A very friendly experience
At the beginning I thought I was late or my group left already. After I called the tour administration they let me know that my guider was on his way. He was a bit late but after meeting him I really didn't care about the delay. It also ended being a privitate tour, which I end enjoying very much! The guider, called Alp, was a great person and full of energy and charisma. The way he talked about the hisotry of the place was super interesting and although, I know most of the information, it was a wonderful way to talk and discuss about the history of the place and have much more rich conversations with him about Hagia Sofia, the Ottoman Empire, etc. I trully enjoyed it and I hope more tourists are interested to have more rich dialogs with the guiders who I'm sure, make their best out of what they study and do. Best tour so far!

Side Fake Jewellers
12 10 2019 I bought a gold and diamond ring from Carat Jewellers in Side which has no connection to the global name. It cost several hundred pounds and I thought I'd got a half price end of season deal.I had it checked out at the hotel jewellers later who informed me that it was CZ and not diamond and very poor quality. It's still a nice ring but worth less than half of what i paid for it. The shop itself has a Pomeranian dog which was used as a pull to get you in the shop followed by a glass of wine a the very convincing sales pitch. Personally I feel foolish for being conned and I've bought a fake ring for a lot of money. If you want to buy jewellery I suggest you check everything is legit and believe no one but yourselves. I can't get my money back and I hope it doesn't happen to you

Fantastic Tour
A trip i would strongly recommend for your first time to Turkey. First off, special mention to our driver Captain Murat and our Tour Leader Goksu (affectionately known as G) they were magnificent. Goksu was obviously well known in every place we ate, stayed at and visited as he was always greeted warmly by the proprietors and we always had the best table, showing and experience in all the places we visited. G was was very good with our group, very flexible, knowledgeable and accommodating at all times. Captain Murat was awesome, very safe professional driver but always got us to our destinations ahead of the mad rush and huge tour buses. The Hotels we stayed at were at a surprisingly high level and food was much better than expected. All in all a fantastic trip

Great option for those wanting a day trip to Gallipoli
This trip has all the key sites at Gallipoli and the transport logistics is taken care of. The guide is informative and relatable. Be aware though that the bus trip is 5-6 hours each way depending where your hotel pick up is at so it’s a very long day, if you have more time maybe stay overnight / 2 day option. Otherwise it ticks all the boxes.

This was a long day , approximately 15 hours. Our guide was ok but his English was had to understand. He had the knowledge of the battlefields . The driver was excellent. Having breakfast at 9.30 and then lunch at 11.45 wasn’t a good idea even though the guide did tell us about it.

Poor Tour Guide
The Palace itself is great, however our tour guide was late. He did not wear his t-shirt so he could not be identified. He rushed through the tour just pointing at the different courtyards and rooms with not a lot of detail and history.

22 day Greece and Turkey with Trooper tour
My wife and I have never been overseas before and we're looking forward to this trip. There were somethings that were a bit poor with this trip. All locations were fantastic the sites we saw were absolutely phenomenal. My only gripes were food in hotels was of a poor standard at breakfast there were hot boxes that weren't hot so food was only luke warm. Our hotels kept being changed to what was on the itinerary. And our group was split b/w hotels. Guides were very knowledgeable about their history. Although some moved way to fast for our group. Also guides and bus drivers took us to break stops where we had no choice of what to eat. Instead of stopping in a town it would be a roadhouse in the middle of nowhere.

We took a day tour from Istanbul to Gallipoli last week. We received no confirmation of our pick up time, and had to follow up the night prior. We were collected early and knew we were in for a long drive, but then waited 1.5 hours to be linked up with our tour guide for the Gallipoli component. Lunch food was average. It felt like the guide was just going through the motions of taking us around the various points of interest on the tour and was not receptive to feedback about the importance of this tour to some of the travellers. It was fortunate that we had some knowledge of history to get something out of the day, but would not recommend this particular tour.

Outstanding Tour.
This was an outstanding tour for the price. I have served in the Australian Army for 40 years and have studied Gallipoli for many years. To actually see and walk some of the ground was amazing. Our guide, Burak, was extremely knowledgeable and very engaging. I would thoroughly recommend the tour

Enjoyable Tour with an Excellent Guide
The tour by Fez Travel was just as described. Our guide Charman was knowledgeable and helpful. Visiting the historic sites and learning about Turkish Culture was a highlight. The Hot Air balloon ride is a must if you take this tour. Things to keep in mind. This tour was not a foodie tour - we had nice lunches and dinners consisting of good local cuisine. The hotels were not located in the center of the towns we visited. This was fine with me, but if you prefer being close to the action you will want to ask the tour operator about the accommodations to make sure you understand where you will be staying. And keep in mind that the employees at some of the hotels do not speak English well so be patient and get help from your guide if you have questions or issues. As with most guided tours like this there will be stops at local artist shops with demonstrations and options to buy things. The Turkish artists are incredible and you will see how Turkish Rugs are made, leather goods, ceramics and jewelry. The items at these stops are gorgeous and the prices reflect the great craftsmanship - that means stuff is pricey. Be aware of this - the more time your tour group spends at these places can reduce the time you spend at the sites. I traveled solo and had a great time and felt safe during the tour and at all the hotels. I would recommend this tour.

