worth the experience
Fact is: Nature doesn’t care about tourists 😂. After 1,5 hour exhausting hiking we reached the top and saw nothing else than clouds. But at the end it doesn’t matter whether you could see the sunrise or not, it was absolutely worth doing it. We had a great guide who always motivated me with a kind „you can do it“, he really cared a lot that we get safe up and also down. For the record: Don’t forget to bring some warm cloth and a rain jacket otherwise you will freeze your ass off, on the top you have a strong wind mixed with drizzling rain. The locals up the there offer you blankets for rent for 50k 🙈

Amazing Adventure!
Great hike with an awesome view! Katut (our guide for the hike) was great bringing us up the hike at our desired speed and cooked us a lovely breakfast in the volcano itself!

Wonderful view for 1h hike
Hike to Mount Batur was fun. It took us 1h to get to the summit. Wonderful view on top. Pickup was at 3 am. Start hike was at 4 am. Tour finished around 9 am. I think everybody in good health can do the tour. You don’t have to be a sports junky. Our driver Arta was very friendly with good English. Arta also offered to go to Hot spring or coffee plantation.

The Experience Was Amazing
enjoyed the whole experience I would highly recommend this to other travellers, the transportation to and from each place was exceptional then when you got to each spot you were greeted with a warm welcome the whole experience was truly amazing , I forgot to mention the guide up the mountain went above and beyond his role very comforting.

Absolutely Amazing Trek
The mount Batur sunrise trek was absolutely amazing; our driver Arta, picked us up from Canggu at 1:30am and drove us to Mount Batur started point. We thought that our guide, rantia, was really patient and helpful, especially since I wasn’t the fastest walker, and we both engaged in good conversation with him, which was lovely. The climb took an hour and a half and was doable, even though I’m not particularly fit, but I would definitely suggest wearing trainers or hiking shoes. We loved seeing the monkeys come up from the crater to eat breakfast, and the view was genuinely so breathtaking; I would recommend this to anyone.

Amazing Mount Batur Sharing Group Trekking
The trek was amasing and the view was worth it!! Two breakfast was served, one before trekking at igloo glamping , the other one on the top of mount batur. Hiking guide rantia was very amiable in guiding and helping us up and down the volcano batur. Overall very good experience! The coffee plantation site is only for some coffee and drinks testing, plus souvenir buying, We show really a lot of coffee plants and so interested.

Best Sunrise Mount Batur Sharing Group
We had a amazing time Trekking We had a fabulous time hiking up Mt. Batur and ending the day at the Hot Springs. The scenery up top was breath taking and nothing beats soothing your tired legs then immersing yourself at the natural and picturesque hot springs situated by the lake. To top it off, our guide, Rantia and driver Jero Wi were exceptional and attentive to our family. This is a highly recommended service provider with dedicated staff that handled the entire excursion.

Totally worth it!!
Me and my friends had a verry nice Trip! The way up can be exhausting, but the view was totally worth it!! Our tour guide Katut is a verry friendly and nice person. He makes beautiful photos and he gave us all the time we needed. The breakfast was nice and gave us enough energy to climb around the rest of the Mountain. Great greetings to Katut, he made the best trip possible.

Efficient and helpful
Read alot about the sunrise tours but settled on this one and did not regret my decision. Kadek the driver arrived 5 mins early at our Ubud accommodation, 2.10am! And then he explained everything thoroughly before we arrived at Batur. Then it was Ketut's time to shine, our local guide who was just brilliant when going up and down, helping my girlfriend when she needed assistance on tricky bits and constantly making sure we were both okay. At the top he took photos and showed us the smoke coming out of the craters. He made a great experience even better. No complaints about the breakfast, you'll read 101 stories about bad experiences if you read too much like I did but this tour and getting Ketut as the guide, it was perfect.

Enjoyed the relaxed tour drives I had with Kadek. We went to all the must see sights which he figured out once I told him which sights I wanted to see. The food part was not the best as he brought us to the "safe" restos. As a "foodie" I was interested in local food. I do admit that it was probably more to the fact that one can't has to go to what is close to the sights so this is not a criticism of Kadek.

We were picked up in the morning by Arta, who was really friendly and made us excited for the day even though it was 2am!

Our guide was Katut and he was very caring and would check on how we were doing on our hike regularly (including holding our hands on the more difficult parts of the hike). He was also very patient and put in a lot of effort to make sure we had the best views, and is also an amazing photographer!

