About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- matthew_w1965a0 contributionsBreathtaking Tour of RajastanHad a 'once in a lifetime' custom made trip put together by Vishal at Ecstatic India for just over 2 weeks in February. Started our adventure in Jaipur then followed the 'Silk Route' north and west to Bikaner then south to Narlai and Udaipur. Every day was amazing with highlights being the Desert Festival in Jaisalmer and the Leopard safari in Narlai. Udaipur also was fabulous and worth spending a number of days. Would highly recommend this company and Vishal for their great customer service, suggestions and the package that they put together for us.Written 3 March 2020
- Raksha1000 contributionsHoliday in IndiaAwesome service, hospitality and care. We were provided assurances and guarantees that were indeed met without reservation. Thank You! RakshaWritten 26 February 2020
- Felixinho200 contributionsAmazing experience in RajasthanWe travelled 18 days througout Rajasthan and had a wonderful experience. The whole trip was organized by Vishal Sharma from Ecstatic India Tours in a very professional and loving way. From A to Z we felt in very good hands. This trip would not have been the same without the support from this company. Their 24/7 availability during the preparation and execution of the trip is unbeatable. We have never met a company that answered requirements so quickly. Vishal was always available for us, caring about us and made sure we were well and fair treated throught the whole trip. From the beginning on we felt welcomed and all our personal desires have been exceeded. This is a very flexible an trustworthy company with fair prices and high engagement. We would like to return to India anytime and surely with Ecstatic India Tours. Highly recommended tour operator! Vishal, thanks again for everything!Written 23 February 2020
- Lainelow0 contributionsFantastic tour of RajastanJust come back from a wonderful 3 week tour of Rajistan organised by Vishal from Ecstatic India. Vishal organised our trip to India last year so we know how good this company is & we highly recommend them. We work with Vishal to pick the hotels that suit us (heritage) and he gives us great recommendations regarding routes to follow/things to see. Our highlights were leopard safari at Rawla Narlia, where we saw 2 leopards in clear view (and Rawla is stunning) and the Jaisalmer Desert festival – the most amazing sights highlighting Rajastan culture that you could possibly see. Vishal gave us an Indian SIM card on arrival so that we could keep in touch throughout our trip and this was invaluable. He joined us on our 1st leopard safari which was very exciting. Throughout our trip we were so appreciative of Ecstatic India checking in that things were going well. With this company you will get a very personal and caring service.Written 20 February 2020
- TessT10 contributionsWonderful trip, highly recommendWe had a fantastic time on this trip. All very easy and straight forward to organise -mostly communicating with Vishal via WhatsApp. We were met at the airport as arranged and then looked after and taken good care of for the next 5 days. We were able to relax, sit back and enjoy the trip with confidence. Our driver was excellent and made us feel safe. All the guides were professional and knowledgeable. The hotels and restaurants were all great, well chosen and no one got ill! Four of us travelled together, first time in India, and we all agreed that this was an ideal way to have an introduction to northern India. Vishal even met us in Jaipur to make sure we were having the best experience with his company. If we return to India one day, we will use this company without hesitation.Written 19 February 2020
- ubhayp0 contributionsHighly recommend!Thank you for making our tour a breathtaking one. First time traveling to India and choosing you guys was the best decision we made! Extremely professional and very efficient. Would recommend.Written 15 February 2020
- Jasmin C0 contributionsAmazing TripI can say that the time spent in India was amazing due to the personalized tour and my driver Baba. After many, many emails due to me changing my mind the company provided me with a tour package that suited my needs and my short time in India. We had 5 star hotels which were beautiful. The driver was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The company always reached out during my time to ensure that I was enjoying my stay and to make see if I needed anything, which we did not. The tour guides were funny, knowledgeable and accommodated all of my silly requests such as seeing a snake charmer. I would recommend this tour company to anyone as they are highly professional.Written 11 February 2020
- Soumaya-Reda0 contributionsBelated rating (nov2018)- A good introduction to India for first timers - Also known as Heritage India Tour and TravelsA lot of things to say about this company! If you have one thing to take from my review it's: If you want to visit India for the first time then you can definitely hire them. The service is generally good and they're really helpful but we think some things can be improved so here comes the long version of the review: We toured north India for 10 days in mid-nov 2018 (Delhi,Agra,Fatehpur Sikri (on the road to Jaipur), Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ranakpur (on the road to Udaipur) and Udaipur). 