Certificate of Excellence
We book a tour to visit the Terracotta warriors We traveled from Shanghai and since the first moment the service and support of Phoenix was espectacular She made a very good explanation She's knowledgable about China's history We enjoyed every single moment of the tour. Agency fully recommended
If we could give 7 Stars we would
Exceptional tour from start to finish from Eddie who met us at our lobby and on the drive out to the TC Warriors struck up a great rapport. We had packed our bags as we needed to be dropped off at the North Station (instead of the airport) and there was no issues leaving them in the car for the duration. Eddie whisked us through the entrance magically providing umbrellas for the initial downpour and also gave us ear pieces so he could talk us through where to go and what to see without having to be beside us (The TC pits are super crowded so this was an excellent offering only costing 20RMB each) We visited on a Sunday and needed to be at the north Station by 12 and as we were there at 9 am we actually finished the tour part in an hour (Seeing and hearing absolutely every nuance) then spent 45 mins browsing the shop, having a coffee and left via the shop where The farmer who found the site signs an autographed book along with photos (200RMB) and were reunited with our driver and luggage. Eddie further
suppressed himself by insisting on collecting our prepaid train tickets from Xi'an train station (which is larger than most airline terminals and also understandably very Chinese).
Best tour and guide to date by far
Nana was a very knowledgeable guide with a lovely personality. She explained all the highlights to us and helped us push safely through the crowds. The warriors of course are amazing, so we had a great day in Xi'an.
It was such an incredible experience to see this in its place of origin and Rosa made it even more memorable! Her knowledge and the way she mapped the tour made the trip more magical! Thank you so much Rosa, we loved it!
I’ll definitely be recommending this tour and Rosa as a guide to anyone visiting Xi’an!

A tour of Terracotta Warriors, Buddist Pergoda, Taoist Temple and Xianbei City Walls.
My tour started, a little after 7.00am. I was collected and greeted by the tour guide, Jackie, who was welcoming, friendly, enthusiatic and always eager to answer questions at this early time of the morning.
The first stop of the tour was to the Terracotta Warrior Attraction, as you would expect the entrance was hiving with milling tourists, although our guide was able to successfully manover us to the entrance safely and quickly.
The Terracotta Army Pits are a 10-15 minute brisk walk from the entrance, along a pathway, crammed with tourists, if you are unfit take the shuttle service!.
The Terracotta Pits have a truely historic atmosphere, and you will experience an impacting wow factor when you first see them! We moved through the pits with our guide at a brisk pace, although there was time for photographs and our guide was always patient with the tour group stragglers.
Upon exiting the Terracotta Pits our tour guide brought us to a souvenir shopping area, and offered us advice as to the authenticity and quality of the soveners being sold. Certainly he gave good advice.
The second part of my tour, brought me to the Buddist Pergoda, a Taoist Temple , and finally a walk along the City Wall of Xianbei. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, offering an abundance of interesting cultural tourist information.
My only criticism of this tour, was the pace of it at the Terracotta Army Pits, which I thought was a little too brisk.
Overall, I had a fantastic day out with this tour, it exceeded my tourist expectations and it certainly gave excellent value for money.
Well Done Jackie!!. Paul Hamilton, Europe.
Terra Cotta Warrior tour
Michael, our tour guide in Xian was very sincere, knowledgeable and helpful in many ways.
His English is very good, but he realize there are so much more for him to learn so it was really fun to help him fulfill his curiosities.
He was very easy going and made us feel very comfortable.
I would like to have him take us to HuaShan mountain next time when I go to Xian.
Excellent tour with extremely knowledgeable guide!
We were extremely impressed with this tour! Our guide, Nancy, picked us up at our hotel. She was even a few minutes early. On the way to the museum she told us what to expect and gave us a good background on the history of Xi'an and China. She also told us about the other options of places to visit and recommended the ones that we might enjoy most. The Terracotta Warriors museum was fairly crowded, but Nancy knew all the short cuts to get around and directed us to the best places to take photos. She explained everything at the museum too us as well so we could appreciate everything we saw. She has obviously visited the museum hundreds if not thousands of times because she knew the ins and outs of everything there. After the museum she took us to a tea house for some snacks. After the museum we went to the hot springs and the Wild Goose Pagoda. She helped us with purchasing all our tickets so we never had to wait in lines, and the driver was also very prompt in always picking us up at the end of each location.
