Fun morning in Pinheiros and Vila Madalena!
Aug. 2019
This was a fun way to explore a cool area of Sao Paulo. Our wonderful guide met us at the metro station and guided through several delicious stops, where we sampled sweet and savory Brazilian snacks, including pastel, tapioca wraps, coixhnas, artisanal cheeses, quindim, acaraje, brigadeiros and more! One of the highlights was a walk through the Vila Madalena market, learning about local ingredients and tasting different Brazilian fruits, many of which I had never seen before.

The tour also passed through Batman Alley and the Pinheiros flea market, and so I felt like I also able to get a feel for the neighborhood and local vibe. Our guide was friendly and accommodating, and customized the tastings based on our personal preferences.

It was a Saturday morning well spent and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about Brazilian food culture while enjoying a fun stroll through a cool Sao Paulo neighborhood.

Food tour
It is an excellent opportunity to know Brazilian culture... The team is great, have big knowledge on the foods and the neighborhood... And additional to the food it is possible to explore one of the most exiting places on São Paulo. I really recommend for people that do not know São Paulo, and if you know, do it it is a great and different entertainment!