1) BOOKING: VERY GOOD We found the company on Tripadvisor highly rated. Our main contact was Dinesh. Compared to other companies, he did not harass us every day with messages to hard sell us their services. He answered our questions and helped us tailor our trip. He added some suggestions along the several exchanges we had (13) and never pushed us to choose anything. Once the trip proposed was finalized, we had several hotel options on which the price depended (3, 4 or 5 stars hotels). We chose the 4 stars, driver and tour guides for each city. 2) HOTELS: GOOD Let's say that before approving the last proposition of the company we searched for each hotel ratings in booking.com and tripadvisor. On the 5 hotels, only one was bad rated : the Picadilly hotel in Delhi (rated 5.8). We didn't want to take it and asked Dinesh to change it but he assured us that he never had any complains from his previous customers.. well let's just say that (as always and based on our experience) booking.com rarely get it wrong. The hotel was bad, really...the bathroom was not clean at all even if the bedroom was well maintained, the service was slow, the receptionists were not nice enough and the cuisine wasn't a plus even if it was a buffet. Plus, as they rent their space for weddings (with the noise that goes with it) you can notice that regular customers are not their priority . I would not advise to choose it even if it is 3 seconds from the metro station. The other hotels were good, the service great and the rooms really nice. A special mention for Jodhpur and Udaipur hotels: really charming and beautifully set. A really good memory of those and their service. 3) DRIVER: GOOD Santos was great. Very helpful.. always on time and funny. He helped us checking in hotels, gave us some advice along the journey and was very patient regarding any of our queries. Unfortunately he had a personal matter to take care of 3 days before the end of our trip so the tour team had to hire another company driver. This one did not speak english at all which would not have been a problem if he was helpful. We had the impression that he cared more about his car than about giving us a proper ride. He was driving quite dangerously (phone, speed limit, you name it..) and his manners were not aligned to the level of service expected. He was replaced once we called the agency about him for our last day with Hashish who was perfect and managed to get us on time at the airport even if there was an incident on the road that stopped the traffic to the airport. He found a small road that was not even in the GPS to bypass the issue and get us to destination with enough time ahead of us to take a coffee. We also found great that our drivers were always in contact with the agency persons who made sure to follow every step of our trip and to make sure that we were happy and that the service met our expectations. Which lead to the next point. 4) THE AGENCY REACTIVITY: VERY GOOD We had 3 issues during our trip and we must say that Dinech and his team... were really helpful. First: our hotel in Jodhpur wasn't the one we agreed on. When we arrived, we found that Dinesh changed our booking. My husband was not happy about that because first they did not tell us about this before hand even if they assured us that we were upgraded. Then, as the hotel was new the gym was not finished yet. My husband who likes to exercise everyday had made sure before we agreed on the price to check that the first days of the trip would be in hotels where he could work out. It can seem a detail which it is undoubtedly but still.. when you pay and agree on a prestation you do not like it changed without notice. The agency apologized, explained that there has been a problem in the booking and offered us a dinner in any city of our choice for the next days. That was nice but what made us happy was not the dinner really but their reactivity when we tried to reach them, the fact that they apologized without trying to avoid the problem and that they also tried to see if we wanted to change the hotel for the next day which was not an option (tiring and in fact apart from the missing gym the hotel was ok) The second problem, the guide in Pushkar. It was a holy day and there were a lot of pilgrims that day which is quite normal. Our problem was that as soon as we arrived the guide was more like "there are a lot of pilgrims.. it will be difficult to visit. Are u sure u want to do that? I do not know, if i were you maybe i'll think about it... etc.." and we really did not feel that he wanted to show us anything. I mean if you are a guide of a holy city and you know in advance that you'll have tourists coming you can clearly prepare yourself to welcome them and maybe not show them the places where it is really crowded and where they can be a bother for the pilgrims but show them something else like the camel fare and the city as a hole as well as the bazaar etc, you can also just talk about the history of the religion, why people are coming from all the regions around on that week.. bref, you can do your job and adapt as nor the holy week nor the tourists were a surprise in your program. Maybe you are thinking, you should have told him so.Yes, we could have but we did not want to insist with someone who did not seem really into it and as we did not want to force him to go in what he called the craziness.. knowing that anyway he was clear about the fact that we will go there alone.. so why go in one of the biggest temple of a holy city on a holy day without someone to explain to us everything we see .. we would only have been a bother to the people who were there for spiritual reasons. We did not feel that it was right.. again just a personal opinion but really we think he could have been more prepared instead of just insisting on us keeping our money safe like 5 times and that there are a lot of people like 20 times and that it is not a good day like 50 times.. i wanted to say so why did u bother coming? But as the driver saw us coming back after 10 min, he called the agency who asked him to drive around the camel fair so we can see something.. that was again a good and nice reaction. The third problem was the crazy driver but as said above they changed it as soon as we called them explaining all the problems we faced with him (in less than 8 hours..the problems) 5) THE TOUR GUIDES: AVERAGE