The host needs to do better communicating, and when they cancel to let the customer know. Never responded to how to get a refund because the trip was canceled!

Great beach trip, small van was comfortable and air-conditioned. Stopped at supermarket for supplies and hit some of the most beautiful beaches. Fabio was an excellent host, explaining the beaches history as well as happy to give insight of day 2 day life in Rio, lovely bloke.

Was recommended the tour by a friend and did not disappoint at all! Ramiro was a great guide who lived 5 years in Vidigal Favela and led us to see some great views and some very distinct places in the Favela. Always felt safe with him. We were five people on the tour and had a great experience. Would definitely do it again!

The favela tour with Ramiro went well above our expectations. We started the day with a motorcycle ride through the Favela to hike to one of the best view spots in Rio. We then hiked our way down through the winding side alleys and stairways of the Favela. Here we were able to be given first hand stories of what living in the Favela was like as Ramiro had lived there for a variety of years. The Favela tour was incredible and showed us a side of Rio that many citizens live in. Would highly recommend spending a half day if you have the time when you visit Rio!!!!!

When I came to Rio, I was at first sceptical to enter a favela due to everything I have heard about it. Learning that Vidigal is very safe, I chose to do this hike with friends. Starting of with a stunning motorbike ride, continuing with excellent views from a major viewpoint over the entire city, which we hiked up to, and ending with a walk down the favela, this was all in all a truly spectacular experience. 100% Recommend!

After contacting the company on FB, I was immediately given over to another one of their English speaking reps, Luciano, who was always prompt with his responses. We had an idea of the things I wanted to see and do, but didn't know what was close or too far away to accomplish in the 5 day visit. Luciano helped me narrow down what was feasible to get to and helped tailor our list of activities to fit most of everything in. The driver sent to pick us up from the airport was cordial, knowledgeable and spoke enough English to carry on conversation. Our various tour guides from the company were also very pleasant and much more engaging as they spoke more English and appreciated the fact that they had at least 3 different language speakers they had to translate to and did so with ease back to back, to make the tours enjoyable for all of us. We did the Day in Rio Tour which was full of sightseeing and ended with a yummy buffet lunch later in day. We also enjoyed the Arraial Do Cabo Beach Tour which I was worried would not happen since the forecast called for rain on most days during our time there. Luciano brilliantly figured out which day would be best day to visit with least rain...and boy was he spot on! Really great, responsive service I would highly recommend!

They picked me up in morning and we went to different places to have nice pictures. Later we stayed for some hours in Abricó, where we had a very good lunch with fish. We saw another beach lantern on. The guide was kind and he told us many details of the city in general. I strongly suggest this tour.

Hello everyone! My family and i had an amazing time with our “cristo redentor tour” it was really enjoyable and relaxing! We were abel to take great and amazing pictures. The food provided by the tour group had a lot of varieties and it was very delicious. Also Andrea (tour agent) and Ricardo (tour guide) were phenomenal!!!!! Super glad we ran into Andrea, she explained very thing to us and made feel us feel very happy with our tour purchase. I highly recommend!!

Their hospitality was the best got treated as family, very professional customers service. We did the hike up to the Morro Dois Irmãos with Malcom and Milan our two teenage daughters and an other couple we didn't met before. We all met at the entrance of the Favela Vidigal and took each a moto-taxi up to the top of the Favela. From there we started our climb up the hill which took about 90 minutes. Malcom and Milan carried cold water for everyone and along the way they explained insights from Vidigal and the neighboring Favela Rocinha. On top of the hill we had a great 360° view over whole Rio. Malcom and Milan even had a Brazilian flag in their backpack which proved to be a nice accessory to the many pictures we took. On the way back we visited the Bar Mirante do Arvrão which has also a great view over the cost including cold drinks to cool down after the hike. Afterward the tow guides brought us back to the entrance of the Favela and helped us getting an Uber back to our hotel. Over the course of our one week stay in Rio we had a couple of organized tours but the one with Malcom and Milan was by far the best of them. Simply because they managed not to make us feel like tourists for the time we were together where the other tours never were able to create that feeling for one second. The reason in our opinion was due to the small group and the friendly and open way Malcom and Milan treated us. We felt more like friends and less like tourist. That was very nice and made this day special. Therefore we highly recommend them both if you are looking for a truly authentic way to experience things around Rio.

I stumbled onto Malcolm along Copacabana beach and I was really happy I did! He was the perfect guide, and made the favela trek one of my most memorable tours while I was in Rio. It was an extra bonus that he speaks English fully and had no trouble answering all my questions!!He also kept in touch throughout the booking proses via whatsapp, and really made feel at ease on my solo trip. Would highly recommend Malcolm for a Rio guide!

So... i reserved the "favela trekking tour" with my friends with Malcolm.. No words... the best views in Rio.. Beautiful experience.. Malcolm was really really nice.. If you wanna know the real brasilian culture you have to make this tour.. Anyway.. the favely is very safe Thank you malcolm Obrigado
