Overview
Explore Ketchikan and its surroundings by a battery-powered electric bike on this ecotour. Head off from the marina along the paved bike path to the Tongass National Forest. Trek through the wilderness passing salmon-filled streams, a waterfall, and amazing views of the landscape filled with Alaskan wildlife.
What to Expect

Explore the lush Alaskan rain forest in this small-group tour with a maximum of six people, perfect for cruise ship passengers. Maximize your port time by combining multiple activities on this dual e-bike and hiking tour.

Using an electric bike, head along Ketchikan’s paved bike path to the trailhead. Electric bikes can cover more distance and are much more fun than traditional bicycles, making the journey much easier. This leaves you with plenty of energy for the hike through Tongass National Forest.

After mounting your bike, head into the lush rain forest of Southeast Alaska, which receives more than 200 inches (508 centimeters) of rain each year. Explore the flora and fauna of the area, including salmon filling the streams and deer roaming the forest. There’s even a chance to see porpoises, seals, sea lions, and even humpback whales from the beach on the way back to the port or your hotel.

Electric Bike and Hike

Love this company! Tim did a great job of teaching us how to ride an e-bike. We had a great hike and learned a lot about the rain forest. Pretty cool. Tim was amazing! We would love to come back and do the kayak excursion!

I found this excursion when researching things to do with our points! I booked directly through their website to ensure I had the 8AM time slot since our ship has a short port call in Ketchikan. Their office was a short walk from the ship...More

Our cruise ship tour was cancelled by the cruise line and so we found out about these guys through Trip Advisor. Not your typical tour as the ratio of guests to guide is 6:1. We met at their office in Ketchikan where we were greeted...More

This is a really fun way to spend a half day in Ketchikan! The owner, Devon, was cheerful and excited about the tours. We went by van to where the bikes were stored near the water and our guide Tim showed us how to use...More

I didn’t see anything like this. But you might want to contact the provider to see if it can be provided. But the hike is maybe 1 1/2 hours. And may not be suitable for a 4 year old.
