The guide was personable and kind and knew local places to shop and eat which was helpful. We had a plan be communicated after discussion a couple of months in advance. And was very patient with us as we often stopped to shop and eat.

Mr Norio Oki was our enthusiastic guide who gave us an excellent introduction to Kobe. Met us at our hotel and during our 4 hours together we experienced The Ropeway, The Herb Garden, Perfume museum, journey on subway, Shinto Temple and how to pray and ring the bell, 1.2km shopping street, Chinatown and Harbourside as we prearranged. After all that a nice lunch together at the equivalent of a Yo-Sushi - we walked 16000 steps and all was very fine. What we really liked about Nori was his photo taking of us at special places. Lovely chap.

Our tour guide Fummy was super helpful took us around Tokyo. He explained the history around the places we visited. I recommend this tour 100%.

Yoshiko exceeded our every expectation on this tour. Starting from the amount of time she took going through multiple iterations of our itinerary to make sure it was perfect, and then hand guiding us through travel arrangements when we were there, she went above and beyond. Her knowledge gave us additional perspective that we never would have had on our own, and her persistence coming up with a perfect plan allowed us to experience everything we wanted to do in Hiroshima even with a time crunch. To top it all off, she was extremely friendly and personable, and a joy to be around. I would highly recommend her to anyone going to Hiroshima.

Koba did a great job, great communication beforehand, was early to our hotel, had a good plan, and made our first day in Tokyo easy to take on. It was great to have someone lead us through the subway on our first day in Japan and teach us tricks to take on the rest of our vacation.

Kazz was the best guide! He is very knowledgeable on every aspect of our tour - history, architecture, cultural significance, and anything else interesting about each site we wanted to see. He was also lovely to chat with and gave us great recommendations for other things to see in Kyoto after our tour. Thank you Kazz!

Hiroki Deguchi was our guide for the Kyoto sight seeing tour. We enjoyed seeing unique places and things without ever getting lost! He's a joy to be with and he knows his way around. Thank you for the experience and making our memories of Japan special.

We were able to see key sites in a fun, stress free way. Our guide, Kazz, provided excellent commentary on the history and natural environment of each site. We only had one full day for Kyoto and this was a great way to do it. Be aware of possible significant taxi expenses for the day depending upon your selected itinerary and your starting point.

Posh was a great guide, took us to the highlights of Tokyo and a fantastic lunch with a small local restaurant that was amazing! We loved our tour through Tokyo!

We only had a few hours to see Kyoto so we needed a local expert to maximize our visit. Makiko did a fabulous job. She arranged a wheelchair at the station and then took us to Toji Temple and Niko Castle

We had a wonderful tour with our guide Fummy! He was friendly, engaging, and eager to be of assistance. Fummy contacted us shortly after we booked our tour and asked us what three or four points of interest we would like to visit in Tokyo. He gave us some suggestions we might choose. I wanted to include in our tour places where I thought we might miss important details if we tried to go by ourselves. I chose the Tsujiki Fish Market, the Imperial Palace, and Meiji Jingu Shrine. Fummy made a proposed itinerary and sent it to me for approval. During our tour Fummy gave us tips for navigating the trains and subways. At the fish market, he explained the various items and suggested food that we might try. At the imperial Palace he gave us the historical context of the palace. At Meiji Jingu Shrine he explained the customs and points of interest. We ended the tour with lunch in Harajuku. Prior to the tour we had purchased JR trains tickets for the subsequent legs of our trip. We had a few questions that the JR agent couldn’t adequately explain to us. Fummy was happy to check the tickets for us and explain what we would need to do on each future leg of our trip. He was very helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Fummy and recommend him highly!

Sami was a wonderful guide. After we booked the trip, Sami contacted me to ask what we wanted to see. I explained that we were interested in modern architecture and she arranged a perfect trip for us. We could not have been happier.

We found our guide very well informed, willing to flex to meet our schedule and changing requests. He was prompt, friendly, and well-versed on the city. However, we had expected a clean neat member of Japanese society. His jacket could’ve used the cleaning and a couple of breath Mints would definitely help.

We had a great day with Kenzo (Ito). It was out first time in Tokyo and Kenzo really helped us get our bearings and how to navigate this huge city. He was very knowledgeable about the places we visited and we had a great lunch in a very small restaurant near the Sensō-ji temple.

Despite the unexpected snow and cold, we had an amazing tour with our guide, Yuriko Suematsu (Lily). Her deep knowledge brought the history of Takayama to life. We especially enjoyed the Takayama Festival Floats Exhibition Hall and the Historical Government House. The snow added a magical touch, giving the city an enchanting atmosphere.