for History lovers. If you love History and know how to read, you do not need tour guides in each city. Some of them don't give you more information than what you can read in the different tourist docs in the museums and monuments. Plus you have to tip them every time for non adding value for some of them. I think that the one that we really liked were the ones that in our opinion had an added value for us as tourists (Daljit in Delhi... he was really passionate about how the different religions were coexisting in the city. We visited the sikh temple he loved the most and he was passionate about it . We spent the day with him and he showed us almost everything we wanted to see. Dilip and Kuldeep in Jaipur and Jodhpur were really friendly and knowledgeable. Ali in Fatehpur sikri was funny and had a lot of Bollywood anecdotes to share. Those were the more knowledgeable and they seemed to love their job hence they were the one we tipped the most without thinking twice. Pushkar in Udaipur was helpful as he saved us some time (as did the others but again in Udaipur we did a lot of walking vs the other cities where the driver dropped us directly in front of the monuments/museums). And we think that this was his plus as a tour guide. 6) TIPS & COST: GOOD I feel that globally the price was fair. But you have to include the tips in your equation. We live in the UK but we are Moroccans so we did tip using our Moroccan insight as our country is quite touristic and we know that the advised tip is usually proposed using an European scale which is really really high vs the local one. The paper we received at our arrival advised us to give globally between 700 and 1000 roupies of tip depending on if it is a guide or a driver and you have to multiply that by the number of days you spend with the person. We did not follow that advice as we found it (and this is just a personal opinion) irrelevant. A tip should be calculated depending on your personal financial mean, the quality over time of the service you've been provided and the average wage in the country you visit unless of course the tips are officially stated like in London where it is generally 12.5% in restaurants etc... As we think that a tip should not be a wage. We did tip the tourist guides between 200 and 1100 roupies depending on the quality of the service provided and we did feel this was fair as we did not like the idea of tipping when the service was not good (the guide in Pushkar city cf above). We tipped the drivers higher as it was a multiple day service. We tipped every time and always at the end of the service respecting the customs. Do not hesitate to ask us for the prices if needed. We will be happy to answer that in private. Well that was a long comment but we wanted to tell what we would have liked to know.. hope it was helpful! And good trip to India 😊 Again, we advise you to go with Ecstatic India Tours/ Heritage India Tour and travels!Written 9 February 2020
- komalkp930 contributionsImpressive, extremely efficient and reliable!Planning my trip to India with my parents and aunt was probably the most nerve wrecking thing I have had to do. With a heavy budget limitation, barely any knowledge about the places we intended to visit and 3 adults between the ages of 57-70 to look after, I was in constant panic until a friend recommended the services of this company. Vishal is nothing short of amazing. I literally changed my itinerary every third day or week because my parents would want something added or deleted, not even once did Vishal hesitate and would send me a revised copy in less than an hour. Not only that, he would also suggest alternative options which were far greater than what we could have imagined. He is extremely polite, welcoming and will never escalate prices for the sake of making profit. I can guarantee that. It honestly felt too good to be true and I was in constant worry how the actual trip would go. Happy to say, I am left beyond amazed and a bit surprised at how Vishal managed to organize everything so perfectly, with the budget he had. Our hotel rooms were always clean, had great views and efficient services. The car he provided us with was clean and comfortable. The thing that struck me the most about Vishal and the services his company provides was that he would take a personal interest to make sure our stay was comfortable. Every request was met in an efficient manner and would even go above and beyond for us. If you would like to visit India and truly experience its magnificence, I would recommend Vishal's company, infact I keep recommending it to my friends, family and colleagues.Written 4 February 2020
- 730SusanS0 contributionsWonderful personalized itinerary and great serviceThis was an excellent and well-arranged tour and so glad that I chose Estatic Tours from Trip Advisor reviews. My tour was arranged by Vishal Sharma and he provided excellent service throughout the entire process. We had a complicated plan with different arrivals dates that were no problem for Vishal. He organized our trip to Varanasi first which was excellent. We had a great driver and quide and well-chosen hotel. We then flew back to Delhi where we were met with our driver Baba who took excellent care of us for the next week. After dropping us at the hotel, he returned to meet our daughter (20) who was flying in on a delayed flight. Both Baba and Vishal stayed in contact with me till midnight when she was located and brought to our hotel. I have never worked with agents more concerned about making things go safely and smoothly. Ecstatic India Tours (affiliated with Heritage India Tours) provided a very nice mini-van style vehicle that was comfortable for our travels. A guide was provided in each city that we visited. They were all knowledgable and good English. They were all also exceptional photographers who knew all the best spots and happy to take pictures. We had great hotels, good restaurant choices and everything was on our own schedule. We added Ranthambore to our itinerary and glad we did. We decided while we were there to add another night and Vishal and his brother helped us plan a great experience at Alila Fort. I had compared many different tours before choosing this one based on cost and ability to personalize. Also, this tour included many activities that were additional in other tours. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make sure that we were having a great time. I highly recommend and would definitely use them again if we return to India.Written 1 February 2020
