This was a well organised experience, we were picked up on time and the vehicle was clean and modern. The visit to the local market was very informative. . Our guide was knowledgeable and we were allowed to sample the produce. The Cooking class was held in the guides home with his family helping. We were fully involved in the preparation and cooking of the meal that we enjoyed when it was ready, it was followed by fresh fruit. I would recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys Asian food.

Unforgettable experience during the cooking class. First we went to the local market, bought all the ingredients and after went to the hosts home where the whole his family met for s. We cooked 7 or 8 different dishes. The atmosphere of this class was super friendly and it more felt like you are cooking at your friends home. If you want to try the authentic cuisine, this class is definitely the one to choose.

The atmosphere it was amazing, the were very friendly and it feels like been cooking with family :) The process was very smooth and make us feel like professionals. As the food I will say the best food in Sri Lanka I ever try :) thank you so much :) we love it I also loved that they take us to the marquet and we could pick up our on stuff amazing …!

We had tailor made itinerary including all sights we wanted to visit. The guide/driver was very friendly and profesional. If we wanted to stop somewhere outside the program there was no problem to visit additional towns. We highly recommend Hellow travel for first visit od Sri Lanka.

We had such a great time with Danuka and his family. We went to the markets to learn all about the local produce then went back to their house to prepare our meal. We made so much food, more than 7 different dishes to go along with the rice. We were so full in the end and learnt so much about cooking a Sri Lankan meal. We'll definitely be practicing more at home.

What a great experience my wife and I both enjoyed it very much. We were picked up from our hotel, taken to a fruit, veggies & herbs market where the host showed & explained to us the main ingredients for the dishes we were going to create, we also did some taste testing at the market trying local fruits and veggies. Once we arrived to the hosts house the whole family was their to great us then the cooking began. We made 5 different curries using fish, prawns, veggies & chicken. It was so good that by the end it felt like family. I recommend this to anyone looking for an authentic lesson in Sri Lankan cuisine and culture. Dhanuka was such an amazing tour guide, he made our trip so memorable! He was great at spotting the animals on the safari and we got to see leopards, elephants and more! He took us to lion rock and the dambulla temples and knew so much information and all the answers to our questions! The hotels booked were lovely and he stopped along the way for us to try the king coconut along the road. When he dropped us off in Columbo he took us around on a tour and took us to the markets and food spots for us to get dinner before dropping us at the hotel! We had such an amazing trip! Thankyou Dhanuka!!

We had a fantastic time with Dhanuka, nothing was too much trouble for him. He took us to all the places at the best time and always made sure we had plenty of water. He was so knowledgable, super fast at spotting animals on safari. Dhanuka booked fabulous hotels and took us to some lovely eating places too. He made the holiday so memorable, we just wish could have stayed longer.

He was so lovely and knowledgable with every adventure that it enhanced our experience of the whole journey together. Dhanuka was friendly, helpful and made our trip the experience of a lifetime.

Dhanuka was great, he was super friendly and funny. He knew all the best spots. He even helped us book our jeeps on the safari, which meant we were first in line to enter and could avoid the dust off the other jeeps. He also got us super close to a momma Leopard, herds of Asian elephants and their tiny babies and a musky Tuscker in heat. Dhanuka also took us around Colombo to try some street food and see the city.

Dhanuka was a very good host and his family were very welcoming into their house. We cooked a great variety of different dishes and instructions given were clear. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

The experience was brilliant! Visiting the market, drinking the king coconut and being welcomed so nicely into Dhanuka’s home. I learned so much and it was very fun and informative. There was lots and lots of food and it was all so delicious!!! The car we travelled in was clean, air conditioned and safe. Really glad we did this and can’t thank our host enough!

We booked our honeymoon trip in Sri Lanka with Hellow Travel and it was the best decision we could have made! Our guide was Dhanuka and he made sure we knew all about the history and the information about the places we were visiting and the perfect times to see them, so it really felt like we were in good hands at all times. The transport and the stays went also very smooth and we even got hotel upgrades paying only a small difference, where he made sure we got extra treats. All in all it was a very nice experience and we got to learn so much of Sri Lanka with such a knowledgable guide that made us feel safe and looked after.
