I had a terrible experience with this tour company. They were extremely unprofessional and unorganized. The day started with a late response from the company, which caused a significant delay in our carefully planned trip. This threw our entire schedule off and added unnecessary stress to our day. The car provided for our trip was unfit and uncomfortable, making the experience frustrating and far from enjoyable. Furthermore, we only managed to visit Barelang Bridge and Golden City Go-karts because of the time-constraint. To make matters worse, they tried to charge us for lunch for our 5-year-old son, even though it was completely unreasonable given his age. It was clear that their focus was more on squeezing every penny out of their customers than providing a pleasant experience. The overall service was lousy, and their lack of attention to customer needs was disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable tour experience. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere!

Not sure they are still in business. I saw another review saying they were a no-show. I signed up and tried to contact them twice with questions, but there was no response, so I canceled my reservation.

Going around parts of Asia, I noticed that when you choose a private car with driver, you get just that. We went to Malaysia and ordered a driver and car but he didn't take us to any tour. This, however, we got both. And the price was amazingly inexpensive for having a driver and also someone who told us about the city. He usually has a set tour, but he found out that we weren't very interested in some tourist places so he personalized what we wanted. All in all, I'm pretty happy with their service and would recommend them again.

No show by the travel agency Solid Travel, despite of confirmation. All telephones listed were no longer in use. Unable to contact the travel agency. Terrible experience!

The places we went to was truly educational and also enjoyable. The tour guide DinDin was very nice and warm, explaining to us about the each place we arrived to. Definitely recommend this package if you are here in Batam

Though we booked for a shared tour, we are fortunate to have the tour all by ourselves. The driver cum guide, Mr DinDin is very friendly and make us very comfortable throughout the trip.

It was great experience to visit Batam. The tour guide was very friendly and doing his best for you. We enjoyed our 1 day trip to Batam. Local people are very friendly and welcoming.

ABSOLUTE SCAM AND RIP OFF. I was told in the description that I was offered more and when arrived was only allowed into 1 place. (1 was closed and the other one was not valid) To get into all these attractions it would cost $39 AUD and was charged $191 AUD which included transport. (A 10 minute drive) To everyone thinking about using this company do your research and look elsewhere. My experience was horrible never received worse in my life!!

Average tour. The guide/driver did not give too much information. She asked about the itinerary. It seemed she didn’t know what was included. I added the massage to the tour but the guide didn’t have this information. I had to show the receipt so the spa place didn’t charge me again. I feel most of the time was spent driving around Batam. Also, the tour operator didn’t let me know that I had to pay a visa on arrival even though they knew I was coming from Singapore.

I was little bit shy about massage as I am Muslim and most of Batam people also Muslim. But my shyness dissolved when I found beautiful Girls, Women and Men working in Shops, Massage parlors, restaurants, Hotels and different entertainment profession in Nagoya Hill Shopping Mall and nearby Hotels & Shops. In Batam, unsocial issues are hidden for those people who need those. After my first visit in May 2019, I went 2 times in Batam. I stayed Harmony Suits Hotel, a 4 Star Hotel but price only US$ 33 per night including fantastic breakfast and all facilities of kitchen in room!! Restaurant & Massage service were available 24 Hours in my Hotel room with very reasonable price.

Fast and friendly response to my enquires. The tour guide is super patient during my trip. They also can help to book for a massage too. Will book with them again for my next trip to Batam

We were supposed to be picked up at our hotel and taken to the ferry boat terminal for our tour of Batam. We waited an hour past the pickup time and finally decided to take a taxi. Upon arrival at Batam, the tour guide said Solid Travel would reimburse us for a return taxi to our hotel. When we returned to Singapore, there was no Solid Travel rep there to reimburse us. I cannot recommend Solid Travel as a tour provider.

We checked in with Solid Travel by phone the day before and were told pickup at our hotel would be at 7 a.m. and we would travel on the 9 a.m. ferry to Batam. At 7:30 a.m., no pickup so called their "hot line"--no answer. Continue trying to contact them until 8 a.m. when we took a taxi to the ferry terminal (S$16) and found the ferry company and got our tickets. Met up with the tour guide and he told us that a rep would meet our return ferry and pay for our taxi ride back to the hotel to make up for no pickup. When we arrived back, no rep met us so we had to pay S$14 to get back to the hotel. Tour guide Mr. Bin did a good job of showing us around and explaining life in Indonesia. However there wasn't much to see in Batam and we had to endure visits to three businesses where they tried to sell us products which would get a commission for the tour guide. The included seafood lunch was mostly ok. If you really want an Indonesian stamp in your passport, going to Batam from Singapore is fine, but I cannot recommend Solid Travel as a provider.