- Russlynch0 contributionsExcellent tour arranged by VishalWe had a great 14 day tour of Rajasthan with a wonderful driver, Satendra. It was varied, with visits to the forts and palaces of the cities, staying in quality hotels, some, in paricular, the havelis, with a distinctive Indian decor and atmosphere. Vishal arranged everything very efficiently, including some internal flights, as we spent an additional 5 days in Goa. We left a smartphone in a hotel and Vishal arranged for it to be delivered to another city further on in our itinerary. This reflects the excellent support we were given during our stay. I can thoroughly recommend Vishal and his company. Rathambore park is a must too, to try to see tigers. We also visited Delhi and Agra.Written 30 January 2020
- Dilly_Kat0 contributionsWonderful first trip to IndiaWe had a great holiday, organised through Vishal, who was very responsive through the booking process, and tailored an itinerary to meet our needs, including all the hotels we wanted. Vishal even changed our itinerary within 10 minutes when we decided we wanted to stay an extra day in one place during the trip. Travelling with my mum, this was definitely the stress free option for India - picked up from the airport and looked after start to finish. Our driver Veer was excellent and really went above and beyond to make sure we were having the best experience at all times. The guides were all very good and knew their stuff, especially Vinod in Jaipur, who was also a great personality. You do get the inevitable sell to visit ‘authentic’ shopping places at the end of the tours - but no-one was pushy if we politely declined. Just accept this is part of the deal, and don’t be offended! The food was really good, even though we ate a lot at more touristy and expensive restaurants - but to be fair, we weren’t unwell the whole trip, so that was the upside! This isn’t the kind of tour to get the really authentic India experience (book a flight and bring your backpack for that!) but to stay in lovely hotels, great hospitality, see amazing sights, and have a stress free holiday! We loved it, and would definitely book with the company again if travelling to India 👍Written 12 January 2020
- Johnny J0 contributionsExcellent 4 days Golden Triangle tour of IndiaExcellent 5 stars Golden Triangle tour with Pushpandra Sharma. He was very professional and hands on and helped us feel at ease through out the tour. We had a party of six and he was there the whole time helping us with everything. He was professional and the hotels were wonderful. We highly recommend his tour and his company for the 5 stars service and tours. Johnny and friends from USA, Canada, and Hong Kong.Written 10 January 2020
- alex_s_nyc0 contributionsA dozen places in 3 weeks!Great planning and execution by Shailendra of a massive 3 week cross-country trip in October 2018. Also a HUGE shootout to my driver and brother Baba for getting us all over the Golden Triangle safely and smoothly!Written 18 December 2019
- loice5520 contributionsCustom made, Efficient and qualityOur 5 days experience was very good and we have managed to see all what was expected (except the Tigers in Ranthambore that were shy on that day - we recommend to go to zone 3 and 6 as we have heard these are the zones with great chances to see tigers - we were in zone 8 and 10) Our driver Ashok was great and speaks very good English. His mini van was always clean and he was always on time to every meetings. This is a trip we recommend for short period of time in this region of India. The pace is quite high as you are one the move every day but this ensure you make the most of your 5 days with peace of mind. Lelya and LoicWritten 2 December 2019

Jan 2015 • Solo
As a solo woman travelling to India for the first time, I was a bit nervous about the journey. I was in Delhi for a conference and wanted to do some solo side excursions on the margins of the conference. Based solely upon the reviews on Trip Advisor, and the email exchanges with Dinesh Singh and Pushpendra Sharma, I decided to choose Ecstatic India.
Dinesh and Pushprendra were extremely accommodating to what felt like a constant stream of changes to the itinerary, including not being able to finalize the booking until the very last minute due to extenuating circumstances. I ended up doing a one-day tour of Delhi before the start of the conference and then a three-day trip to Agra and Jaipur at the end of the conference. I had the same driver for all of the trips. He was polite and punctual, though did not speak English.
In each place, we picked up a different tour guide (for a total of 4 guides throughout the journey).
Three out of four of my guides were very good (my guide in Fatehpur Sikri, however, was very rushed and did not explain to me why we weren’t going to the Buland Darwaza as planned, which was apparently due to bee issues). The standout, however, was definitely Sher Singh in Jaipur. I cannot say enough good things about him. He was a true historian, incredibly knowledgeable, in love with his city, and so so so accommodating towards me and what I wanted to see and do (as well as not do: shopping).
I took the 5-star hotel options, and each included breakfast, which was quite appreciated.
