See what happens in Hoi An after sunset on an evening food and walking tour. By exploring at night, you'll enjoy cooler temperatures and see a different side to Hoi An Ancient Town’s illuminated landmarks. Feast on Vietnamese delicacies—including BBQ pulled pork and white-rose dumplings—you may have otherwise missed, and receive personalized attention from your guide in a small group limited to 12 people. In the early evening, greet your guide at a designated meeting point and receive an introduction to the culinary culture of Hoi An. The first stop is a local bakery famous for their bahn mi (a Vietnamese baguette filled with meat or vegetables). Join locals in feasting on pulled pork rolled in rice paper; browse stalls selling local produce at a Hoi An market; and sit down to enjoy Vietnamese specialties at a restaurant favored by your guide. After chicken, rice, dumplings, and dessert, your food tour concludes at a Hoi An bar with Vietnamese coffee and beer.

    Fresh Juice & Smoothies
We lived around the corner from the night market on our stay. It was a place full of everything you can imagine but our daily constant was the delicious smoothies (my fave was mango) from a stall with an abundance of fruit on display. This proves how fresh it was….highly recommend

    Great Food Experience
I was so full by the end of the tour, I’m pretty sure I ate 10 dishes!! I was taken to the best places that serve authentic Hoi An dishes throughout the city centre and old town. The lantern boat right was a nice way to end the evening. I’d highly recommend booking this tour, my tour guide was extremely kind, funny and knowledgeable.

    Good experience with stall #34
Thanh at stall #34 was a great help with picking up some cool souveniers and things for our friends back home. He wasnt too pushy and was super friendly without feeling like he was forcing us to buy stuff. Thank you!

    Well worth the visit
Do yourself a favour and visit shop 34, Thanh is an absolute legend. Nicest guy, with a great sense of humour. The shop has a great variety of gifts with great prices. We enjoyed going to visit him every night for a chat and to buy a few souvenirs. Well worth a visit

Hoi An is beautiful any time of day but evenings were extra special and a must see. But seems to always very busy The whole town glows by the lanterns. It gives off an incredible old style vibe. Some people walking around in traditional outfits. There were a round 55 vendors. All the stalls were numbered. The locals where selling a bit of everything but really most stalls are very similar. There was lots of local street food which smelt and looked incredible. I had spicy octopus and I believe it was called a banana pancake with Nutella. They both very incredible. We didn’t have much room in our suitcases to do much shopping but prices seemed fair. All the stalls owners were very friendly and acknowledge you but didn’t really bother you if you said we are just looking. We read before we left that some people felt they could be aggressive. We did not feel that way at all. The people for the evening lantern boat rides were a little bit more aggressive. You also can mail things home if you were like sand didn’t have a lot of extra room. But it is a bit pricey. About $50CAD to ship 2, 20cm lanterns back to Canada.

The night market is cool. Lots of things to see. Beautiful lanterns. There are two stalls you gotta check out. Stall 33 and stall 34. These guys have great English, are lots of fun and will give you the best prices in the market. No pressure to buy anything and they have nice souvenirs.

Great stall with even better people! I was given a “student” discount for the items I purchased and the man working there was the nicest/most chill guy ever. He was very funny, likable, and most importantly the experience was enjoyable! Thank you!!

Our guide Jackie was the best! She took us on a tour of so many delicious stops, complete with narratives about the proprietors and history. I cannot recommend this tour more highly.

We've visited Hoi An several times before, but always during the day. At night it was so charming!

Stall 32 is easily the best stall at the Hoi An night market. The lovely family who owns it are extremely helpful and do not push you around or annoy you. They also have the best prices in the market

Lovely place to come. We walked through the entire night market and our favourite stalls were 34 and 39. They were the friendliest people who also had the best items available at a very cheap price.

On a separate note, we visited stall 52 which was further away, but to get custom tailored clothes - which were fantastic.

My wife, daughter and I just wanted to leave a little review, firstly to say that the night markets are amazing, a must when visiting Hoi An. And a special mention for Mr. My @ Stall No. 33. As the sign on his stall says "No pressure, No pushing, Take easy, be happy and looking is free". He is a true gentleman, an absolute pleasure to deal with and most importantly excellent deals to be done. We highly recommend that you pay him a visit if in the Hoi An area.

Night scenes with lots of various colourful lanterns brightly lit up the riverside areas. Some couples take boat rides, some try out local food and beer amidst the busy streets. Some artists carved out beautiful heads and faces from bamboo roots and some drew beautiful pictures too. A night to remember.

Very nice and busy night market. If you want to buy some souvenirs, I would recommend stall no 32 at the end of the market. The no bulls** guy. Fair prices and very nice souvenirs to remind you of this awesome city.
