There we were greeted by our guide Ari and Roman who gave us coffee and biscuits. They walked with us to the top and told us lots of interesting things about Bali. At the top they made sure we had a good vantage point. Gave us hot drinks and food. Great fun with them taking photos/videos. Really looked after us all the way back to base. - Linda G0 contributionsStairway to Heaven's Gate (and more!!)Titled on line as the Bali Instagram Tour - it was simply amazing. Typically my husband and I only get pictures with one of us in them (we're not the selfie type). This tour not only took us to the most amazing sites and vistas (Lempuyang Temple-Heaven's Gate, Taman Titra Gangga Gardens and Koi Pond and the Tukak Cepung Waterfall) but it was captured beautifully by our guide in pictures. As if the scenery wasn't enough our guide Ayu from Tour Bali Driver took pictures of us that were indescribable. We were so happy to have our adventure captured as a couple to share with our family and friends.Written 31 March 2020

- Ambassador7867340 contributionsGreat guide having deep insights of culturesI met the guide, bisma, during a trip going to uluwatu with sunset kecak dance and Zimbaran. He was very kind and had deep insights of illustrating cultures of Bali. He gave not only the guide we went but also the meaning of cultures and every answers we asked. Because of him, our trip could be more brilliant, I think. Thank you Bisma !Written 10 November 2019

- Merry_jinddo0 contributionsI can't and won't forget a best guide, 'Ata'I reserved a dolphin tour including visiting Gitgit Waterfall, Ulun danu temple with my boyfriend. Our meeting time was at 3:30. I worried about that if my guide will be on time or not. Since i read lots of reviews, i knew that some guides are sometimes behind schedule. Even though my resort was located in Ubud especially hard to find, Ata contacted me early using WhatsApp and could meet up on time. Ata took lots of pictures for us and checked our condition frequently. It made us comfortable. I asked to move a destination to Seminyak instead of Ubud after a tour. He was willing to accept my suggestion. In addition, he waited for us for an hour without asking for any compansation while we had a lunch time before going to hotel in Seminyak. (we had to go to hotel originally) Thanks to his dedication, we could have a meal and without wasting our time. It was so convenient.. if we stopped by hotel and then had a meal we would have had to arrange other trasportations. To be honest i don't like posting a review, it's a hassle to me. But my guide, 'Ata' touched me a lot.. that's why I'm writing this review. If i visit Bali, i will contact Ata to ask him to become a guide. My boyfriend and i was pretty satisfied with a service provided by Ata.Written 6 September 2019

The view was great. The driver who took us to the jeep place was great as well, although he asked too many personal questions. The negative part of this trip was jeep driver. He first wanted to park where we could not see the sunrise and wanted us to walk uphill while everyone else was in their jeeps. We said no as I have a bad knee so he miraculously found a good parking. Then, he sat behind the jeep to smoke and listen to videos. It was extremely annoying when this is supposed to be a relaxing experience. However, it became an experience of us listening to the videos this man was playing.
As if the video playing was not enough, the jeep driver was continually smoking right by our jeep. I HATE the smell of cigarettes and it never occurred to him that might bother us.
Other drivers will bring hot coffee to their passengers while ours did nothing but to bother our tranquility. Other jeeps had cushions on top to sit, this one did not. Lastly, we had to rent blankets because they don’t provide any.
The sunrise was beautiful and this is an experience I would highly recommend to anyone going to Bali. However, I would recommend hiring a different tour operator.

Adi - our guide is the reason this trip was an amazing one! He was before time to pick us up and was very patient and kind to us. We started right from our hotel in a very nice SUV and we’re taken to Kintamani where he got us started with some coffee, refreshments and bottled water.
Adi was fabulously fluent in English and helped us understand a lot about the place we were about to visit.
He then led us to the jeep trail where we were accompanied by a very brave 4x4 jeep driver - Ketut Asrama Putra who took us to see a splendid sunrise, then the volcanic lava field. The jeep ride was way too much fun and mind you, this guy is an amazing photographer who will go above and beyond to get you the best pictures!
On the way we saw carefully lined up plantations. We met Adi back at the hot springs later where he came to pick us up. He was very patient and professional.
This was followed by a lavish lunch which is included in the trip. He let us pick anything from the menu and the food was amazing!
We then went to the largest coffee plantation where we had a free coffee tasting session.
The pick up, drop and the entrance fees are all included, even the lunch. I think this one was the best tour choice and absolutely worth the cost.
Do ask for Adi as your driver, if possible I completely recommend him for a quality experience.