For what I got, I think the price couldn’t have been better. I would recommend this group to anyone going to India who wants a reasonable and respectable tour company. In fact, I recommended them to a fellow conference participant who also used them on a day-trip to Agra and he was very pleased as well.

My Girlfriend and I did a tour of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Manohar at Ecstatic India Tours was very helpful in making a program that still provided a lot to see and do while working with the schedule we had for flights in and out of Delhi. We were provided a range of pricing options which included a variety of hotel options to be included with the package. We booked the 4 star package and it worked great. All of the hotels were very nice and clean and were situated in nice areas. Our driver Baba specifically made the trip amazing as we spent lots of time with him driving between the various locations and cities. He took extra time to make sure we were well cared for everywhere we went and took particular care to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. During the tour if we needed a restroom or food break he would make sure that we stopped somewhere that was clean and comfortable for a woman and provided quality service. The tour for us included English speaking guides at the various sites we went to visit and each guide was better than the next. Unfortunately I am writing this a few weeks late but I really wanted to promote the guide from the Jaipur fort and the guide we had in Delhi. They provided cultural insights as well as history of the buildings and surrounding areas and really got us excited about each of the locations. Overall I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to do a tour in India.

Just got back from India with Ecstatic India Tours. It was superb. We started planning our trip in February 2015 using frequent flyer miles for the air travel. We searched the internet then for a land package and narrowed our search to a couple of Indian tour companies. We laid out of desires, with a long list of questions, and gave it to both companies to see how they'd respond. Ecstatic India (with Dinesh Singh and Pushpendra Sharma) responded quickly, and answered all our questions honestly and accurately. We didn't just didn't do the Delhi/Agra/Jaipur triangle. We wanted to go to the Pushkar Camel Festival and to Udaipur, and then fly from Udaipur to Kathmandu. Dinesh worked with us all the way. Our dates changed a couple of times, and he quickly updated the tour plan. We screwed up once and booked our travel wrong and he quickly worked things out for us to adjust our tour to fit. In the end, Delta Airlines changed some of our flights and it allowed us to readjust our arrival and departure times, and with about a month left before departure, Dinesh again adjusted our tour. And then on November 14, we finally arrived in India. It took 2 hours to get through immigration (even with an eVISA) and our driver (Mukesh) was still waiting patiently just outside the arrival area with a large sign with our names on it. He was the most pleasant, courteous, safe driver we could have imagined. He was with us the entire 9 days. He had a very nice vehicle, he opened the door all the time for my wife, and it was just the two of us from Utah, our driver (Mukesh), and then a guide at times in the different cities. It allowed us to go at our own pace (sometimes slow and sometimes fast), to leave earlier or later if we desired, to stop at a fruit market if we wanted or to take a picture of an interesting person, etc. He even spent an hour driving us around to find our LDS church on a Sunday morning in Delhi. There is nothing to say bad about this company. We spent two nights in Delhi (and a day sightseeing in Delhi), then drove to Agra and saw the Taj Mahal that afternoon. The guide there was great. The next morning we drove to Ranthambore for two nights and went on two safaris, and saw a beautiful tiger at close range for several minutes with a great guide there, then to Jaipur for two nights, and we had another good guide. Then we went to Pushkar for the Camel Festival and spent two nights in air-conditioned tents that were incredible, including our own toilet and shower facility attached to our huge tent with a king bed, carpets on the floor, and A/C and heater. Dinesh originally questioned if we really wanted to spend 2 nights in Pushkar. We insisted. In the end, one night may have been enough, but it was our decision to stay for two, and we really enjoyed it. Last, we spent a night in Udaipur before leaving for Kathmandu the next morning. We had planned for boat ride to the the lake palace, but a wedding was occurring (nothing Dinesh could do about that) and the company bought us a nice dinner that night to compensate us. They were fair with us all around. They delivered as promised. I can easily recommend them. Feel free to ask me any questions.

We just got back from a 2 week trip first trip to India. Thank you Ecstatic India tours for a fantastic holiday. Although We are used to travelling independently I was a bit sceptical about India but these guys know what they are doing. I was impressed with their organising , punctuality and efficiency in dealing with all our requests and questions. I m saying this having worked in the travel industry myself so sometimes I m hard to please. Dinesh handled our itinerary which included Delhi Agra Jaipur and Varanasi . He made the bookings for all the 5 star hotels I requested. In Varanasi he suggested a different hotel from what I ve asked him. I didn't listen to him and I regretted it. So trust them they know their job. Varanasi is not for the faint hearted and hotel choice is limited.
At the start of our trip there was a mix up with our hotel reservation in Delhi but Dinesh sorted it out quickly and efficiently eventhough it was the shangri la hotel s fault and not their own.
