Harry , our instructor, was highly knowledgeable, friendly, kind, trustworthy and patient, and he made sure that we were well prepared & stress free for each dive. It has been more than a year since my last dive, so I was a little anxious but excited to do my advanced open water. Harry adjusted the planning of each dive in such way that I would gain confidence, be relax and enjoy it! We (husband & I) have our advanced open water and ready to continue exploring the life under the sea! Bedankt!!! Muchas gracias!!! Thank you Harry!!! All equipment was brought directly to the boat and set up for you ! He even fixed why my mask was fogging up so much ! We had a great dive on the ship wreck and saw lots of wildlife ! I upgraded my certification from Scuba Diver to Open Water here at this great school. Had a such amazing time at the Calypso Diving Center. My Instructor Mr. Renato Pacumberto was a great Instructor. He was patient, explained everything that I had to know in a simple way and provided me with helpful tips and informations. Looking forward to continue my future licenses here.
So if you are new into Diving, the Calypso Diving Center is definitely a great choice and very recommendable also since they got a pool to train the skills. They also have a resort and a great restaurant with authentic Italian Food.
See you again soon. Thank you again for the great and fun time 😊.

Did my Open Water Course with Calypso in March before lockdown. An amazing experience. Big thanks to my Instructor Joel who was truly amazing, professional and calm. I was nervous in the beginning but Joel helped me conquer my fears and at the end of the course i was diving with ease. Thank you for the unforgettable experience of diving. I will keep doing it and i will come back for sure for my Advanced Open Water License with Calypso. Great service, facilities and very friendly staff. My instructor had great knowledge about the diving around Boracay and manage to find turtles on 3 out of my 4 dives :) Thank you to the whole Calypso Team

I recently completed my Open Water diving certification with Calypso Dive Center in Boracay on April 27th and 28th, 2023. My instructor, Renato, made me feel comfortable and provided thorough explanations during the training sessions held in the pool.
On the first day of diving, we explored two different sites, Sinagpa Reef and Angol Point, where I was fortunate to see three turtles and approach a fishing net with tunas. We were able to see many fish that can be found in the sea of Asia. I enjoyed these dives tremendously.
The second day of diving was a true test of the skills I learned from Renato as we dove at the challenging spots of Crocodile Island and Lobster Rock. It was a fantastic experience, and I was grateful for Renato's expert guidance.
I want to thank the entire team at Calypso Dive Center for their professionalism and kindness during my stay. In particular, I want to express my gratitude to Chassi, the Dive Master, who played a significant role in making my diving experience unforgettable.
I am already looking forward to returning to Calypso Dive Center in early August to complete my Advanced certification. Thank you again for an incredible experience!

Newbie to scuba diving interested in doing the Open Water course whilst on vacation in Boracay. Didn’t know where to start, so as most folks do, I checked out some online reviews and then decided to book with Calypso Diving School.
The booking part through to the practical sessions were well organised, initially by Joel for the booking and coordination prior to arrival in Boracay then my instructor Roy Nacanaynay during my course.
Roy is an awesome instructor who really tries to make you feel at ease with the whole process ensuring you are comfortable at each level and having fun along the way. The whole Calypso team are a credit to the organisation from front desk staff, through dive masters and the instructors, they are all very polite, accommodating and professional.
From my experience I would advise to make an effort in doing the whole theory part prior to the practical as this makes this part more relatable.
The dive sites in my “albeit limited experience” opinion are impeccable. The waters in October were very clear with visibility over 30m, many different species of fish and sea turtles, a ship wreck and amazing corals teeming with life.

The BEST diving school! Joel is a wonderful instructor--so patient and calm during all the trainings and dives. The crew took us to beautiful dive sites...and the towels back at the hotel smell amazing! It was the best decision to get my certificate with Calypso and I'll definitely go diving with them again!
