This was an excellent tour with Monica B. and Alan (our driver). It ended up being a private tour with just my husband and I as tourists. We couldn't praise her enough for her professionalism, her deep knowledge of her subjects, and her warmth and personal charm. Monica is a very knowledgeable guide, and took excellent care of us the whole way, even pointing out locations of interest along the way to the Sitío. She translated the Protuguese site guides' remarks for us, but she was also able to give us a lot of background on Roberto Burle Marx as a person, how he used his home, and some of his background. The gardens are spectacular, the landscape architecture is inspirational for anyone who gardens or just enjoys a pleasure garden. The nation of Brasil has done an excellent job of maintaining the site as it was meant to be. It was a unique and enriching experience for us in our exploration of Rio de Janeiro.

Monica was a great guide. She was very knowledgeable and was able to accommodate all her guests. She spoke multiple languages. She also took pictures of our family. Very helpful and 100% recommend

Wonderful trip through downtown Rio and Lapa. Monica was our guide and was professional, knowledgeable, prompt and went out of her way to make us all feel at home in her city. We loved the illustrative pictures showing us the different historical changes from Colonial Brazil to the present day.

Our tour was advertised as a half day tour. I was picked up at 8:30 am expecting to be back by 12:30pm as advertised. I got back to my hotel at 3pm. Our tour van broke down on the way up to Christ the Redeemer...black smoke, overheated engine, stranded at the side of the mountain for about 10 minutes. Granted it was an exceptionally hot day (above 33 degrees C in the shade) and our van was full all morning with the A/C blasting. We were retrieved by another van from the top of the mountain shortly after 10 minutes. Our guide was very good; knowledgeable, and friendly. He did a great job of keeping us on track and explaining both pertinent and interesting facts along the way. The sights were incredible... absolutely stunning! I highly recommend this trip but I hope it is as advertised for you. I would suggest they do Christ the Redeemer first to avoid the heat and crowds. Overall, a fantastic experience. The views are absolutely incredible.

The tour through the Imperial Palace/Museum was really nice. The tour guide as also very knowledgeable, passionate, and friendly. We spent over an hour at the Imperial Museum and learned a lot about the Imperial / Royal family during our visit. The other stops were underwhelming and wish there was more to see in Petropolis. The buffet lunch included is not so good and if you don't select the optional brewery tour, you are left at a part with nothing to do for over an hour (Brewery tour itself was okay). The tour was also conducted in English, Spanish, and Portuguese... so it took a long time to explain everything. The size of the group also made things to very slow. Overall, it was 12 hours spent for a couple of interesting hours.

We were very fortunate and had such a beautiful day at Angra dos Reis. The sun was shining and our group was smaller which was amazing as well! We got to see beautiful places! The beach was very lovely and water was just as great for a nice swim! We enjoyed it very much and recommend booking the tour! Just make sure the weather forecast will show sunny day! 😊☀️

Fantastic, great value tour. Arrangements were easy to follow and everything went like clockwork. Monica was brilliant and informative and the drivers ability to navigate the crazy traffic was impressive. Highly recommended.

Pick up puncture. Full bus. Cramped but still civilized. Tour guide knowledgeable. Went to all listed attractions with enough time for each. Included lunch was great. Will recommend to others.

The guide was awful. He delayed us waiting for another couple for over 45 mins which cut into the tour time. Then we got to Botanical Garden which is huge and he was rushing us through it and we were missing so much. It got so bad we told him to leave without us and we would take an Uber so that we had time to explore the garden. Absolutely terrible experience

Very rushed day tour with poor guide and no lunch was actually provided – watch out for this dangerous company as they are a scam artists…

They advertised 3 levels of music but there was only music for a short time on one level. Our guide stuck us our group on the second floor far away from the music. She was too busy having fun with her friend and barely paid any attention to us. The place is over rated and was not enjoyable. The cost is too high and not worth it

Company wastes customers time with disrespectful logistic plan. Then blames traffic and recent weather. Refused to accept any responsibility to the fact they wanted over an hour of customers time to drop other customers off back in zona sul halfway through the tour. They will likely respond and say there is nothing they could have done, which there was plenty they could have done better.

The tour was excellent and informative. Our guide, Monica she could speak 5 leagues and knew a lot about the places. In a very comfy van, we were picked up from the hotel and straight to the Christ the Redeemer. Awesome experience!
