About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Ditte G0 contributionsAn okay experienceA little to much for one day, very little time each place. Beautiful destinations though, I would recommend taking either the pools or tiger temple in one day trip. Also feels a little silly, that there is an additional fee for entering the tiger tempel, since its under construction so you can't! It also wasnt possible to walk the mountain because of bad weather when arriving to the tiger temple, but that not the guides fault ofcourse, she recommended to go there early morning instead.Written 4 November 2024
- 971piotro0 contributionsThis lake is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in my lifeI had a great time on this trip. It was more than I expected. The guide showed us many local plantations on the way to Khao Sok. He was very kind and funny. We really liked the food. These were home-cooking dishes ❤️ The group was small, just 4 people including us. The jungle hiking was good, but the highlight of our trip was the lake. It was amazing!!! Both views and sounds of the jungle. If you want to pick between jungle and lake, I would recommend choosing the lake :)Written 31 October 2024
- rachelsM9727DA0 contributionsRoach Infested.. do not recommend until it is treatedThis boat is absolutely infested with roaches.. crawling in between the seats, floors, our bags, everywhere. It makes for a long 2 hours when you’re having to swat roaches off of you the entire time.Written 23 October 2024

- 245valeryr0 contributionsGreat private tourWe took the tour on Aug 31st and it was only me and my boyfriend. We are so grateful they did not cancel the tour and were still able to get us through the whole experience. Our tour guide picked us up at our hotel and drove us through a lot of local farming fields and always making sure to provide great local facts. The raft house hotel was better than what I was expecting. There is only a ceiling fan but this was enough as it was not hot during the night. All food was exceptionally great and abundant. Cheow lake is such a beautiful lake and it is worth visiting.Written 10 September 2024
- goandude0 contributionsConvienient way to travel from Hua Hin to Koh Phanang/ Koh Samui islandsThe bus started from Lomprayah office in downtown Hua Hin. We were told to report 15 mins prior to departure which was scheduled for 0845. Our luggage was tagged for Koh Phanang with orange tags and the others were tagged with different colors depending on where you are alighting. The bus took us to Chumphon jetty where we alighted and waited for the ferry. The journey to Chumphon took about 3.5 hours. The bus was comfortable BUT the toilet was extremely stinky and the smell permeated the whole bus. While waiting at the jetty we bought lunch of which there was a wide variety of Thai and western type of food. Then when our boat was ready, we boarded and our luggage was kept separately. The Catamaran ferry was fast, GPS clocked it at 49 kmph, and we reached Koh Phangan after dropping off people at 2 islands at 1600h.Written 29 August 2024
- M487JPjenniferw0 contributionsJohn Gray Sea CanoeThis was an awesome day from start to finish. Staff were amazing, and so was everything we saw and did. Excellent food on board. Can't wait to go againWritten 29 August 2024
- JasperCatRip0 contributionsHorrible experienceThis was just such an awful experience. We boarded at Railay and got off at Phuket. It was hot which is expected, but no breeze as no air can flow through the sealed windows. Think squished shoulder to shoulder with others and sweat from strangers everywhere. can’t see out, even though we asked to sit up front where my husband can see so he didn’t get sick, reception told us that would be ok, but at second stop we all as to sit down the back next to the motors with black smoke and fumes all we could breathe in. No view you just sit looking at the people opposite you who seem equally uncomfortable. I would not do it again that is certainWritten 20 August 2024
- MichaelHealy12340 contributionsHorrible Service! This boat is a terrible service. If you have a red Phuket sticker they say you have a free transfer, went in fact they make you pay 400 baht per person! Absolutely ridiculous, I would not recommend them to anyone. Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere!Written 20 August 2024
- Safari608080937970 contributionsAwesome Krabi experienceA very relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Mena and her team really take care of their guests. I did the 2hr beach / countryside optionWritten 18 August 2024
- Y9308NSneils0 contributionsRude and ArrogantThe skipper is only interested in taking your money not offering a service. He sold me a ticket from Phuket to Krabi 1200 baht and then lead me to his wife’s cafe which was dirty and as I made my way next door to the nicer cafe he shouts at me to sit down. I said no and continued, next his wife starts shouting at me to sit down. He didn’t explain that they take you to your hotel on arrival to Krabi. So I had wasted 500 baht on a taxi. I do not recommendWritten 24 July 2024
- 257cliffc0 contributions180 minutes of rough waterFor anyone who is considering this trip, let me start by saying that the island of Koh Nanyuan in breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous. It's a national park so it is meticulously maintained. The boat ride to get there was NOT FUN. 90 minutes of rough water and pounding waves. As someone who usually gets nauseous on boat rides, I usually will take a pill or two before the trip. I didn't realize how long the ride was so that was my mistake. My gal got totally sick on the way back. Fortunately they provide plastic bags in case you need it Anyhow, before you go just be prepared for a rough ride. The island of Nangyuan is worth the trip. I really wanted to see Koh Tao but we never went ashore, only into a cover for snorkeling. It was good but I wouldn't give it a rave review.Written 6 July 2024
- H3054VGedwinl0 contributionsIt was just fineThe place was gorgeous, but not enough time to enjoy it. Many people on the boat too. It’s a nice tour but honestly I expected more!Written 30 June 2024
- Voyage445566540180 contributionsAmazing experienceAt first it was very full but organized. Was cramped up in speed boat but when it started sailing it was OK. The your guide namely Lena was absolutely excellent. The sea was magnificent not many fish to see while snorkeling but overall something to experience for yourself no words can explain itWritten 5 June 2024
- hippodiver0 contributionsExcellent tour! Kayaking to Hong Lagoon is a must!!!Good snorkelling with nice hard corals and fish life. We got stung by jellyfish so wearing long sleeve rash guard and long pants is recommended. Beautiful Hong Island with its lagoon, beach and viewpoint. Lunch box was ok and as expected on this type of day tour. Kayaking from the beach to the lagoon was the best part of the tour. Great services from Sila and the boat crew who looked after us very well.Written 27 April 2024

