Cruising past the floating bridges, lush rice fields, and colorful villages of the Thu Bon River Delta is popular tour from Hoi An, but for a fun twist, opt to explore by road instead. This thrilling 5-hour motorbike adventure will take you into the heart of the Vietnamese countryside, with plenty of stops to take photos, meet the locals, and sample local specialties.
What to Expect
Meet your guides and small group of no more than 15 people at the Discovery Adventure Tours office in central Hoi An in time for a 12.30pm departure. After listening to the safety briefing, strap on your helmet and jump on the back of a Minsk motorbike or semi-automatic scooter, driven by your own personal guide.

Leave the city behind as you zoom off into the countryside, following dirt roads, canal side trails, and scenic country lanes into the heart of the Thu Bon River Delta. Experience everyday life in rural Vietnam as you pass through fishing villages, spot villagers at work in the rice paddies, and see traditional wooden boats being paddled along the rivers.

Stop along the way to take photos, admire the views, and chat with the locals, then pause at a riverfront café to refuel with a cup of traditional Vietnamese coffee or a glass of nuoc mia (sugar cane juice). As you turn back towards Hoi An, take a thrilling ride over the delta’s unique ‘floating bridges’.

Back in the city, your tour ends at the tour office around 5pm.
