to experience this adventure with those we were close to and not strangers. Clement our Captain & first mate Amy were top notch! They provided snacks and Amy made a fab rum punch Tahiti style. They showed us the lagoon and we got to snorkel in “the aquarium” So many colorful fish! Our captain dove and caught a huge starfish. He was certified and highly trained! Felt safe with them both! My flipper came off and sank but he dove after it, found it and all was well again! We had lunch on a Motu prepared by the locals. It was a delectable lunch of BBQ marlin, chicken, rice, assorted vegetables, fruits, coconut bread, banana pudding and a local fish dish with coconut milk, cucumbers & onions. Everything was yummy. We choose to eat at a table that was partially in the water which was a new experience! The first mate served us a lovely Rose’ to go with our meal. We also had a choice of juices and water. After hanging out in the water and end the sunshine & company, we were taxied out to our catamaran and had a leisurely ride back to our resort. Thanks again, captain Clement & first mate Amy for an amazing adventure!!
- LoBee1200ExcellentMy husband and I had a blast doin this. We saw many sting rays and most epic views of the crystal clear water. I would do it again. The people were great administrating the excursion, and meeting other couple from around the world is fun as well.
- Andre792700Family Trip to Bora BoraWow wow wow!! We just finished our trip to Bora Bora and I must say this was the highlight!! Clement and Amandine were excellent and took us to some beautiful spots around the island! We are super grateful and thankful for the experience! Highly recommended!! 👍
- ralphg24300Good for couplesThe boat leaves from the St Regis hotel. Was a nice cruise around the lagoon. The couple running the boat are very friendly. They offered us some snacks and drinks. We saw some rays and a so so sunset.
- paulieburgess00Fabulous Bora Bora Sailing DayWe had a fantastic day on Vitamin Sea. The catamaran was first class and the crew of Clement and Amandine were tremendous. Really impressive how they handled the boat, very professional and very friendly. The snorkelling was impressive with Amandine showing us around and taking pictures. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I would highly recommend both the company and the crew!
- 881jarekk00Best attraction while in Bora BoraThis is one of the activities that you should book while staying in Bora Bora. You will spend a half day sailing a catamaran (just 8 ppl on board). You will visit beautiful lagoons where you can snorkel, have a floating lunch with drinks and fresh fruits. Fantastic pictures. Recommended for everyone.
- Ashley J00Relaxing, beautiful, and memorable experience! This was such a fun experience!! My husband and I had a 4 hour adventure on the boat. It included snorkeling, snacks, and drinks. This was such a relaxing and fun way to spend our honeymoon together. We both highly recommend this tour!
- Lisa66202300ExcellentNice and professional staff, Unforgettable activity. I don't swim then He took me swimming, I saw a lot of fish and beautiful coral,
- BAweatherman00No wind but fun anyway!Amy and Clemens (spelling? sorry!) led a great day, explaining wildlife, the boat, and facts about Bora Bora. There was little wind so the boat had to use it’s motor instead of the sail; however, aside from that, the half-day was excellent. The snorkeling area (they provided snorkels) was impressive, and the drinks/fresh coconuts via floating bar in the shallow waters later was a delight. Being sunscreen! It’s hot on the boat and you’ll burn more than you think.

We were picked up by David in a power boat from the main dock at the Conrad. Upon boarding we realized there were other guests from the property also on board which was a nice surprise. We went by two other properties and picked up an additional guest on our tour. We fortunately had a wonderful group of people and befriended those on the boat with us. The Captain and his first mate Pola were accommodating, kind & helpful. They ensured we were all good with snorkeling and offered floats if needed. Next we went to an area where we could stand and walk in the beautiful water. We were served refreshments and the Captain demonstrated how to open a coconut. We waded in the water and shared experiences before boarding the sailboat again and meandered back to the dock. There, David awaited us on his powerboat before taking us back to our properties. Would encourage anyone who loves the water, sun and fun to book it.

We booked the Vitamin Sea sight unseen directly through our hotel, just asking for a "catamaran day". It turned out to be the highlight of our honeymoon!
Candace and Nick made us feel right at home, and were deeply knowledgeable about Bora Bora, the culture, geography, and the ecosystems. They talked to us about the island formations as we sailed around the lagoon to a coral garden. Unlike some other snorkeling tours, they do not feed the fish, which I was very happy about.
Once you return to the boat, you head to a shallow part of the lagoon for homemade rum punch at a floating bar. It's an incredible photo opportunity and a truly surreal moment, standing in waist-deep water drinking a tropical drink in a beautiful place.
For us it was one of the pricier excursions, but it was worth every penny. Highly highly recommend Vitamin Sea, it was hands down the best day we had in Bora Bora!

