    What to Expect
The afternoon adventure begins with pickup at your La Fortuna hotel and a 45-minute drive to Arenal Volcano National Park. Arrive at the Arenal Observatory Lodge & Spa, a beautifully landscaped resort that was originally built as a scientific research station and offers commanding views of the nearby volcano and Arenal Lake.

After this panoramic perspective, get a closer look at the area’s flora and fauna with a hike through the surrounding gardens and rain forest. Along the guided trek, pass two hanging bridges and admire the flowing currents of the Danta River and a tropical waterfall. Learn about the area’s diverse ecosystem and fascinating geologic history from your guide, who will help you spot native wildlife such as monkeys, exotic birds, and red-eyed tree frogs. Back at the lodge, dig even deeper into the ancient history of the volcano at the Arenal Observatory Museum, and watch a memorable sunset over Lake Arenal from the viewing deck.

Finish the day with pura vida–style relaxation courtesy of a soak and swim in a naturally heated river pool. Detox with a volcanic mud facial if you wish, and unwind with a cocktail. After about an hour here, return to your La Fortuna hotel in the evening.

All on time. Fun enthusiastic guides. Stunning scenery and jungle walk to waterfall. Beware steep steps up and down and you need rubber shoes to wade across riverbed of stones. Then simple but adequate lunch and on to jungle walk with our guide Santiago who was like Mowgli in

We started with spending some time at the Observatory look out where you can see some great views and our guide Anthony was enthusiastic to take some good pictures of us. We then went to the museum/info part of the hotel where you can see information about some animals and

Even though the weather wasn’t great and we couldn’t see the volcano the tour was awesome thanks to our guide, Santiago, and the driver Johnathan who made it so fun ! Great experience for a good price

Very poor information, extremely disappointing tour. We were taken on a drive to the entrance of Arenal Park. We walked up and down and through the forest. The only thing we saw was a citronella tree, although the jungle was lovely. We were allowed to walk on the deck of the

Summarizing.. You walked through a lovely park with our guide but unfortunately there weren't to many animals that day and it rained somewhat. We gave you coffee from a thermo and a cocktail from a cooler in the natural hotsprings. This does sounds like the tour we do and most people like. Sometimes the weather is better sometimes we see more animals, both are things we can´t control. If your complaint would have been about the quality of work of our guide, a failure in logistics or about the place where go for the hike (iow things I should be able to control) then I would apologize for it and use your criticism to seek improvement. The things we do and the places we go to are clearly described in all promotional texts and customer reviews. These days it is easy to investigate online in case you are not sure if it´s something you´d enjoy. The natural hotsprings for instance have over a 1000 reviews in this forum. If you wouldn´t have minded to pay an extra $50 (doubling the price of the experience) you could have gone to one of fancy resorts that are available in Fortuna. I do think that is would have been your best option.

Fun Trip.We started out at the Arenal Observatory, with a great view of the volcano. Then we hiked a bit to a waterfall, and around near the volcano. The guide pointed out wildlife and plants. Afterwards, we stopped at the hot river - what a blast. There were few people now, at