We took the speed boat tour to four islands. The Emerald cave was amazing and we were lucky to be there on a day when it was not so crowded. Other people, who went on a tour closer to Christmas holidays, said it was so crowded the cave was blocked like during a traffic jam, which was not fun. Bring a flash light suitable for water, as only the guide has one and it's not enough in the cave.
Snorkeling at the beach where we had lunch was fantastic, another snorkeling location was not as good as the visibility was not great but I saw a sea snake for the first time, so that was fun!
Overall, do not miss this tour if you can, it's worth it.

Amazing day visiting the 4 islands by big boats. Mon was a brilliant host! All the food that was put on was absolutely delicious. Snorkels, goggles, flippers we’re all provided and looked brand new. Efficient pick up and drop off from where we were staying. Super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend using thefourislands.com

I would not recommend this tour unless you are fine with most of the day being spent on the boat. Going into the event, we were expecting a day full of snorkeling and activities.
The itinerary of the event is as follows:
- 1st stop Koh Chuak:
Here we all got off the boat to snorkel or kayak (if you bough the with kayak package). Not much to see here in terms of fish or reefs. In my opinion this stop could have been skipped.
- 2nd stop Koh Ngai:
We got off the boat here while they prepared the lunch on board. Very pretty beach and island to take pictures and swim.
Lunch was served on the boat, nothing special and served lukewarm. Rice, Fried chicken, sautéed vegetables and a thai chicken curry.
- 3rd stop Koh Kardan:
At this stop we anchored about 100 meters off shore. This was the final and best stop for snorkeling. Saw quite a lot of bright fish and a large coral reef.
- 4th stop Koh Mook:
This was by far the most spectacular stop of the day. They took us through the Koh Mook emerald cave. This was the must see on this tour.
All stops lasted only 40 minutes each. In the 8 hour day, we had 2h40 of activities and 5h20 of sitting on a boat.
All staff was very friendly, kind and professional.

I was in the offseason there - so there were only 50 people - beware of going there in high season - there might be 100 swimmers trying to get in and 199 want to get out.... the crossing to the hidden place thru the tunnel is not too easy and dark. If you are inside - its an enjoyable little spot.

Nice big boat and friendly crew. Some ok spots too see. Specially the Emarold cave was nice. But most of the time is on the boat and waiting to get to the next location. Was almost 2 hours delayed when we took the trip. 2,5 hours on locations on a 10 hour trip is to little.

A nice and slightly rough-around-the-edges island-hopping adventure.
We selected the trip with one snorkeling stop. They put us on the trip with three stops instead without telling us. During the trip we had lunch on an awesome beach and visited an incredible beach only accessible by swimming. The workers were friendly and considerate.
I recommend it, as long as you’re open to an imperfect experience.
Some things to be aware of: they crammed our boat full of people, the journey to the islands is long (75 minutes one way?), they only handed out one bottle of water and one soda per person so bring water, some people had to sit in the direct sun the entire way.

The trip involves a hotel pick up, travel to pierside, a long boat trip and Island hopping. The kayaking part and going into the cave is great fun... The boat trip can get a bit boring but the crew is friendly and you can suck on watermelons provided by the crew to cool you off. Overall a pleasant trip

If we're staying in Phi Phi or Krabi mainland (ao nang) how do we avail this tour??
Written 30 March 2019

Written 25 October 2018
Yes is a easy swim thru the cave, I say 5 min, if you can jump in a private boat at 7 am, this place will be for you for an hour or so, till all big boats with hundreds of tourist get there,
