Our tour guide Alex and his team took great care of us, especially my 80 years old mum. Because we have done many trips with 5 star we decided on captains choice and it was amazing. The crew were caring professional and good fun and the snorkelling was some of the best ever.

From start to finish the communication from five star Marine was fantastic. We had a seamless experience that was customized and catered to our wishes in every way. The company took us on a tour of Phi Phi Islands and James Bond Islands, and it was the perfect amount of time spent at each. It was well organized from start to finish, starting and ending with private transfers from our resort. They even let us stop to pick up some things on the way there and back. Ya Ya, our guide, along with our captain and crew member were amazing and had a ton of local knowledge of the area!!! We had the best spots for snorkeling and cave exploring, and we were away from any crowds! They even recommended and made a reservation for us at a local restaurant that was absolutely fantastic with the most fresh fish and Thai food. They really know how to show a good time and also clearly prioritized safety and cleanliness. The boat itself was new and fantastic! Could not recommend this tour company and this tour more, and we are very picky customers who have done private tours around the world!

Jessica and the whole crew were amazing for our private James Bond Island Boat tour with lots of other awesome experiences included. Not only did we spend time on James Bond Island, we canoed through caves, visited a floating village, and Jessica scheduled the most perfect lunch at a Baan Rim Nam restaurant on the island of Ko Yao Yai (Five Stars for the restaurant too). The fresh fruit on board was a nice addition. We couldn’t recommend this boat tour enough and if you’re lucky enough to get Jessica it’s a complete bonus! ☀️☀️

We took the Phi Phi island, James Bond island and bioluminescence tour with 5- star marine on Jan 2nd. They were accommodating of our request to add a bioluminescence tour with an already packed schedule. From the beginning, the experience was very smooth, with frequent updates and transparency with pricing and setting expectations through clear communication on Whatsapp. On the day of the tour, from the transfer to the marina, the trip and back went without any hiccups and my family and I had a great experience. The views, the food, everything were beyond our expectations and I would definitely recommend going with 5-star for this experience.

I should have gotten this review up sooner, but nevertheless, I hope it’s considered. For people that don’t like to read a lot, there is a recap at the bottom. A small group of us signed up for the private boat tour with 5 Star Marine because of the fact that they were already well rated, highly responsive via email and WhatsApp, and as soon as I received the quote for service, I was pleasantly surprised. May I just say that even if the cost is more than you imagined, please keep in mind that the experience will be priceless - scenery more beautiful than you can imagine, kind and informative employees, and core memories that will last a lifetime (whether you have younger kids or an adults-only excursion). Ning and her team were very professional, and I genuinely feel like we got a “local” experience with her expert recommendations. The day was full of multiple stops, but we wanted it that way. While a different tour with less islands would definitely be relaxing and equally worth the money, we don’t often have the opportunity to travel like this, so we wanted to maximize the time. We asked Ning what she would do in one scenario when it came between stopping at an already populated island or going to another experience within Phang Nga Bay, and her recommendation of the caves and the scenic kayak made up for it. Our pictures with James Bond Island in the background are still fun because they even had props for our photos :) Every detail - from the little island stop for lunch (where you could see local fishermen bringing in their daily catch for the restaurant) to the fresh fruit on board to the safety precautions they take - helped contribute to an unforgettable experience that I would do 100 times over if I could. I’m so grateful this was available, and we will always have very fond memories of the miraculous sights we were fortunate enough to see.
