About
On this beautifully crafted story of Gandhi, we will learn how he preached Satyagrah until his dying breath & freed India from the British Rule with peaceful and nonviolent resistance. Unfortunately, Gandhi championed the philosophy of non-violence only to die at the hands of assassins on 30th January 1948 in Delhi, India.
To imbibe Gandhi’s struggle, we will visit the Birla House where Gandhi spent the last few days of his life before the assassination. Keeping Gandhi in our hearts, we will then move to Rajghat where he was cremated and is still alive in the heart of every Indian as our Nation’s Father. The tour will include a visit to Gandhi Museum where we will listen to amusing, compelling and deeply moving stories from Gandhi’s life.
A sit-down lunch is where we will ponder on Gandhi’s life after learning the significant stories about India’s freedom, non-violence and funny facts about Gandhi. We will also visit a clothing store that is inspired by the Gandhi.

About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Remi P0 contributionsAmazing Discovery of the 4 main indian religionGreat tour with Anil around four different religious places in Delhi. anil was quite knowledgeable on all the various religions and their influence and history across India, and it was fascinating to understand a bit more about them and what they brought to the Indian culture. I would definitely recommend, and especially to know and understand a bit more about Hindu and Sikh religions.Written 31 January 2023

One of the highlights of our trip to India...AJ did a fantastic job and took us to exciting spots. We had deep insights and were given wonderful food. All in all a great experience; highly recommended!!!Written 15 July 2022
- beingHardik130 contributionsEvery new friend is a new adventure...Thanx a ton to Ubaid bro! for such an exquisite experience as it gave me a complete fresh view of Delhi's 'starry night'. I also relished food walk next day, with te mouth watering delicacies from the nooks and corners of Old Delhi.Written 21 July 2020
- Michael B0 contributionsCycling on Delhi‘s streets in the nightAmazing bicycle tour on the night streets of Delhi. Due to the great guide I always felt safe despite the chaotic traffic.Written 26 November 2019
- 123alessandrap0 contributionsUnforgettable!Even if the traffic in Delhi is hectic, do not be afraid because this experience was beautiful! You will receive helmets and vests with the bikes. The guides are nice and friendly and they tell you a lot of things about Delhi and India. One of the best memories of my journey in India. I can really recommend it!Written 11 October 2019
- Aga145630 contributionsGreat real life experience! The trip is greatly organized - you get everything: good bikes with lights, helmets and reflective jackets. Traffic in India is craaaaazy so the more lights you wear, the better :) The organizators care deeply about your safety - there is always one person at the beginning and one at the back. Also the places to visit are incredible, especialy the Sikh temple - definitely must see! I recommend this trip to everyone who is not afraid to cycle on Indian streets :DWritten 17 September 2019
- thetravellingjosh0 contributionsEye-opening Exploration of Old DelhiGreat bike tour through Old Delhi. Adi has a lot of knowledge and experience as a tour guide and was able to to provide us with lots of information. He also took us to some of the less known places which had historical significance. Definitely recommend doing as it’s an experience you won’t forget. Worth the early wake up!Written 2 September 2019
- JessSimons0 contributionsAbsolutely amazing way to see Delhi! It’s a somewhat early start, but the best way to explore parts of Old Delhi without so much traffic, tourists, and commotion. Adi took us to a bunch of interesting and non-touristic points around the city- some very old, some newer, and some old but still in use today. There was plenty of stops- some short for nice photos, and some longer to take in scenery, rest up, or observe the people and history of the area. I don’t want to give too much away about the specifics of the tour as each place is a lovely little slice of Delhi that has to be experienced for yourselves, but highly recommend taking this short tour! Adi is running things himself and has a passion for this city and showing it to people!Written 2 September 2019
- C_lopez19940 contributionsExcellent experience! We did the 6 am tour and it was a great experience. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended 😊Written 2 July 2019
- equinox830 contributionsAuthentic tour and lots of funI took the tour on a public holiday in India (Eat - The end of Ramadan) and wa lucky enough to be the only one on the tour. Sandeep took me through Delhi showing spots (like rooftops) you’d never have found on your own. Great English, nice conversation, lots of fun. Totally worth the early rise, especially considering how warm it gets during the day. No shopping-stops or similar, but an authentic experience. If you get the chance, go for itWritten 4 June 2019
- Chugger670 contributionsGreat bike tourThis was a GREAT way to see old Delhi up close and personal. Ajay was very knowledgeable and welll versed at every stop. The cycling can be a little aggressive at times but you can always get off and walk if necessary. Overall I am really glad I took this tour!Written 4 March 2019
- grizzly17350 contributionsYou gotta do this; but not for the faint of heart. This was by far one of the most memorable things I have ever done. It's an early start so you are only in crazy traffic not wild and crazy traffic. It's like a cultural snack in the face. It needs to be experienced to be believed. Our guides, one at the front and one at the rear, were confident, informed and interesting. Mid morning we stopped for breakfast, more like lunch but it was tasty and delicious. The only thing you have to worry about is dodging cow patties. I will never forget this trip .Thanks guys.Written 28 November 2018
