        A truly amazing Amazon experience
From the moment we got picked up at our hotel to when we got dropped off this trip was amazing. Amazon Amazing Tours is an efficient and friendly group of people. All our questions were answered, Leonardo sent regular texts with updates as to pickup times and place, and who the driver would be. The trip itself was magical. We had a small boat with 7 passengers only, sailing down a small tributary where we could get close up views of the flora and fauna. We saw harpy eagles, sloths hanging from trees, we fed bananas to squirrel monkeys (one of them sat on a man's head while grabbing the banana from him and eating it!), and we caught piranhas and were taught how to get the hooks off and throw them back in the water safely. Our jungle walk was so interesting, especially learning about the medicinal properties of the plants, and seeing the huge Samauma tree. We also had a lovely grilled fish lunch at a home on the river where we saw a toucan in the trees. It was during a brief rain shower but we sat outside under a roof so we got to watch the rain and get a feel for the season. Francisco was an entertaining driver who maneuvered traffic in a timely manner and everyone connected with this tour was determined to make this a memorable experience for us. My husband and I highly recommend Amazon Amazing Tours. Kudos to Leonardo and his five-star group! We liked it so much that we want to visit more of the Amazon.

My time here was amazing! The staff were great and my guide, Rambo, was excellent! My room was basic but comfortable.
The food was tasty, chicken, fish, rice, beans, for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was eggs, bread, sausage. A bit repetitive.

        Fascinating, challenging and unique.
The location is beautiful. The staff were attentive, making sure that everything was in place for the daily excursions. Joseph our guide was excellent, knowledgeable and fun. This is a rustic experience, not a luxury resort. If you are looking to experience the Amazon it is a good choice.

Outstanding day on the Negro River - meeting of waters, gorgeous eco tour, native village experience, and huge lilies
Outstanding trip. Exceeded our expectations. James was an outstanding guide … personable .. professional and engaging. Our boat driver ‘pastor’ Antonio was also superb in every aspect … both gave us a wonderful day on the Amazon River- the highlight of our days on the River and satisfying our reason for coming - to explore the natural habitat and be exposed to the indigenous culture. We rate it 15 out of 10 - over the top!!!!! Thank you.

        Great Tour of Manaus
We had an excellent tour of Manaus. Our guide was very informative and gave us a real appreciation for Manaus’s history and took us to the main sights around Manaus. Communication with this company was very good. We were picked up at the most convenient place to us and they adjusted their schedule to accommodate our needs.

Wonderful day in the remote jungle
Our guide Franciso was excellent. He picked us up right on time. Francisco is very knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We saw beautiful birds and plants. Our canoe driver Paulo didn't speak English but was very friendly. We had a home cooked meal at his home in the middle of the jungle. It was a fantastic day

        Hiking and Swimming in Waterfalls
Swimming in the waterfalls was amazing. The 2 hours of strenuous hiking from the bus to the first 2 caves was very difficult and not disclosed in the description of the excursion, however. Also very long 2 hours bus ride each way to and from the Presidente Figuereida National Park. Our guide, Miguel, was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. All in all, a great experience though.

        Not sure any value
If coming in via a cruise ship you will see the mixing of the waters. In our forest walk produced nothing in the way of wildlife…

Safely transported to hotel on time, but in a smaller, older personal car.
The driver met us ontime and got us to the hotel safely. Unfortunately, we were not picked up in the van that’s pictured on TripAdvisor. It was his personal older little car that barely made it up the overpasses. I was a little concerned about getting to the hotel safely, but he did get us there.

        Jungle trek and River cruise
We had a great experience. Our guide Daniel was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining and showing us the flora and fauna. We were picked up at 7:30 AM and dropped off at 5:30 PM. We drove for 1 hour where we got on a canoe for a jungle cruise on a smaller tributary of the Rio Negro. We did a 1.5 hr walk through the jungle. The followed a fishing experience for Piranha fish. Continued to visit a jungle lodge for lunch. More river cruise to reach the Rio Negro near the largest fresh water Archipelago. We felt like we got the experience we paid for.

        Very disappointing
The fireworks lasted for 15 minutes. For this, we were picked up at 7:30 pm, taken to an uncomfortable boat where we sat in plastic chairs for hours, and served inferior food. We would have been prisoners on the boat until 3 am (we had not been told this) except that 50 of us banded together and paid a small boat to take us back to the docks. If you want to see the fireworks (which are nice), I recommend hiring a small boat locally. If you are 3 or more people, it will cost about the same

Rewarding 1/2 Day River Trip from Manaus
This was an awesome 1/2 day adventure. Our tour guide, Francineto, took us to the Rio Negro, an Indian village were we saw a show, swimming with the dolphins. Lunch was all you can eat and wonderful. There were a couple of stops to buy souvenirs. Francineto was a great tour guide. You could tell he takes great pride in his job. He was constantly interacting with all his guest (40+tourist). He and his team kept us safe while on the boat and everyone returned home safe. I’d recommend this trip if you are short on time in Manaus. Seeing the Rio Negro was the highlight of the tour for me.

        I approve!
I went to this tour, booked over WPP and did not know what to expect. Just want to say that it met all my expectations. The tour is very well organized in an awesome environment quiet deep in the joungle. My tour guides - Eddy, Ben and Adelson were amazing and helped me with anything I needed. So, If you are hesistant about booking, don't be and go for it.

2 days and one night booked. Great, eventful arrival. Various Things to do and nice people to meet. Guide was great. Food was also included

Soon I would even book 2 nights, since you then also have the possibility (besides one night in the pousada) to sleep in the jungle in the hammock.

I've been with my husband in Manaus and we did 2 tours through the agency. The first was a day trip to swim with dolphins, see the encounter of the waters and meet an indigenous tribe. Everything was very well organized. The second ride was to sleep one night in the jungle. The guide was very knowledgeable, the people were very welcoming. Leonardo was always very attentive in whatsapp and gave us a lot of security. It is an investment that is well worth it. It was one of the best experiences of our lives!

I had an amazing time on my trip with Amazing Tours and would definitely recommend the company. Fabio, our guide, speaks perfect english, is very knowledgable, and has lots of wonderful stories to tell. The lodge I stayed in is beautiful and peaceful. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe the whole time and thoroughly enjoyed myself! The only other advise I have is to bring your own small fan if possible, the one in my room was broken and it was incredibly hot at night!

"If you don't have a lot of time to visit the Amazon this is an amazing tour that includes fishing for Piranhas, Kayman alligator spotting (you might get to hold one as we did), and Jungle hiking. We were able to add swimming with dolphins for not much more and purchase gifts from the indigenous tribe. The tour guide was extremely nice and very knowledgeable. He was able to spot a sloth for us and he will educate you on different plant species and medicinal uses. We loved the comfort of the lodge and found that the high water season was extremely beautiful. This is a fun and well rounded Amazon experience."

*Likely to sell out: Based on Viator’s booking data and information from the provider from the past 30 days, it seems likely this experience will sell out through Viator, a Tripadvisor company.
