Day 1: Arrive and Exploring Delhi, later drive to Agra

Stop At: Humayun's Tomb, Mathura Road Opp Nizamuddin Mosque, New Delhi 110013 India
The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife since 1569-70 and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas. It was also the first structure in india to use red sandstone at such a scale. The tomb was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993.

Stop At: Friday Mosque (Jama Masjid), 6 km North of Connaught Pl. across from Lal Qila, New Delhi India
It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656 at a cost of one million rupees. The mosque was completed in 1656 AD with three great gates and two 40 metres high minarets constructed with strips of red sandstone and white marble. The courtyard can accommodate more than 25,000 people. It was constructed by more than 5000 workers
it remained the royal mosque of the emperors until the end of the Mughal period.
