Private Tour: Discover the Architectural Splendors of Delhi
USD 145.00
Discover the architectural splendor of Delhi on a private full-day tour that takes in the Mehrauli Archeological Park, Qutub Minar, and the highlights of New Delhi. Visit an elegant 15th-century mosque; a historic stepwell, Rajon ki Baoli; Qutab Minar, and the Parliament House and India Gate in New Delhi. You'll also check out the shopping in Connaught Place on a tour that combines the best of old and new. Includes entrance fees, private guide and driver, and hotel pickup and drop-off.
What to Expect
Start with morning pickup from your hotel by your private guide and ride in your air-conditioned private vehicle to your first destination, Mehrauli Archeological Park.

Located next to the Qutub Minar Complex, Mehrauli Archeological Park contains impressive examples of Indo-Islamic architecture such as the tomb of Sultan Balban, which dates to the 13th century; the Jamali Kamali, a mosque with fine decorative plaster and tile work; Metcalfe’s Canopy; and the three-story stepwell, Rajon ki Baoli.

After touring Mehrauli Archeological Park, meet your city guide at 11am to explore New Delhi. First visit Qutab Minar, considered one of the most perfect towers in the Persian world; and the Iron Pillar, which has survived for more than 1,500 years.

Continue to the Lutyen’s Delhi, Rashtrapati Bhawan, the Parliament House, and India Gate. Next, go to Connaught Place, the main shopping district in the capital.

Head to the last stop at Humayun’s Tomb, a World Heritage Site that was built in 1586 and is the first distinct example of proper Mughal style. Your tour ends with hotel drop-off in the late afternoon.
