This was the 3rd time of doing this same trip, such a fun experience and great value for money. It's very professionally organised, but if you want to enjoy the meals you cook DO NOT EAT ANY BREAKFAST 😁

        Big fun cooking class
After having been there 5 years ago it was time to renew my knowledge of Thai cooking. And what a pleasant day it was again. On-time pick-up and off to the market. Interesting walk through this market that is all food (meat, fish, veggies, herbs and spices). Make sure you stay with your group as you can easily get lost (I did). But a great and insightful experience. And then off to the cooking studio. Take your shoes off and enjoy working barefoot. Very pleasant and energetic Thai ladies help you with discovering how to prepare and cook Thai food. And that is great fun and very tasty. Every recipe is explained and there you go. Lots of staff to make sure that your cooking goes well. Groups are divided over 2 dinner tables and we had the luck that we had a great international diversity (Denmark, Scotland, Spain, USA, the Netherlands). Big fun cooking and big fun eating. At the end, Bret, the ownerr came by and shared local knowledge. Nice guy who, together with his staff, delivers a really good experience. Even on repeat, this is really worth every penny.

        Fabulous experience
Fabulous experience! I was there with my husband and 3 grown sons who all love Thai food. Informative guide through the morning market followed by a quick transfer in an open truck to the Cookery School. The morning rushed by with us being instructed in how to pound fresh ingredients for a green paste for the Tom Yam soup, Green chicken curry, Pad Thai & Thai dessert. All tasted fresh and delicious. Worth every penny. Bret and his team of jovial ladies run a very slick experience & we would highly recommend attending the class.

        A motivating cooking experience
The whole experience was really enjoyable right from the start until the end. A guided tour of the fabulous food market with Bo explaining about all the different ingredients followed by the hands on preparation and cooking of the four courses of Thai food. After each course you get to eat your own creation which tasted wonderful. Over the rest of my holiday I ordered the first 3 courses , one by one , in local restaurants and I have to say that they were not as well seasoned or balanced or indeed as tasty as the ones I produced. That , of course, was not down to my cooking skills but due to the skills and knowledge of the hosts. It has given me the motivation to cook those Thai dishes and more now that I am back home.

        Cooking class in Hua Hin
This was a really enjoyable and well organized cooking class. The tour of the day market was fascinating (although a bit smelly). The cooking class itself was well run and a lot of fun. The selection of dishes was very tasty and I left quite full. Would highly recommend.

        Fantastic visit
We thoroughly enjoyed everything, the visit to the market was very informative, I have a queasy tummy so found it a bit overwhelming at times, the guide at the market Jessica was quite a character! The food we cooked and the information provided after was fantastic. The organisers recommended a light breakfast but I would suggest nothing! A great few hours and professionally delivered.

Wonderful cooking class! A must-do in Hua Hin!
We thoroughly enjoyed our market tour with Bo prior to the class - market was incredible and very interesting information shared! Our class of 6 was great group - lots of laughs shared while cooking and around the table while enjoying our food. The Tom Yum soup, Tofu Pad Thai, Green curry chicken and La Chong dessert were just delicious!!! Thank you Thai Cooking for such a great experience!!!

The market tour is very informative and one of the highlights of the whole experience. The cooking itself is very well organized and easy enough to follow. You should be able to replicate the cooking at home if you find the ingredients. The staff was amazing too!

I highly recommend this Thai cookery course to anyone seeking a basic introduction to Thai cooking styles. The trip to the market was refreshing and provided a great insight into authentic ingredients. The cooking session was exceptionally well-organized and expertly guided, making the entire day smooth and enjoyable. This experience was even more special as it was a thoughtful birthday gift from a close friend. It was a fabulous day filled with learning, laughter, and delicious food, shared with lovely people who all enjoyed preparing, cooking, and savoring Thai cuisine together.

A really fantastic way to spend the day - and great value! We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the food market where we walked around and were told about the food on offer, with samples of fresh coconut cream. The friendly instructors were with us and bought the food that we'd be cooking that day. Back to the cooking school which is open air, but under a roof in the shade, and a lovely house in Hua Hin. Spent a few hours cooking and eating our four courses and were given the recipes and a certificate at the end. We did menu 4, and would happily go back and do the other menus. Everyone is friendly and helpful - we highly recommend this!

