We made exactly the experience a lot of the other comments also describe: the trip is cancelled the day before, no reason is given. It was definitely not a weather issue, as the sky was full of other balloons.

We booked with this company for a hot air balloon tour and a day before our tour they canceled without any explanation. I have tried to contact them muppets times and they have not replied. After talking to other people on our tour bus their tours are still taking place. This company will give up your reservation to a higher bidder BEWARE

We made a reservation for a hot-air balloon ride for 230 euros each - which is a lot of money but it was to celebrate my daughter’s 12th birthday that same day. Unique Ephesus Tours cancelled our reservation less than 24 hours before with no reason given. After asking around, we found out that the real reason was because market prices had risen to above 300 euros for that day, and so they decided not to honor our contract. There is absolutely no reason anyone should make a reservation with this company - if market prices are cheaper, they’ll stick take all your money, and if market prices are more expensive, they’ll cancel your spot at the last minute. I’m sure the hot-air balloon experience itself is great, just don’t go with this particular company.

We have booked this balloon flight a week ago and they canceled our booking without any apparent reason. We chose the lowest price we found on the trip advisor. Some operators do not honour their contract and decide to drop customers if they feel they can get a better price from other customers. In the meantime we were left without a balloon flight. Had we known that we would have booked from a more reliable company

They cancelled our hot air balloon tour for Wednesday (10 April) the basis of “bad weather” when if fact a lot of the other hot air balloon DID NOT cancel yet. The SHM themselves did not cancel the hot air balloons for Wednesday. I am extremely upset by the lack of professionalism and how inconsiderate this company is, I am only in Cappadocia for 3 days and Thursday is my last day. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY, they are probably selling our tickets to others for a higher price. I understand if the SHM says that they are now allowed to fly but for now hot air balloons are cleared to fly, so why is ours cancelled? UPDATE : the hot air balloons went into the sky today (10th April) - they lied to us about “cancelling” bad weather, they sold our tickets for a higher price to gain more money. I even have proof that the hot air balloons went up and the SMH allowed them to. please do not book you will be disappointed. Book with your hotel because such companies as this are deceiving and liars.

It’s was just a driver who doesn’t speak English at all . he was showing us messages on his phone with google translate and took us to only one photo location with balloons. no advice, no information, no different locations, no communication and he was 40 minutes late. Everything was around one hour and half.

We flew all the way from Canada for this. We picked the more expensive version that goes over Goreme instead of cat valley or soganli Valley. But the NIGHT before we got a cancellation. It’s unacceptable. We couldn’t find anyone else that day, so we just ended up going to the launch site and watching everyone else take off. No reason no communication was given. I tried to contact many times as well. I wouldn’t recommend these guys. Absolute last minute cancellation, weather was perfect. We think it was a money grab, they found people that were willing to pay 1.5times the price as us.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. They cancelled our flight when we were there at the Cat Valley, while all balloons in Göreme were already flying!! And now I really doubt that the described itinerary is really possible: Cat Valley is so far from main Cappadocia attractions and those described... and another local guide told us that, from Cat Valley, it's not possible to see the main attractions neither. Nor the driver nor people there speak English, and no one gave us some explanation... we had to try to figure out what was happening... And money (if it's finally refunded, what I doubt...) will take at least one week, as mentioned on this platform... So don't waste your time here and search for a flight that starts in Göreme, not the Cat Valley.

The best experience I had in Turkey!! The stuff was friendly and helpful. Totally recommended...is a once in a life experience

Hot air balloon ride in cappadocia is a just! Amazing view in this unique landscape. The balloon company was very efficient. Pick up was on time (around 4am) start up and landing was very smooth. We are here in May and we’re told it is thr next time to come. Highly recommended.

Be careful! It is not the place where all balloons are flying and you have the magical view. This valley has 3-4 balloons maximum flying.

Not really good experience. The tour was cancelled due to the adverse whether, which was understandable. But after receiving the cancellation message, I tried to call and sent 4 messages to the tour operator because I wanted to confirm if I can be re-scheduled to the following day if weather permits to fly, but no response at all. Otherwise, I would have made my decision to fly with other balloon operator 100 mile away where it seemed to be able to fly. Very bad communication with the customers.