We would gladly do another tour with Nancy if we had the chance.
Terracotta Army tour
We were picked up from our hotel in Xi'an, visited both the Qin's Terracotta army Museum and the Hanyangling Museum and were dropped off when the tour ended at the airport. Linda, our guide, was very knowledgeable and professional! We had a great day, and would recommend this tour to anyone!
Private tour to Xi’an Tara Cotta Warriors
We scheduled a private tour with Nana and she was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Her English is excellent. It was a great visit to an amazing site. I highly recommend a this tour with Nana.
England, United Kingdom
One of the best place I have ever seen. When you see the Terracotta soldiers, yo will get impressed. You can find thousands soldiers under the soil.
Oxford, United Kingdom
Guide was good, as she got me there before crowds (6.30 start in golden week), but felt a bit rushed through the pits, esp pit 1 which was first. I tipped well. Cost &or tour was above average. Next time; early start and just a taxi driver.

Terracotta Army, Ancient City Walls of Xi’an, Muslim Quarter and Big Wild Goose Pagoda
My wife and I had just one and a half days in Xi’an before we flew to Shanghai to attend the Rolex Masters Tennis Tournament. Of course we wanted to see the city’s main attraction, The Terracotta Army but also some of its other sights. The trip was booked through ‘Wendy Wu Tours’ and we were very fortunate to be assigned Lisa Wang as our personal guide. She and a driver met us very punctually at the bullet train railway station when we arrived from Beijing and accompanied us to the splendid Ancient City Walls which looked spectacular early evening, under floodlights. Lisa, a resident of Xi’an all her life, spoke excellent English and was very informative. In addition to city tours, she also conducts tours of the whole of China and her knowledge of the country was most impressive. She encouraged us to ask her anything about the city of Xi’an, about living as a local, about other places in China and about its people and culture. She was never fazed and gave in-depth and interesting responses.
Lisa was particularly knowledgeable about the history of the Terracotta Army and during the hour’s drive to the site, she gave us very interesting background information that did much to enhance our visit. The visit did not disappoint and will live long in our memory.
A visit to a ceramics and lacquer factory followed and the day was rounded off with a visit to the impressive Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Once again Lia’s input was invaluable and made for a very full and interesting day.
I would encourage anyone to visit Xi’an during a tour of China and try and obtain the services of Lisa Wang. She is clever, articulate, funny and very knowledgeable - an absolute star!
Big day but perfect for our short stay in China
The setup before we left Australia was easy and Mason was very accomodating with any information we needed. The tour itself was awesome and our tour guide Lisa was exceptional. We had teenagers with us and the early morning start was difficult but definitely worth it to save us a days travel and overnight accomodation. thank you very much!
There are so many tour options for the Terra-cotta Warriors that it can be overwhelming. We are a couple from the US. I picked this tour because seeing this was one of my top things to do on our trip to China. I liked the fact that it could be scheduled at the time we wanted and that we would not have to keep with a group. It did not disappoint.
Our guide Rosa was exceptional. Her English was excellent and her tour was perfect. First, she picked us up at our hotel and on the way explained the history of the Qin emperor and how the tomb came to be. It was fascinating and really set the stage for the trip to the warriors.
At the warriors, she started us with a quick look at the bronze chariots in Pit 2 where you can see how the site looks before excavating the warriors. She showed us the various warriors you can see close-up and explained to us the differences in uniform, facial hair and hair style. It was fascinating and brought extra dimension to the rest of the trip. I’m so glad we started there.
Next we saw Pit 3 and then finally Pit 1, which is where the largest group is. This is the perfect order. Rosa was amazing as she knew exactly where to go and what to do and helped us get through the crowds and see all the best angles. She also continued to give us great information throughout the trip. I literally cannot say clearly enough how wonderful our day was and that is due to 2 things (1) Rosa and (2) the amazing Warriors.
This is an expensive tour but we felt it was worth every penny. We were very pleased.
Thank you, Rosa!
Excellent tour. The guide Linda was full of knowledge and information. She was exceptional in providing assistance in every possible way to make it a memorable trip