Best tour and guide
I took this tour in June and have highly recommended it to others. Don't expect a lot of pre-tour communication from Fez, but you can always email them beforehand if you have any concerns. They were very responsive - both the US and Turkey offices. I love it when a tour is on time for pick up! Our guide, Cagman, and our driver took excellent care of us the entire time. They knew what to do to modify our travel schedule to avoid crowds or beat other tour groups (our tour took place during the busiest week after Ramadan ended) yet spend enough time at each location that our group of 12 were satisfied. Cagman knew the best locations for photos and educated us on the history and culture of the country. Our group jelled over the course of the tour and shared many laughs and created many memories. The 7 day tour is perfect in length and we saw all of the important sights. I loved how the tour had a balance of history and scenery. Some may take offense by the stops at the leather, carpet, pottery, and jewelry store but our group bought something at every stop (I'm guilty of that!) and what we purchased was definitely at a better price and quality than what is offered in the tourist shops. I don't regret any of my purchases and cherish seeing them in my home. If you are looking for a well organized tour of Turkey, definitely select Fez!

its ok
first time with this descent fast paced tour, drivers were friendly and guides were knowledgeable, especially with this historical place, Turkey. wifi in the minibus👍. lots of stopover. hotels and meals where great, we just have to clarify n verify with the guides everytime an optional activity we wanted to do because sometimes the customer service and guides have misunderstanding. customer service replied fairly fast enough to your concerns but sometimes miscommunication happens, a transfer from airport to hotel forgot about us and this gentlemen from a different travel company helped us contact Fez agency, thank God. but over all it was an unforgettable experience.🙏🏻👍

Great tour guide and drivers for our Çanakkale and Troy tours
On two consecutive days my family and I used Fez drivers and a tour guide to take us around Çanakkale on the first day & all the battlefields and war memorials from the ANZAC landings and the ensuing battles. It became quite obvious that we had chosen the right company. Our Turkish guide new so much about the history of the campaign from both sides. He brought all the personalities to life. Being a Turkish born Australian who has spent most of his life in Sydney (47 years), we found the whole experience totally gripping and emotional. The second day we used the same tour guide to take us through the ruins of Troy & later the Troy Museum and again he was impressive in his classical knowledge as well as his knowledge of the rediscovery of Troy and what happened to it’s treasures. What I found most interesting was how he was totally unassuming of prior knowledge and was just happy to share his passion. There was no showing off. Truly a nice guy and a fabulous tour guide with a great depth of knowledge. Our drivers on both days were also very professional and polite and always at hand when we needed them, absolutely no waiting. The car was a large with air conditioning and very comfortable seats. I would highly recommend Fez Tourism for the depth of knowledge and engaging manner in which their tour guides deliver their service and their dependable drivers. Thank you.

We have just finished this tour and I have to say how impressed I am with it. From pick up to drop off we had a ball. We were there as a couple and met up with 4 other Aussies, 2 Indians and 2 Chinese, we were joined later by another Aussie. Our tour guide Burak was very informative at all sights, but what I liked about this tour was the many stops along the way for toilets, coffee or just stretching. There was so much to see and we could never have done this by driving ourselves. I would definatetly recommend this tour.

Seasoned Traveler
The tour was okay. Our guide John was a nice guy. Areas of improvement: 1. Have a vehicle where all people face forward with 1 Prove a vehicle with sufficient space for legs. We have mini van that had seats facing one another. For 8hours worth of sitting it was inadequate and uncomfortable. The vehicle was clearly meant for Istanbul tours (opinion), a hop out hop back in style of vehicle meant for city travel. 2. Clear pronunciation of words is important for the tour to be of value. Our guides English was 3/5. Both of us found it difficult to follow what was said and gave up asking for repeats. So the learning here is language skills that are clear to the listener is very important. 3. Bring the story alive. Our guide seemed to parrot repeat the written tourist material placed by the government/tourist board. There was zero value added to his story. 4. Tailor the story to your audience. Our guide told us repeatedly how amazing the Turkey Army was. As an Australian visiting interesting stories of what we did is far more valuable than nationalistic chest beating. 5. The structure of the tour is completely wrong. 7am pick up. Breakfast stop around 9.30 for 30mins. Then the plan was to drive to a place for lunch arriving 11.30 and to stay there for two hours! Poor tour management here. This we got changed: breakfast 15mins, we did the tour first and then lunch around 2.30-3pm for about 45mins. This then got us back to Istanbul around 8pm. These long extended timeframes for breakfast and lunch and the order were not optimum. On the good side, John was okay to change as above. Summary There is a lot of opportunity to improve and add consumer value to this tour.
