Fun Filled Kayaking Adventure in Kuching
From USD 47.66
Spend an active but relaxing day in nature on this kayaking day trip in Kuching. Your local guide will navigate you safely down the Sungai Sarawak Kiri River while pointing out the wide variety of tropical plant and flower species found here. Have plenty of swimming and photo stops, plus eat lunch in a local village. Kayaking is suitable for various experience levels, including kids over five.
What to Expect
Treat yourself to an experience in the Kuching wilderness. Paddling leisurely down the mouth of Sungai Sarawak Kiri, one can enjoy beautiful natural settings of limestone formations and towering riverine trees. Lunch will be served at Bidayuh village before exploring a herb garden where guests can see, touch and smell interesting plant species. Look out for sweet smelling treats in the wild such as chempedak, pineapple, cocoa, pepper, changkuk manis and many others. Continue kayaking towards a sandy bank where you can plunge into the river for a cool dip before we make our way to Kampung Semadang, Borneo Highlands.
Please note that our kayaking trips are suitable for children aged 5 and above (accompanied by an adult) and for the old as well! Please indicate your child’s age, height, and weight for bookings.

We went through Cat City Tours (they have an office at the Pullman Hotel). it was RM199 for kayak only, or RM228 with Semenggoh Orangutan Sanctuary included.
