Equipment - helmets and ATV were old, broken and dirty. Trip is listed to begin at 2:30pm but nothing started until 3pm. Then as the group was ready to leave after receiving instructions and safety discusson, 2 late arrivals showed up and we are forced to wait again so late arrivals could receive details. Upon return it was nearly dark. Only one staff member seemed to care - while the rest were detatched and disinterested. Recommend you find a different, more professional vendor.

Amazing trip guided by Andreas today! The weather was overcast and drizzly at times but that didn’t keep us from having a great time. Fun and adventurous ride for a teen, his mom, and his grandparents. Highly recommend!

We had a blast on this ATV tour. Our guide, Andres, was wonderful!. He led us through, stopped several times for photo ops and shared info on the area and ecosystem surrounding us. We really enjoyed our facial!! The course was fun and was good for beginners and experienced riders.

So much fun! 😀 Great driving in the mud and then really great view of the volcano. Amazing guides and good tracks to have fun driving in!

The guide was extremely annoyed to be there which did not help to make the experience enjoyable. He did not explain much about the history or nature of the place like I saw in other comments. He rushed us in every stop and was talking on the phone on our way back not paying attention to the people that were following him. The tour in general is fun but I don’t feel like it was worth what I payed for.

We booked our tour through the hotel, Arenal Observatory Lodge. Transportation was setup and approximately 10 min from hotel. It was a good course with mud, dips, bumps, and hills. We have a 13 and 11 yr old. They had a good time. We weren't there for much else besides a good time on the ATVs. Everyone was extremely pleasant and friendly. Would highly recommend. Recommend boots and pants.

During our time in La Fortuna we went on many tours. All of our other guides were kind and enthusiastic throughout our time there. Our Original Arenal ATV tours was the exception. From the beginning our guide was disinterested and lacked kindness and enthusiasm. He was on his cell phone for almost the entirety of the tour. When I got stuck 2 times he was irritated and annoyed while helping me. Also the speed of the tour was very slow. Lastly, I saw one worker shove a horse very hard and another worker hit a dog so hard with an ATV helmet that it yelped loudly. The dog was just standing in the group of tourists not doing anything. I was extremely disappointed by this tour company and would not recommend.

Pickup from hotel was fast and easy. Advanced communication was helpful. ATVing was a lot of fun for the whole family. Highly recommend.

Andres was a lovely guide. Very accommodating for our group and very fun during the ride. It was a simple ride - nothing crazy - but the horses were well behaved and the location was stunning with beautiful views of Arenal. They picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel - the whole thing was about 2.5 hours from pickup to drop off and would recommend for a nice leisurely day with some great views.

This tour was great. Andres was very friendly and careful. My children enjoyed ATVing, it was somewhat muddy, but not too terrible. I wish it would have been a little faster, but we were a big group and understandably Andres had to wait for all of them. One of my daughter’s ATV did not work correctly, she got scared because she was going down too fast. Luckily, she was able to move out of the way, did not get hurt and Andres switch the ATV immediately for her.

An absolute must do! The trails traversed through the jungle and countryside with spectacular views of the volcano. The ride was easy enough for a novice to ATV’s but also exciting for someone who is more experienced. We lucked out as it was just me and my 17 yr old so we got a private tour. The guide was amazing and took the time to stop for pictures and pointed out wildlife along the way. Expect to get wet and muddy, but that was kind of the fun part. We were picked up from our hotel promptly and dropped back afterwards.

Andres was our guide. Since we were doing this tour during the rainy season the mud puddles were ginormous and a blast to speed through! The tour was good, and I loved the volcanic ash mud mask (spa day with ATV ride - heck yeah!). I wish we would have been able to see some wild life but we really didn't stop much. The only thing I wish is that they had a photographer that would take pictures while we went through the puddles that we could buy at the end. These experiences are for my son and I to make memories and we love the pictures to remind us how awesome it was!

Best ATV tour that I have ever taken . Now on the must do list when we have friends down. The scenery was beautiful. The ATVS were well maintained.

This was so much fun! Our 14, 12, and 9 year old loved it! The trails are a blast! Our guide took us all over the place! I'm so glad we did this. Our guide found two sloths so we got some good videos. It really was one of my favorite things!
