Great Speed boat trip
Nov. 2021
Absolutely worth the money. We were very pleased with the trip and undoubtedly the amazing nature of the Phi Phi Islands, which is worth seeing at least once in a lifetime.

Nice tour. Picked up from the hotel at about 6 am, brought back by 6 pm. There is a light meal before departure. We had a good local guide who explained everything in an accessible and understandable way. The group was about 25 people, mostly English-speaking tourists and a few locals.

A place away from stress
Well this trip is what I needed. Due to sudden plan of vacation I could not plan things properly and all I could do was book my flights and hotel so I decided to explore the local agents this time and on my first day I went for a day excursion with Phuket top tours and I must say this was a decision that I will never regret as booking a local agent ac tally helped me save a lot of money usually when I preplan for a 5 day trip I spend over $1000 on my travel and food only and with this tour I hardly spent $90-$100 a day including food which surely was a good deal.

Tourist trap for all western citizen when booking a Phi Phi island tour !
Feb. 2020
We booked an english guided tour but ended up in two groups of 95% russian travellers ! Also staff and guides were nearly complete russian or russian only speaking. Therefore english explanations were rare and tone was harsh.
No professional organsisation and to manage mass of russian guests were priority.
When on our homeway driver refused to drop us at pick up point. He insisted that we should walk or grap a taxi !

Phi Phi Islands are an experience ! Don't miss it but avoid booking with this tour company.

Great tour
Dec. 2019
Our tour started with a pick up at 6 (which is pretty early) & we reached the jetty only around 8:30 (since you pick up guests from the same area). On reaching we were given some refreshments & a briefing. While most groups were briefed in Russian (there were multiple Russian tourists), our tour instructor took the effort to explain everything in english. Though our instructions seemed shorter and simpler then the ones in Russian, we really dint mind that. Our first island was naga, where we spent time swimming, swinging and enjoying the island, before we set of in our speed boat to the most beautiful island bamboo island, the water here is crystal clear and the beach is maintained very well, post this we went to monkey island, maya bay, saw the viking caves and then had a great experience of jumping into the water at the pi leh lagoon. One of the only problems on the trip was the stop over at phi phi island, that was very short, we had to walk across the island (about 15 mins) for lunch, that was average & then within 45 mins, were expected to walk back (15 mins) to head back to the boat for our return leg.
However, during the return leg, we stopped over for another trip of snorkling & then at a beautiful island to see the sunset that completed the tour on a happy note.

Thank you for your review, we are happy that you enjoed our tour! Sometimes if the boat arrives at low tide on the Phi phi Don island, then it is necessary to moor in the port and go through the island to the beach to the place of lunch. Usually the water level is high enough and the boat is moored directly near the restaurant where lunch is held.

It was a perfect experience with this speed boat tour. Our first point was Khai Island where we had enjoyed swiming and snorkeling, after that we arrived on Bamboo island and then take a lunch with seaview at Phi phi island, after that was Monkey beach, Viking caves and Pileh lagoon with crystal water and Maya bay
It was lucky with the weather and have great fun with many tourist from round the world. So it all, we recommend this 1day tour.

Survival of the fittest...but you’d be better off not surviving
Dec. 2019 • Friends
We are picked up from our hotel at 6:00 am and we spend the next hour picking up other guests, including someone from the wrong tour group (there isn’t enough time in the world to describe the cluster that was translating from Russian to Thai to get the guest back to her correct tour). As we arrive to the tour hub, we are thrown into hordes of hundreds of Russians that I can only describe as herding cattle while fighting over the breakfast rations that are half-toasted toast slices with fake butter. This breakfast makes your local Motel 6 continental breakfast looks like a Michelin starred experience. We finally get onto the boat around 9:00 am.

Our shoes are essentially pried from our feet and dropped into a communal trash bag as we are led waist deep into the ocean to board the boat. After we claw our way to our seats, we realize that we are the only English speakers on the boat (and entire tour of 300+ for that matter). Everyone else spoke Russian. The entire tour was given in Russian with a 15 second abbreviated summary in English. I will give props to the tour guide. I don’t have a clue what he was saying for the 10 hour tour but at least, he was decent to look at.