When we arrived in Delhi we had a small afternoon tour of this big beutiful and chaotic city but we were very pressured by our guide to go to a carpet shop that we were not interested . He did not tell us that it was a carpet shop . He reffered to it as a place to see Kasmiri art. We ended up waisting 3 hrs there most of it spent in delhi s crazy traffic. Was not very happy and were very tired also after a longhaul flight. On our return to the hotel we told Dinesh and Pushpendra and they assured us that wouldn't happen again. And it didn't , after that everything went like a clock. Pushpendra also made sure that we got another guided tour of Delhi when we returned to Delhi again after Jaipur Agra and Varanasi . This is how I judge their professionalism and I give them 5 stars for their response.
The drivers of the company are all polite panctual and well presented.
For most of our journey we had Jeetu . What a gentle , calm and sweet guy he was!!!
We also had Baba for our last 2 days in Delhi . Sweet overprotective Baba who looked after us like family .
I was meeting my friend at CP and she was late so baba refused to leave us alone in CP till she showed up an hour later. He walked with us around CP till my friend came and he "handed us over" .
All Pushpendra s guides ( with the exception of the first one in Delhi ) were knowledgeable and nice. Sam in Jaipur , Bitu in Agra were excellent and both of them great photographers . The Varanasi guide was just ok. Maninder our guide in Delhi towards the end of our tour was such a great fun to be with .He showed us parts of real old Delhi and took us to places that would not have otherwise gone to experience real life in Delhi. Great fun.
If it's your first trip to India don't hesitate to use them. These guys know their job and they take pride in doing in. We left India with the fondest of memories and we hope to return next year.
Thank you all at Ecstatic India tour for an unforgettable experience!

Ecstatic India organized a wonderful tour for four of us through Delhi-Agra-Ranthambhore-Jaipur-Udaipur and back to Delhi by air. Arrangements included first-rate hotels, a very comfortable air-conditioned van, an excellent driver, Mr Kishore, and an extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and courteous guide, Mr Giriraj Singh. Both driver and guide were with us throughout the trip and took us to many points of interest along the way. Mr Dinesh Singh handled the pre-tour arrangements and answered our emailed queries before and during the trip quickly and satisfactorily. He and the company director, Mr Pushpendra Sharma, met us at the Delhi airport at the inconvenient arrival times of our flights (1-2 am), and escorted us to our hotel, a welcome attention for a first-time arrival in a strange city. During the tour, we stayed mainly at beautiful and extremely comfortable Oberoi hotels, and made long day drives through the surrounding countryside to visit local forts, temples, and palaces. Highlights of the trip for me were the Taj Mahal, of course, the Amber Fort near Jaipur, and the countryside and temples around Udaipur. The tigers of Ranthambhore remained elusive, but we saw many other animals and some beautiful country in our several days' safari there. Toward the end of the trip we spent one night at the Taj Lake Palace hotel in Udaipur, which, while possibly slightly less luxurious than the Oberoi hotels and with slightly less impeccable service, has such a beautiful setting and views that it should not be missed. I don't think we could have had a more interesting and comfortable first trip to India, thanks in large part to the efforts of Ecstatic India, and I would highly recommend their services.

We have just returned from a 7/8 day booked through Ecstatic India. The whole experience has been truly excellent.
Arranging the tour was very easy with it primarily being discussed via WhatsApp, and confirmed via email, including some specific requests.
When we landed in India our Driver Ashok was ready waiting for us - he stayed with us the whole holiday, navigating the Indian traffic, making us feel very safe, and making suggestions from his vast experience of doing these tours, as to where to go for food, specific shopping and points of interest. Ashok is well worth asking for if you have the chance, although i expect all of the tour guides from this company will be of a similar high caliber.
At every location we also met a Local Guide, who would take us round each city or site, and provide us with the background knowledge we needed to understand a site properly. In general these were very good, with a thorough knowledge and a high level of spoken English, although one or two did take us to their preferred retailer of certain goods, where, taken into a backroom we felt fairly pressured to purchase very expensive goods (we didn't though!).
In particular our guide at Agra, for the Taj Mahal and Red Fort was fanastic and also Vinnie, who took us round Jaipur. Both had thorough in depth knowledge of their areas, a very high level of spoken English and took genuine care of us through the day.
We did find it a little difficult at times to make it clear we wanted to not only got to high quality shops, but also browse real Indian bazaars and mix in more - but it believe this is only for care of their clients.
All in all I doubt you can do any better than book a tour through Ecstatic India, and when we return we won't hesitate to use this company again!

We highly recommend Ecstatic India Tours, not just for day tours, but they do whatever length of time you want.
