Wonderful 3-day Introduction to Moscow
This was my first time to Moscow, and I couldn't have had a better guide than Alex to show me around. During this whirlwind tour, I had a thorough introduction of the marvels of Red Square, with Lenin's mausoleum and necropolis, St. Basil's Cathedral, GUM department store, and nearby KGB. I also saw the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Gorky Park, and the Armory Chamber in the Kremlin containing the royal treasures, including the Faberge eggs, gowns, carriages, and utensils. Finally, I got to see the famous subway system, with beautiful and varied stations. The whole tour was comprehensive and well presented. Alex was a very knowledgeable guide and was fun. This is a great tour, and I recommend it highly.

Moscow is a very beautiful city and had lot of places to see.
Moscow is a beautiful city, though it does suffer from the impact of modernisation. We spent 4 days there and found them to be less. I would advise the fellow travellers to engage Private Tour operators to see the city before venturing out on your own. Lot of places to see.

walking Tour with Svetlana
Our guide, Svetlana, picked the two of us up at our hotel and we discussed the day. We customized our tour by adding 3 train stops so I could see some of the famous stations. We then toured the Kremlin, Red Square, St. Basils and ended the tour with lunch at the famous GUM department store. Svetlana was very knowledgeable and well informed on history and architecture. Her English skills were excellent. The 5 hours flew by and we certainly recommend her to everyone.

Lovely afternoon with Alina
Alina was a wonderful guide for the Moscow food tour! We stopped at two different restaurants for a taste of traditional Russian and then Georgian foods - both were delicious. The walk through Moscow with Alina was so nice, and she pointed out landmarks and gave bits of history for each. A lovely afternoon!

Had an awesome time!
We had booked with Friendly Local guides on the MOSCOW BY NIGHT TOUR through Viator. We were picked up ( our group of 30!) at The Mayakovskaya Metro station by main guide Alex. Then , 4 other guides joined him and we split up into 3 groups . We took a stroll through the streets of Moscow from Tverskaya Avenue towards the Red Square & Kremlin ... we thoroughly enjoyed the walk on huge pavements.. passing by the most expensive apartments in Moscow .. saw one of Stalin’s seven sisters on our way .. We stopped for dinner at a fabulous restaurant.. delicious Borscht and Beef Straganoff! When we were done with dinner, the Sky light was dimming and the Moscow lights were shining ! We were taken to the stunning red square , with the towers on walls of Kremlin brilliant with their ruby stars on top of them! GUM was lit up in all its brilliance too! We could see St Basil’s cathedral with all hues glowing from afar! After we were done , we took the Metro back to RECHNOY VOKZAL Metro stn to our cruise ship MS ROSTROPOVICH! The subway stations were amazing of course! Thoroughly enjoyed this tour, the guides were knowledgeable friendly and we learnt a whole lot about the city & it’s culture!

Tour guide never showed...billed us anyways
Tour guide never showed up...claimed they tried to reach us but we got no phone call, message via email or tripadvisor. Phone number we were given went unanswered. ALSO, I also strongly recommend you NOT USE TRIPADVISOR to book tours. When I asked for a refund Tripadvisor immediately sided with the vendor. I though I was paying a premium to have somebody on my side in the transaction...I was totally wrong. I can get ripped off all by myself without tripadvisor marking up the cost.

The tour guide was excellent and the hotel pickup was great.
Daria was a very pleasant and accommodating guide. Her English is excellent and her knowledge of the area was what I needed to know. It would have taken me much longer to get around the important areas and I only had one day. So I didn't have to bother with maps and directions. Being picked up at my hotel was extremely helpful. I recommend this tour, very worth the money.