Let me describe to the boat condition. I will preface this by saying, we would have been better off haggling a street vendor for an inflatable raft and rowing ourselves to the Phi Phi islands. If I had cell service on the tour, I would have been calling my family to say my last goodbyes. The water was incredibly choppy, but the captain did not seem to be fazed. We hit the waves so hard that I managed to get between 1-6 inches of air....EVERY...SINGLE..WAVE...for 8 STRAIGHT HOURS. Think of the jankiest roller coaster you’ve ever been on and multiple that by 50. If you’re going to go on this tour, do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment with your chiropractor for the day you get back. On top of that, the waves were so big and we were hitting them so hard that they were enveloping the entire boat. Seriously. Everyone on the boat was soaked from head to toe without even setting foot off the boat. About an hour in, the fabric roof ripped off from the metal poles it was tied to and began whipping people in the face. It was so choppy that the boat boy could not even repair it mid-trip. A guest was HOLDING DOWN THE ROOF until we made it to our stop. I am absolutely shocked that no one flew overboard.

Now let’s get to the tour portion. After 40 mins, we arrive at our first stop with questionable spinal trauma, but still eager to explore our tour destinations. This is where it gets thrilling. There is a floating dock in the water to bring guests to the island. When I say floating, I mean take some milk jugs, string them together, and voila, you have the floating dock. If you recall, the waves were huge, so yes, as you may have guessed the dock was being flung between the 10 foot swells. Watching people try to navigate the dock without plunging into the ocean was the tour highlight for me. It doesn’t let me attach some video so I’ll attach for screenshots of the videos for you to enjoy as well. We had 20 mins to “explore” something that resembled a deserted island. However, there was virtually nothing to explore. It seems that our fellow tour cohorts really enjoyed the photo opportunities, which don’t get me wrong, were very scenic. It’s just rolling around in the sand for a photo wasn’t my idea of an island tour. After we make the trek back on the slinky bridge without plunging to our death, we start towards the other islands. The next three stops are all “drive-bys”. The tour guide said that they normally stop but could not due to the water conditions. I don’t know if they actually ever take people to those islands or if they use that same line every day, but I don’t want to have to repeat the tour to find out. Remember, this is a boat with a fabric roof (now repaired with twine holding the roof on again) so there is a 6 inch hole where we could see these drive-by islands. I was sitting in the middle and I was not risking standing up to move to the side of the boat to check out the island through the tiny slit between the boat and the roof. We are taken to two destinations where we can snorkel. The snorkeling was mediocre at best. While the fish were cool, nothing you can’t see via Google images. At that rate, fill up your bathtub and throw in some dirt...probably a similar experience. I can’t even begin to describe lunch and the 10 mins we were given to eat it. I’ve never been to prison but I would imagine, it’s a similar meal schedule. Bamboo island was the highlight of the trip according to the tour guide‘s limited English. I’m not sure if they had to say that because everything else was too choppy to dock, but it felt like I was on the 20th season of “Lost”. Save your rations because you’ll want to use your money buy a few ice cream bars for $8 each. We were given an hour there and there was absolutely nothing to do. Guests were just sprawled out across the burning sand awaiting their death or the time to return to the boat...whichever came first.

By the time, 4:30 pm rolled around, I was about ready to kiss the ground when we made it back to land. Honestly, I would have, but I was rifling through the trash bag full of everyone’s shoes that was strewn onto the sand. Icing on the cake is my friend’s shoes were taken and she was left with a bedazzled dollar store version of her flip flops. I had to run around for 15 mins jumping into all of the shuttles before they left to check everyone’s feet looking for my friend’s sandals. You try explaining to someone who only speaks Russian that they took your sandals because our tour hoarded everyone’s shoes in a trash bag stored in the bathroom for 8 hours and they probably forgot what their shoes even looked like since we were unsure if we would ever see them again.

All in all, this seemed like a survivor episode more than a leisurely tour to the Phi Phi Islands, but the thing is I didn’t sign up for survivor nor do I have any interest in doing so. It’s like survival of the fittest, but I honestly didn’t want to survive.

Dear Lauren Jones, The transfer from the hotel is carried out from 6 to 6:40 am, sometimes it happens that tourists confuse the name of the excursions and cannot provide a voucher, therefore we always send you a confirmation by mail or mobile number. Before boarding, it is really necessary to take off your shoes, they are either placed in a common package, or you can put them in your personal backpack / bag. On board it is allowed to be in a coral slipper with a non-slip sole or barefoot. Our tourist group is up to 40 people, and since it is high season and Phuket is really a popular place with Russian and Chinese tourists, their take a majority is on any group excursions. In your case, according to the composition of the group, there were 2 guides on board - English and Russian-speaking. At least 50-60 minutes are given for lunch and it takes place in the Andaman Beach Resort's restaurant overlooking the sea. We are very very sorry that you were not lucky with the weather and that day there was a wave in the sea, because usually during this period the sea is calm and the sky is clear Thank you for such a voluminous review and we will continue improve the quality of our services. Have a nice day.