A driver came to pick us up at our hotel on time. The ascent of Mount Batur by jeep is nice, but very coveted. Bring warm clothing, fleece and short pants are essential.
Expect to see a lot of jeeps, and therefore to breathe a little diesel.
Our guide was perfect, and took us just 10 minutes to climb to a very nice spot, far from the jeeps and therefore the crowds. The view was incredible and so was the sunrise. We thank him very much for this good plan and for all the superb photos he was able to take of us. He was adorable!!!
Then, we headed towards the black lava, very nice too but again, a lot of jeeps… then we went to the hot springs quickly because we wanted to arrive before the crowds to enjoy it a little calmly. We were right to do this. I think you should find a quieter and less touristy establishment to really enjoy it. In addition, there were really a lot of flies….
Then we went to see a coffee plantation, very rehearsed speeches, we go there for the view. The restaurant afterwards was very nice with a very nice view too.
In short, I still give 5 stars because my feelings are in no way due to the organization, which was very good. Let's say that these are activities that are victims of their success and mass tourism.

Everything was fantastic about the day! Edi our driver was on time and patient with our lack of understanding of Bali language and the traffic. He was a good communicator of when he was there to pick us up. Kutut was excellent on the my natural guide portion. The sunrise was beautiful. He has nerves of steel to drive that in the dark! He was very informative about the mountain// volcano. As well as the land surrounding. His English was good too. He was very helpful at the hot springs as well. We enjoyed meeting his uncle who just happened to be there this morning. The stop for food (included) was the best we had had so far. D’yoni waroeng. We passed on the coffee plantation. Highly recommend tour and people!

A fantastic day out. We were met by our guide Top at our hotel, he contacted me the day before our trip to confirm our pick up. He drove us safely to Mt Batur, the jeep experience was excellent. The lava flows and black sand were a wonder to behold. It was nice to follow this with a stop at the hotsprings, taking in the views of Lake Batur. Our guide Top took us back to our hotel via a delicious stop for lunch. This was followed by a trip to the coffee plantation where we got to try civet coffee. All in all, an excellent trip, I would recommend.

Great tour on Mount Batur on Jeep today! It was easy to book and I got the contact of our driver on time to agree on pickup time. At the beginning I had booked the wrong tour. I told them and they offered me a free change for the correct one for the same day.
Our driver, Arya Komang, a young and nice guy, picked us up punctually at the hotel in Seminyak (at 3 in the morning! Thanks for that) and took us up to Mount Batur, where another driver, Mk Tem, took us to the volcano with the Jeep. Before starting the tour they also offered us tea with biscuits. We saw a spectacular sunrise from the volcano. Mk Tem therefore first took us to take pictures of the 1973 lava flow and then to the open-air thermal baths (Batur hot spring) for a bath. He took a lot (really a lot) of beautiful photos of us which we will keep for our memories. We then met up again with Arya who took us to a beautiful spot for lunch. we then returned to the hotel in Seminyak. I would like to recommend the agency that organized the tour but above all our drivers, Arya and Mk were always very helpful and kind.
The drivers are part of the journey and ours were great!

Me and two of my friends opted for the Mount Batur Jeep Tour. We were very timely picked up by Edy and Persuda in a comfortable and spacious car. Both of them are incredibly good company, kind and helpful. They took us to the spot from where we got our open Jeep. Gri was our driver who took us to Mount Batur via the narrow and rough terrains and drove wonderfully. He encouraged us to sit atop the Jeep and take wonderful pictures. He explained the nearby areas. Post this we were taken to the Black lava site and he helped us explore and took creative pictures of the gang. Edy and Persuda took over after this and took us to the Batur natural springs and helped us with the formalities there. The place was fantastic and so soothing after the whole day full of memorable experiences!
I must say that the hospitality has been incredible for us and the Edy, Persuda and Gri were more like friends than just our guides. I'd encourage everyone to book through them and have a lovely experience in Bali :)

Our driver EDY was absolutely amazing. Picked us up with a smile on his face, drove us safely, and offered information. Even offered to take us to additional destinations like a waterfall or temple, because there were clouds on the day we watched the sunrise and he wanted us to have the best day.
Thank you so much EDY!!!

We were supposed to be picked up from the hotel at 3.00 am. However we were ready by 2.30 am and found that the driver is waiting for us from 1.00 am itself. He was sleeping in the car waiting for us. He took us to the base camp from where we got on the Jeep. The Jeep driver was also very good and took us to a great location to watch the sunrise. I could hike up the mountain for some distance while we were waiting for the sun to rise. While we were coming back the driver as a special gesture took us to a site called Black Lava where the black lava is still present without any changes. Altogether it was a wonderful experience.

The tour company was very accommodating of our wishes to start late and miss sunrise. However, there was very little in the way of English tour guiding. Our drivers, both from our hotel and on Mt Batur, spoke little English. We wanted a little background information (e.g. geological background) and not even the questions could be understood. But they were very friendly nonetheless. The lunch and it's setting were amazing!
