At the last minute I realized that flying into Victoria Falls airport and transferring to my hotel in Zambia would be complicated. I booked a transfer for myself and my mother just a day in advance and followed up with Moono directly on whatsapp with my flight information. When I arrived, he had a driver waiting who was so friendly and helpful getting us from the airport to the Zimbabwe border crossing. Just on the other side of the crossing, Moono was waiting to take us across to the Zambian border and onward to the hotel. Moono was so wonderful, I decided to book my day trip to Chobe National Park with him as well (for the next day!). He organized our transfers across the Botswana river crossing seamlessly and it was a wonderful trip. I highly recommend Moono!

I was lucky enough to come across the truly kind and amazing Moono of Moono Safaris himself. He has six drivers, yet myself and my sister and I were lucky enough to hire the boss for three days, during which time he drove us from one end of the country to the other - from Livingstone to Kitwe - an epic 13 hour drive. He was good humoured and kind throughout. The next day he drove us around Kitwe and Kalulushi on a full day of us wanting to stop at numerous places. He was patient and interested as my sister and I visited all our childhood memories; he went out of his way to make our memory lane trip magical. The next day he drove us back Lusaka where we flew home. I only wish there were 10 star reviews. Moono is exceptional. You'd be lucky to have him.

Moono drove us from Livingston to Kitwe. He was excellent in every way. His driving was fabulous, his car was of very comfortable and he was huge fun,informative and trustworthy. He then drove us to kalulushi to see our childhood home, school and haunts. He accompanied us as we went down memory lane. He then took us to Mindola dam just outside Kitwe, which I would highly recommend. If you want a first class experience of what Livingston and Zambia has to offer I would definitely recommend Moona Safaris

We paid for a self drive through the Chobe park with our own car, costing us 290BWP. I made the mistake thinking our SUV could drive the road. We just crossed into the park and my husband said the sand was to thick. Taking a company game drive would be 3hrs long and that would botch with our booked sunset boat cruise. I thus decided to ask if we could get a refund of our payment and rather come back the next day and pay again to do a guided game drive. The ladies in the office were not helpful at all. Service was not of importance to them even after I said that we would come back the next day. They refused to give a refund stating their supervisor was not there. And that I lose the 290BWP. No matter what business you have, always try your best to provide a good service. We are disappointed in this Nature reserve. They all too happy to take your money, but not adaptable to refund, even knowing that you would come back the next day and invest in them again.
