      Fun Day in Austin
This is a terrific tour of the Austin area. We purchased the hop on/off feature. Got off the bus at the LBJ Presidential library and toured and the bus arrived to pick us up right on time! Jason was the host and he did a great job with stories and facts about the city. It helped us to determine what else we wanted to do.

What a wonderful tour! Jason was a fun and engaging tour guide. He provided a great overview of the history of Austin and we were happy with every suggestion he gave for places to visit and things to do. Mike was a great bus driver too!

Jason and the Hop on Hop off Day !
The tour host Jason was an unbelievable source of information. His knowledge of the city was eclipsed only by his knowledge of music, which he gracefully shared with us, entertaining and lightning and educating. It really helped make us stay in Austin, more productive and fun.

Could be the very best way to get acquainted with Austin.
It was a great way to explore the city. The hop off and on option was a great way to go. The tour guides had so much good info, it allowed us to pick what to check out more in depth and then resume where we left off. Definitely learned and saw more of the city than we would have on our own. Made for a pleasantly full day without the hassle of driving, parking etc.

      Informative
Jason and Matt were very informative and gave a grate tour. Learned a lot about the city. Always suggest to do a Hop On Hop Off tour the first day in a city to get your bearings and get suggestions.

      Fantastic Choice
This tour exceeded expectations. Had a couple of out of town friends visiting and wanted them to get a taste of Austin. This was great. The guide was very knowledgeable and kept the crowd engaged. I have been to Austin many times and I learned something new on this trip. I would highly recommend this tour.

      Fun tour guides
Nice overview of the city. I wanted to visit LBJ library and museum and it was one of the stops. You have about 5-10 minute walk from drop off to the library. I appreciated having a live tour guide on bus, no recordings. It was a little chilly on top but blankets were available if needed.

The Double Decker tour was perfect for the family and everyone enjoyed it very much. I am a history buff and it was great to get an immersion in Austin history and culture. Our guide was informative, humorous and had great tidbits about Austin, it's local lore and history. If you are new to Austin, I would recommend doing this first, to get a general sense of the place and then decide what you want to more in depth around the city.

The double decker bus tour in Austin is great! The live tour guide was knowledgeable & fun. Bus driver did a great job navigating throughout the interesting city. The owner was great to get our reservations switched to ride inside the lower air conditioned area on the bus even though the rooftop deck was booked full. We thoroughly enjoyed our hop on- hop off experience, we toured the city twice!

I enjoyed the friendliness of Tre (the owner). When he noticed my scheduled date of the tour was set to storm, he called me to suggest I move my tour to the previous day, thinking they would possibly have to cancel the tour for the day I set. That was so helpful, because I meant to schedule my tour on the date he recommended, not realizing I mistakenly set my tour on the unintended date initially. Also, the tour guide is a very excitable presence, plus she's a wealth of knowledge concerning the city, its history, and fun facts about the more recent establishments in the area. I initially wanted to ride the duck ride, but doing the double decker from the height of the top deck exceeded the experience I would have gotten from the average bus level that the duck ride offers. I'm so glad I made the best choice for me.

Personnel were friendly & welcoming. It was raining and water after was leaking into the first floor of the bus. Many of the seats on the first floor were in desperate need of repair: cushion material peeing and fill exposed. The tour guide was knowledgeable, but in every sentence she inserted “ um” or “uh”. She should record herself and listen. Would I recommend this tour to get “a feel of Austin and it’s neighborhoods? You betcha.

Hi Mary, Thanks for your feedback. I am glad that you would recommend this tour to get a feel of Austin and its neighborhoods to others. Unfortunately, you took the tour on a day that we had unexpected rain that started just prior to your tour’s departure time. We typically do not operate tours on days that it is expected to rain, because if it rains hard enough, water will come into the bottom deck. Prior to the tour departing, I explained that rain comming into the bottom deck was a possibility. I offered everyone a refund if they were not comfortable with this. No one wanted a refund. We do have three seats on the bottom deck that have had the seams come loose and we plan to address this. I sincerely apologize that you ended up in one of those seats. As for the guide, it was her second day giving tours. We ask that our guides learn and give a lot of information during the tour. All new guides, including myself, are just doing their best to recall and delivery the information for the first couple of days. After that, the information becomes second nature and their delivery becomes more polished. We are absolutely thrilled to have this new guide (especially at a time when it is hard to hire good employees) and I have confidence that she will end up being really good. Again, thanks for your feedback. We will use it to improve our tours going forward. Trey

We went of the bus tour to get a good intro to Austin. The guide was was very good and informative. Learned some interesting facts especially about how Austin became the Texas capitol, why the city was nicknamed weird Austin, the large art community, eclectic signs, and that Austin had more music locations than Nashville! Tour was about an hour and a nice introduction to the town.

My wife and I had a great time on this tour. Phil, the tour guide, and Mike, the driver, were both professional, funny, kind, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour as a way to take-in the "must see" parts of the city and learn about Austin's amazing history. TIP: If you have never been to Austin, take this tour one Day-1 so you can spend some more time at the places you found most appealing on the tour.

A WONDERFUL experience! Our tour guide and driver were phenomenal, the tour itself highlighted so many neat things between the SOCO district, the capital building, and various landmarks in between. The history was neat and the voice it was told in was fun and entertaining. The ride itself was great and this excursion was probably the most fun we had on our entire three day trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I recommend planning this the first day you’re in Austin so you know the history as you kickoff your time in the city!

My wife and I have never been to Austin before so we wanted to take a tour that would hit the highlights of the city so that we could go back on our own time to visit the points that interested us most. This tour did not disappoint. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The bus was clean and left on time. The complementary water and sunscreen was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the tour!

Friendly and helpful. I wish I'd done this as the first thing I did when I hit town so that I would know what to look for and why certain landmarks are important, which is the thing I really like to know since I'm too busy to do research before I travel. I had totally forgotten about all the things I wanted to check out in Austin, like the bats under the bridge and South Congress. We went during the heat wave but still insisted on being on the top deck and it was fun, as our tour guide stood up there to give the tour so we could see her as well as hear her on the mic. They also have ice water and sunscreen on board if you need it, so they are very considerate that way. When you go to the Austin Visitors Center, ask them where the tour meets outside and they'll tell you where to meet, since they don't meet inside the Center. The Help desk employee made sure to give me the brochure with the list of places where we'll stop in case we want to return after our tour, which was very helpful. There is Garage and Lot Parking, as well as street parking in the area, but it was a little sketchy because of the homeless characters who wander the street, so we made sure to use the garage, which was a bargain.

It was family's first time in Austin so we decided to get a tour of the city, so what better way than to do it on a double decker bus! Besides it being HOT 🥵 the overall experience was great! The driver knew how to handle the bus smoothly & the guide was very knowledgeable of the sites we passed. It got too hot for my younger girls so during the rest stop, we went to the lower level with the AC & rode there the rest of the way but the sites were harder to see. The very back seats in the lower level was the coolest seats. We sacrificed some sites for the AC.
The bus was clean which is a plus! 👌🏽 It was a hot but fun experience!