Last March/April we spent 3 weeks on a trip from Delhi, through Veranasi, Karjaraho, Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and back to Delhi with side trips to Pushkar, Jansi and Fetapur Sikri. We can recommend seeing all of these except for Pushkar, It had sounded nice so we asked for it to be included, but it was a long detour to see much the same we had seen in Veranasi, without any of the charm.
The planning process took quite some effort. When planning the itinerary many changes were made for us by Shailandra who did it all with much patience and good humour. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We had the opportunity to meet Shailandra in his home city of Jaipur and we had dinner with him. It was lovely to meet the man at the other end of the emails and telephone calls and we spent a very pleasant evening getting to know him better.
Our favourite places were Ranthambore, where we were lucky enough to see two tigers, a male and a female at separate times. Our driver there was fantastic and really went out of his way to ensure we did see tigers. Other tourists we had spoken to said they had tried several trips into the tiger reserve but did not see any.
We loved Karjaraho for the temples. Don’t be put off by the advertising of these temples being full of erotic art, it only comprises a small amount of what are just incredible stories of life in old India, told in sculpture decorations of the temples. The number of temples and the intricacy of the sculptures, which were so well preserved, were amazing. Our guide Shyam Lal was very informative and had really good knowledge of the history behind the monuments and our driver Bharosey Lal was also a very good and competent driver.
In fact, throughout the 3 weeks of travel we had fantastic drivers and local guides; which we believe are essential to getting the most out of any travel experience. Our cars were spacious, clean and air conditioned, we had cold water available all the time, which was necessary as the weather was very hot. 40+ degrees, but not very humid at that time. Monu was our driver between Delhi and Jaipur and then Rajesh took over from there. They were both very good, always on time and willing to take us pretty much wherever we wanted to go, whenever it suited us. In Varanasi Mustak too looked after us very well and negotiated the crowded streets with calm professionalism.
All the guides were very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. Pathak in Varanasi, Mr Bilaal in Agra, Mr Giriraj Singh in Jaipur, Mr Kuldeep in Jodhpur and Mr Man Singh in Udaipur. We were offered options to visit silk merchants, local artists, jewellers etc, but were under no pressure to do so. We did visit several of these but only because we wanted to.
We felt we had terrific value for money, staying in some beautiful 5 Star hotels, several of these in the Oberoi group. Everyone should experience these hotels at some time in their lives. All fantastic and the service in these hotels is phenomenal. We also loved the Leela in Delhi, such a beautiful hotel, we were sorry we could not stay longer in any of them. We also stayed in some great heritage style hotels. The hotel Nahjargarh in Ranthambore being one of these.
We flew with Air India as they were the only airline who fly direct from Melbourne to New Delhi. We had read many reviews, some bad, but decided for the reduced flying time it was worth it. We were not disappointed, the airline is fine and the food was better than we have experienced on some other ‘so called’ top airlines.

I had contacted a few tour companies when I was planning my family vacation to India. We wanted to do the Golden Triangle Tour and after doing some online research I was able to narrow it down to 3 companies. Dinesh from Ecstatic India Tours was very responsive and answered all my questions in great detail. I was impressed by his professionalism, knowledge, package price and quick response time. After exchanging several emails I felt very comfortable booking my trip with this company.
Since i was traveling with family we decided to do a 6 night trip with 2 nights in each of the 3 cities. I wanted to do things at a slower pace even though this tour can be done in 3 nights.
We were met at the New Delhi airport by our driver Mukesh who was professionally dressed and spoke good English even though I am a fluent Hindi speaker myself. My wife and kids who visited India for the first time had no problem understanding Mukesh. The car was Toyota Innova and it was in excellent condition. If travelling with family I would definitely recommend you get Innova for your travels. Mukesh gave us our travel documents on the drive to our hotel in Delhi. We checked into Crowne Plaza Okhla in Delhi and it was a wonderful hotel. The beds were comfortable, rain shower was amazing and the breakfast was delicious. Later that day we met up with our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable. We checked out a few sites before calling it a day. The next morning Mukesh and the tour guide took us sightseeing and we were able to see a lot that the city had to offer. The rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk was the highlight of the day. At one point it started raining and Mukesh had umbrellas in his car for us to use.
On day 3 we left for Jaipur and stopped on the way for lunch at a restaurant recommended by our driver Mukesh. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. We got to Jaipur late afternoon and checked into our hotel ITC Rajputana. The boys went swimming, played pool and enjoyed the great lobby of this hotel. The next morning (day 4) we had breakfast at the hotel and it was even better than the breakfast we had in Delhi. Mukesh was waiting for us after breakfast and we went to check out the city of Jaipur. We met up with our tour guide on the way to Amber Fort. We took the elephant ride up to the Amber Fort and it was a wonderful experience. It is a bit scary if you have never been on an elephant before. After Amber Fort we check out some of the other sites of Jaipur before going for some shopping that evening. Our driver would drop us off directly in front of each monument and he would be waiting when we came out. The guide would let the driver know when we were walking out so the driver would bring his car to the entrance. We ended up meeting our tour planner Dinesh and the owner of the company Pushpendra here and they were very friendly and welcoming.