We love this catamaran! It glides across the water, and it is so relaxing. We love the views! We like that is limited to eight passengers. Whether you want to snuggle up with your partner, be still in the moment to take it all in, or talk with others on the boat, you will enjoy it. The captain is very knowledgeable about the boat and he and his coworker do an excellent job at getting to know their guests. It was refreshing to get off the boat and hang out with others. The small little open bar with snacks was nice. We like the rum punch the most! It would be nice if there were a few more options for snacks and drinks. There is music on the boat, but it would be nice if they offered different types of music at times to change it up a bit. The snorkeling was great! There were others snorkeling when we arrived at our spot, so it was a little bit crowded, but we still saw many types of fish, coral and a huge eel. Heads up, there is no bathroom on board so wear a bathing suit and bring sunscreen! They provided towels and water. Hats will likely blow away, so hold on to them and bring an underwater camera. Great times!

We had a great time. Sailing on the catamaran was so beautiful. They picked us up at our resort, played music, provided refreshments and took care of the sailing. The scenery can't be beat!
The snorkeling spot was the best we saw during our 12 day trip across Tahiti, Moorea and Bora Bora. It was south of Pitiuu Uta, a small island off the southern coast of the main island. We were there long enough to explore so it didn't feel rushed. They pointed out a Moray eel and tried to find the resident octopus. They also fed the fish to help show us the variety. We stopped in a shallow bay to enjoy drinks and refreshments while soaking in the view, then headed back. It was seriously great!

Being on this catamaran was a lot of fun...I had only been on ordinary sail boats previously. There wasn't much wind the way we were out, so our speed wasn't much, but obviously that can't be controlled. The snorkeling wasn't great...not a lot of fish, and the water was really shallow at points, which made it hard. Floating bar was fun though...be sure to try the rum punch!
We also did the sunset cruise with them a few days later, which was fun and relaxing as well.

Hi and thank you kindly for taking the time to write a beautiful review,
Regarding the snorkelling, we just wanted to point out that we dont do any feeding as this has now been forbidden in French Polynesia, we focus more on the natural beauty of our island in respect of this environment. So unlike in feeding spots, the fishes are free to go around instead of being all concentrated were the food is dropped.
We also provide a great marine biology briefing regarding the coral reefs and marine life that guests get to encounter,
We hope to have the opportunity to take you out sailing again in paradise,
Thank you,
Kind regards,
nick

It was the last day of our 9 day honeymoon in Bora Bora and my husband's birthday....we could not have asked for a better way to end our trip!! I absolutely love sailing and this boat was very fast and very cool. The captains Alan and Arthur were fun, hospitable, and extremely knowledgable about the area. They introduced us to new marine life during the snorkeling portion of the day and set up a phenomenal water bar. We were in great hands and can't thank Bora Bora Sailing and Vitamin Sea enough for making our trip and birthday so special. Thank you!!!

Were picked up by speedboat & transported to the Catamaran at the dock of the Four Seasons resort. Met Clement (skipper), Amy & Alex (crew) before heading off to the snorkling site at the southern end of Bora Bora.
The Catamaran looked in good nick & was very spacious - plenty of room for 8 people. Towels & cushions were provided for sunbaking. Flippers & goggles were also available for use during the snorkling. But bring your own Suncream!
We had around 30-40mins swimming in the lagoon which was enough for that area. Lots of fish & coral but no sharks or rays. We did see a number of rays on the way back which was good.
Floating bar experience was devine, especially the Rum punch which went down a treat in the sun.
Didn't have the sails up for as much as I would have liked due to the wind, however, Clement did his best.
Crew were great & made sure we were all taken care of during the day. If I was going back, I think that I would take a whole day tour as you would be able to get in another spot for snorkling. Also, a lot of the morning was spent travelling to & from different locations.
Note: Keep your booking receipt as I had issues with their accounts dept requesting additional funds on top of what I was quoted. All sorted eventually.

Hi Rodney and thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback,
We are delighted to read that you truly enjoyed your experience and the effort from the crew,
I just wanted to point out we do not take our gests to snorkel with sharks and rays as those are feeding spots and we don't believe in feeding, we make an effort to be as green as possible.
There can be some time spent travelling from the st regis to the four seasons to pick up other gests but that would be about 15 minutes and is pretty much it. We have a lot of private tours available so that everything is tailored to your preferences. All the tours in Bora Bora pick up their gests in the diferent resorts, no other choice.
Finally, regarding the account issues you mention, i suppose you refer to the Booking fee (around 12 USD) that you did not see on the website. I apologize if this was not clear, though it is stated before you check out from the website, no surprise there, but we will make sure it more obvious in the future.
We hope to welcome you again sailing on a private full day tour maybe :)
Warm regards,
nick

What a fun experience this was! The snorkeling was fantastic, and the "swim up" beach bar was neat. The day started out pretty calm for wind, but, by the time we were headed back we had enough wind to sail all the way back. We had an amazing time, and highly recommend this excursion.

How deep is the place where snorkeling takes place?

Our tour included snorkeling near the sofitel private island. I would estimate the depth varied up to 15 feet. Some of the coral was only a couple feet under water.
