- U6770ISmelindag0 contributionsUnforgettable Zanzibar ExperienceDate of Stay: November 2024 Our 3-day excursion to Zanzibar was absolutely unforgettable! We booked our activities through a local tour operator (ATA Safaris), and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our first day began with a Stone Town tour—the streets are full of history, and the architecture is stunning. Our guide was knowledgeable, explaining the rich blend of Arabic, Indian, and European influences on the island’s culture. We even had the chance to visit the House of Wonders and Forodhani Gardens, where we tried local snacks like Zanzibari pizza. On day two, we enjoyed a Spice Tour, which was fascinating. We learned about the island’s spice trade and tasted fresh spices straight from the plantations. In the afternoon, we had some beach time at Nungwi Beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever seen—pristine white sand and crystal-clear water. Our final day was spent on Prison Island, where we met the giant tortoises and explored the old prison ruins. The snorkeling around the island was amazing, and we saw colorful fish and coral reefs. Overall, our 3 days in Zanzibar were packed with exciting activities, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the culture, history, and natural beauty of the island!Written 2 December 2024

- Anthony P0 contributionsMara riverFantastic - Professional and well organized tour The tour was very well planned, with a nice balance of activities, and was orchestrated without any hitches. Accommodation that was organized, and beyond expectations. Our guide was Geoffrey, who was very professional, and knew how to find the best, and utilize the time well. We were able to see lots of interesting things, including the Great Migration - viewing a spectacular massive Gnu crossing of the Mara River. Besides his sense in finding the "action", he was very knowledgeable about the wildlife, and gave a lot of interesting information about life in Tanzania. Would very highly recommend this agencyWritten 9 October 2022

- samsonk2560 contributionsThe BEST ServiceWe stumbled upon Serengeti Adventure Tours and Travel Company and it was the best decision ever. They worked with our budget and provided excellent service. We had a 7 month baby with us and our guide/driver, Geoffrey and Mary was so wonderful with her and accommodated our needs. I have passed their contact info to all my friends looking to go on safari. See you in 2023for SerengetiWritten 8 October 2022
- revleonardm0 contributionsBest safari experience ever! After reading all the reviews on TripAdvisor we had no doubts that Serengeti adventure tours and travel Safaris will be the perfect choice, but we were astonished by the professionalism of the company! We met with the manager Mary Karim on our first day, who gave us an excellent overview of our trip and helped us with any questions that we had. Our tour guide, who is also named Geoffrey picked us up from the airport and was one of the friendliest person we have ever met from that very first moment until we said our goodbyes (and even after). He took us to the shop so we can buy some necessities on the first day and was always listening if we had any special queries. He is extremely well-informed about the history of Tanzania, the fauna and flora of the country and he was always sharing interesting facts with us. Not only did we have an excellent safari experience but we also learned a lot about the country, and for this we are really grateful! Our trip included Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater and we choose the camping option. It was so much more than we expected! Beautiful scenery, closeness to the wild life, and the camping is really a must! The first night we were in a lodge, then the second night in a closed camping area, but the third night we were in the Ngorongoro reserve where giraffes, zebras and antilops were walking close by. It gets really cold at Ngorongoro, especially at night, so warm clothing is necessary! During the game drives we saw a great number of interesting animals, including mammals and birds. We brought binoculars with us and it was really great as it allowed us to see some of the animals from really close. Emmanuel always noticed the animals from far away, stopped and shared informations about them with us while we were looking at them. We saw some interesting actions as well, such as a buffalo chasing the lions, lions playing with their cubs and a lioness going on a hunt. Geoffrey knew where to wait for the lions, and what to look out for. I also want to mention our cook, Vitalis who cooked amazing meals for us and allowed us to taste some well prepared local cuisine! The presentation of the meals was always excellent, we were served breakfast and dinner at the camp site, and warm lunch during the game drives. We always had warm tea and coffee with our meals, fresh fruits and we really appreciated the warm soup in the cold Ngorongoro reserve! We also booked a Masai village and Zanzibar tours visit for our last day, which was trully a memorable experience! We were included in their welcome dance and they showed us their way of living. Thank you Serengeti adventure for this amazing experienceWritten 8 October 2022
