- 502carrieh0 contributionsOur guide was fantastic and the tour was great. Our guide was fantastic and the tour was fun and educational. The guide was flexible with what we wanted to do. We spent more time at the castle and then had takoyaki from a street vendor for lunch because that was on my daughter’s list of things to do.Written 28 March 2024
- B519LEjeffh0 contributionsGreat trip for a family of fourThis trip was fantastic. Himeji Castle is every bit as beautiful as it looks like in the pictures and it is significantly less crowded than both Osaka Castle and the major sites in Kyoto. The private driver made the trip very easy and enjoyable. The gardens by Himeji Castle are truly stunning and Engyo-Ji is serenely peaceful. My daughters (12 and 14 years old) loved every minute of it. Our guide was knowledgeable, kind, and very flexible in her willingness to take us to the sites we wanted to see. Thank you!Written 15 January 2024
- anna032920 contributionsFun foodie walking tourOur lovely tour guides, Hana and Hirona, walked us through a fun path of sweet treats and cultural experiences. This was a great way to try some of the local street deserts amongst the fun fashion shops. We well looked after.Written 2 January 2024
- AshMerchant290 contributionsAwesome Azakusa tour!Upon reaching the meeting point, we were warmly welcomed by Hana Alexis (Our tour guide). Hana was really prompt in messaging us in advance and reminding us of our tour schedule. We felt welcomed and with such a friendly atmosphere we had a fantastic start! Hana had an excellent command over her english, she was very flexible, friendly and we really appreciated it, and for that she deserves a special thanks. She gave us some excellent insights about the place we visited along with some really nice overview of places to visit during our stay in Tokyo. The overall tour was beautiful and the end was even more awesome as we finished the tour with a complimentary Asahi beer at the Asahi head office (Thanks to the tour organizors for this). Highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to explore Azakusa for a couple of hours. Kanpai!Written 29 December 2023

- Paula C0 contributions10/10 Nikko experienceThis was an unforgettable experience and I completely recommend it if you want to know more in detail about this beautiful place that’s Nikko! The temple we visited in this tour definitely became my favorite temple in Japan, and thanks to the English explanation from our tour guide I was able to learn a lot about the history of this place and about Japanese customs. I feel that I wouldn’t have been able to learn the same if I went by myself, so this was definitely a plus on this tour. I’m forever grateful to our tour guide for taking me and my group on this amazing experience and showing us the beauty of this place.Written 30 November 2023
- bobbye7110 contributionsAmazing Trip in japanI thoroughly enjoyed my time in Nikko with this tour. The breathtaking panoramic view from the observation deck and leisurely walks around the lake were truly remarkable. Following a delicious lunch, we explored the UNESCO World Heritage site, Toshogu, a sacred place for the Japanese, adorned with beautifully ornate temples. The tour guide, fluent in English, was incredibly supportive throughout the entire experience.Written 29 November 2023

- Trail238208151190 contributions"Nikko Adventure: Views, Temples, and Cool Vibes!"Had a blast in Nikko with this tour! The views from the deck and lakeside walks were awesome. Ate like royalty, then hit up Toshogu's UNESCO site – those temples, mind-blowing! Shoutout to our guide who rocked English and had our backs. Oh, and heads up, the ride's about 2.5 hours from Tokyo, and it's like 5 degrees cooler – pack accordingly! 🚗❄️Written 26 November 2023

- 609caitlinr0 contributionsGreat walking tour if you love sweets! We booked our Harajuku Foodie Walking tour at short notice. I emailed ahead to check accessibility requirements and I received a quick response. The tour was well organised and our tour guide, Hirona, was very accommodating including taking photos, communicating via WhatsApp in advance of the tour and after. The tour was at a great pace and included the price of food. The tour didn’t have any savoury food but we received a great recommendation about where to have a traditional meal after. I would recommend this tour, especially if you have a sweet tooth.Written 27 October 2023
- Agate K0 contributionsThis tour was the highlight of my 2 months in JapanI spent 2 months traveling Japan, and going on this tour was the highlight of those 2 months. I really really love Japan, and I got to do all the typical touristy things, but this was so refreshing - felt like such a hidden gem. Everything with the tour went smoothly, the car and staff were really nice. We started off with a stunning view during the cable car ride and getting up to Jigoku Nozoki, where you can get Instagram worthy pictures, and then the big Buddha statue. Krukku Fields was a very special experience with nice unique artwork, incredible healthy foods, and more. I went solo but I would love to repeat this tour with my boyfriend or friends with the future.Written 23 September 2023
- Trail238208151190 contributionsMust visit adventure from TokyoA must-visit for hikers and those seeking panoramic views! This escape from the bustling city of Tokyo led us to explore the Chiba mountains, visit the largest Buddha statue, and even cross Tokyo Bay via an underwater tunnel to catch a breathtaking sunset. The van we traveled in was quite comfortable, and they even provided us with extra water. Overall, I highly recommend this experience!Written 14 September 2023
- hir0naa0 contributionsA Hidden gem tour from TokyoTruly a hidden gem tour from Tokyo with well organised itinerary. Breathtaking views and there was time to take plenty of photos. Kakizaki-san’s tea ceremony is unlike anything I’ve experienced in the 5 trips I’ve taken to Japan. It’s special. You feel it from the moment you’re guided into the beautiful garden. And that feeling only grows in strength throughout the ceremony and with the wonderful way Kakizaki-san explains each step’s significance. Like all great experiences in life, you won’t want it to end. But when it does, you’ll have something to cherish and think back on—over and over again.