I very much enjoyed the cooking course and the stroll through the market. Mrs. Upatcha explained and pointed out all those interesting produchts explaining their use in the thai cooking. We even tried freshly pressed coconut cream which was absolutely delicious. Taking many products back to the cooking scholl we started to cook, evryone has their own wok and working place. Mrs. Upatcha explained everything verry clearly and watched over us as we cooked. The recipes are really tastey and easy to follow.
I very much appreciated the recipe booklet with surplus information about the various ingredients.
Very professional and well thought through. Thank you very much!

What a brilliant, fun day we all had. Meet the girls & chose from food in the local market & learn where they come from/made. Then onto a very stylish & relaxed cooking school.

So relaxed & the girls are so friendly with great banter for all ages. Learnt so much & altered spicy foods to cater for peoples needs so glad i went. We even got menus & certificates to take home. Defo a must!!

Loved every bit of it! It was very well organised from start to finish. I appreciate getting that local vibe in the market and the homely feel of the kitchen area. I’ve learned a lot and was happy with the taste of the dishes I’ve made. And on top of that, I got a certificate after finishing the course! Highly recommended.

Beau and her team are just amazing. The market tour was enlightening even understanding how the stallholders manage their stalls. I will be using the famers market area for my shopping from now - happy to support the local farmers rather that the supermarkets Back to the beautiful Thai home that is now a cooking classroom. Beau and her team made everyone at ease, even my most nervous cook. We cooked with smiles on our faces and very very full stomaches later. I'll be back

Had a truly excellent time at this cooking school. We loved the local market where we were explained the vegetables, fish, herbs, sauces, spices and all the other ingredients we would use for our menu.
The kitchen is open air in a gorgeous traditional wooden house. All the staff were so lovely and helpful, we felt spoiled. The food was amazingly good, I can’t wait to practice the recipes we learned.
Piece of advice: have a very light breakfast as the dishes we prepare are large. Take-away boxes are available if you can’t finish your plate.

When my partner told me she wanted to cook on our tour I was sceptical as I can't cut or cook anything I haven't cooked a hundred times, but I tagged along anyway.

The experience through the market purchasing the bulk of our fresh food we would be cooking was different to what we experienced alone - little bouts of additional information only a local could provide and walks through narrow ways and explanations of fruits and processes we would have otherwise blindly skipped.

Once we got to the kitchen it had a very professional feel to it with multiple cooking spaces, tables, and a full size kitchen.

Beau, our chef, was skilled in both cooking and people skills and shared her knowledge in a very positive way.

Beau was patient with my lack of ability and assisted with my impending downfalls without making it obvious which helped catch me up at times!

The experience was fantastic at a standard expectation level but increased by the persons providing it

Thanks Beau, Brett and the kitchen team for being so wonderful!

Beau and Brett were amazing hosts. We were lucky enough to have a private class as it is the off season. Beau spent time with us making sure we got everything right and understood the tastes and flavours we were aiming for in the dishes. The facilities were very clean and up to date, the location itself is beautiful. We had a fantastic day and would highly recommend. Thank you Beau, Brett and team for an amazing day.

      Hi guys,

To set the scene; I love Thai food but I am a poor Chef. So while travelling with a friend we've decided to take the challenge and try it. And I must say we did well…. okay thanks to the staff.

It was great. We were picked-up on time at the hotel, headed directly to a fresh Market. There, our guide explained us many things about different productsand spices used in Thai food. It was very comprehensive - and included tasting of course.

After that we moved to the schoole, where we regrouped with the rest of the students. And then the serious stuff started…The Chef, who was lovely and patient, demonstrated how to cut and prepare different elements, we prepared Chili paste for our Massaman curry, we cooked it from A to Z, with the support of the staff. We also cooked the noodles wih beef and shrimps, he rice noodles vegetables and a dessert. And we ate everything. Needless to say we needed a nap after that… We even got a nice certification.

All in all a great activity, professional and cool staff, nice organization, clean, fresh ingrédients.

Who can resist Thai food seriously…