On day 5 we left for Agra but stopped on the way at Fatehpur Sikri. It was a quick stop and we were met with a guide here also. We proceeded to Agra after this quick stop and checked into the Courtyard in Agra that evening. After having a relaxing dinner and a good night sleep at the hotel we were ready for Taj Mahal. We decided to visit Taj Mahal early in the morning so our driver Mukesh and the guide picked us up at 5 AM and we went to Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal was the highlight of this Golden Triangle Tour. It is everthing you hear/read about and even more. We took a Tonga (horse driven carriage) ride to the entrance of Taj Mahal because they don't allow cars to drive to the entrance. The kids loved this Tonga ride as well as the Taj Mahal. After visiting the Taj Mahal we went and had breakfast back at the hotel before heading out to explore the city. We did ask our driver to take us to some marble shops where we purchased some inlay marble items for our house.
Next day Mukesh drove us back to Delhi and that was the end of our 7 day trip. We gave Mukesh a very generous tip for his excellent service. Overall the trip was phenomenal, driver was great, hotels were amazing, food was delicious and the attention to detail was second to none. I will definitely use this company again when I visit India.

My girlfriend and I traveled to India last November-December (2014). We want to thank Heritage India Tours, namely, Pushpendra (Company GM), Manohar (Tour Assistant) and Mukesh (driver) for doing everything to organize, help and assist us in a diligent, professional manner and providing honest service.
We stayed there for a week and a half and after a few days relaxing in Goa we were quite ambitious in exploring the Golden Triangle (Delhi-Agra-Jaipur) in just 3 days, mainly Agra (Taj Mahal and Red Fort) and Jaipur (Pink City and Amber Fort), then off to Delhi for our friends wedding.
As usual, we did some research on things to do and contacted a few tour guides. We were lucky to get to know about Heritage India Tours, which on the first contact (Manohar) gave a very professional response, presenting a very well-organized and realistic itinerary for the places we wanted to visit. Amongst all of the responses we received from various operators, Heritage India Tours presented one of the more competitive and fair quotations. So without further research, we were happy to book with Heritage India Tours.
During our first trip to India we faced a few last minute changes that Pushpendra and Manohar (with their constant follow up) made sure to help resolve- after a few days in Goa, we headed to Delhi with the intent of taking a train to Agra and then meeting our first tour guide/driver from Heritage India Tours. Due to our mistake, all the tickets for the 6AM Shatabdi Express to Agra were already sold out (NOTE: train tickets have to be booked 15 days prior to travel date). This is were Heritage India Tours helped by providing an alternative to go by car to Agra as they had a driver available in Delhi that could take us early morning. And so our 3 day itinerary for Agra and Jaipur began.
In Agra, Taj Mahal and Red Fort is really something you should see in your life. It´s indeed an Experience!
After Agra and as part of Heritage India Tours itinerary, we headed to Jaipur making a stop on the way to Fatehpur Sikiri (UNESCO world heritage). In Jaipur we saw the Jantar Mantar, City Palace and the magnificent Amber Fort by Elephant.
After Jaipur we had flight tickets to go back to Delhi...but the flight from SpiceJet was cancelled by email with short notice. Once again, Heritage India Tours put forward an alternative to take us by car. Although it was a long journey, it was also the chance to experience the different landscapes in that part of India and really get to know how crazy traffic is in India.
Overall we really recommend the tours suggested by Heritage India Tours. Everything was perfectly planned and we definitely look forward to exploring other parts of India - which we will certainly count on Heritage India Tours to organize.
Lastly, we want to give a big thank you to the different tour guides that Heritage India Tours organized for us in the different cities. Professional, with historic and cultural knowledge and well spoken English speakers.

Heritage Tours India
Dear Pushpendra Sharma
We just wanted to write to say how impressed we were with Heritage Tours. From the minute we arrived in India your tour company was amazing! Mr Singh is an excellent driver considering the traffic conditions in India. His English is impeccable and his knowledge of India's history was exceptional, there was never any rush and his explanations were very informative and he was always really happy. The assigned tour guide in every city, that being Mumbai, Delhi, Agra and Jaipur was exactly the same and they were an absolute pleasure to have as our guides.
I have recommended Heritage Tours India to several of our friends!
Many many thanks for such a wonderful India trip that has left us with amazing memories. Please pass on our thanks to Mr Singh and the other tour guides they are an absolute credit to your company.