We then visited a coffee plantation to end the trip which was perfect for the end of the hike.

Would highly recommend this tour!

Stunning sunrise

A great way to experience the volcano. Our driver picked us up at 2am and took us quickly to meet our guide, Ketut. Ketut was patient and let us choose the pace, as we were groggy and more than a little grumpy! The hike is not that hard, but definitely harder at 3am. Bring layers as it is chilly before the sun rises. The dawn was exquisite though, and we even saw lightning from the top. Ketut really did the most with taking hundreds of photos of us in different spots, and worked hard to make sure we were safe and happy.

Great experience: our guide keduk was kind and accommodating. I had stomach pain going up and he was especially helpful in making me feel safe, allowing us to go at our own pace. Great guide and great driver on so many dimensions. Would totally recommend !

Great trip

Driver on time, very safe driving, kind, informative. Guide was good fun, flexible and reliable. We had a small group, very respectful. The breakfast was just what we needed; boiled eggs & banan. Coffee plantation at the end a great break in the drive back to Seminyak

Waited from 12:20am until 3:30am. Tried sending an email to the company for a confirmation and more precise pickup time, never got a response.Th e only information I had was an automated booking confirmation and downloadable ticket for the trip. Usually you'll get a more refined personal correspondence with a reasonable time frame for pick up. A vague 3 hour window to wait for a no call/no show is not acceptable.

This tour is the worst in Ubud!!!! We booked it more than one month before and they charged us instantly. The day of the tour, few minutes before to pick up us at hotel, they demanded to pay the double of the charge....With less than 24 hours you can no longer cancel, so you must choose between paying double what you paid to do the tour or not go and lose your money......They ruined my trip. Flee from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Ruben Mistook in ordering tour for this trip we have some tours option for Batur sunrise trekking and breakfast : 1.If The guest stay around kintamani / max 3km from the starting point, picked up by motorcycle, it is the cheapest price in this tour 2. The guest stay around ubud area, the price is more expensive than the tour option number 1 3.The guest stay around kuta, nusa dua, seminyak, sanur etc, the price is more expensive than the tour option number 2 4.The guest stay at the east, west and north bali, the price is most expansive on this tour this guest booked the tour number 1 but they stay at ubud area, they supposed to be book the tour number 2 and pay more expensive.On this situation our company ask for extra money because picked up location in ubud by car and far away from the volcano starting point.They supposed to be understand with situation but unfortunately they refused to pay and canceled all trips. We realized it was their fault, but we wanted to refund all the money they paid, and a few days ago we had returned all their money, but they did not understand our situation. Regards Bali kadek

Beautiful view, friendly staff

in my opinion a must when you visit Ubud. The view is breathtaking and an experience you don’t want to miss. Mangun, our driver, was really friendly and helpful. Our guide Kutuk too! The hike however, was quite challenging. You need shoes with a good profile, there are some parts on the treck which are quite slippery. It took us around 1h30min to get to the top with breaks.
We knew it would be cold, but we underestimated it. Make sure, you have long pants and a warm jacket with you. They sell at the top overpriced blankets.
The breakfast we received was cute and much needed after the challenging hike.
Also be aware: there is only on toilet for everyone. Have some tissues and disinfectant with you.

We loved it. My new wife and I had the best time ever. Guide katut was incredible and kind and took all our photos for us including the amazing ive attached below. He was amazing and made the trip for us! The guys picked us up from very far away and right on time, got us there and back without much issue. Then a hard trek up the volcano for us was made much easier by katut being so patient and helpful. The views at the top were sensational, had a lovely breakfast up there and even had someone making hot chocolate (well worth £2.50) then got us down through the farms and sampled some local chilli and tomatoes as we went through. Such a humbling experience and one we will never forgot. Many thanks to these guys who made this possible. Dont hesitate, book this! From Andy & Beth

Beautiful Sunrise

We ( my son and I ) were very Happy with the trip to Mt. Batur, when we eventually did it! We were not picked up the first night as planned, But Got another night arranged! We were Happy with our driver Mangun, who picked us up exactly at the time planned and drowe well up/ down, despite a lot of traffic on the Way back.
Also our guide Ketut we were Happy with. He was very attendant, if everybody could manage the speed ,climbing, took breaks, took photos and on the top showed us the steam wholes in the mountain! A great experience - but cold on the top!
