- Karendawne0 contributionsWihana Virendra Fastboat, really good experienceWihana Virendra Fastboat. We were so confused who to book our ferry to Gili Trawangan with after reading all the reviews and finally booked the Wihana Virendra. It was a good price, the driver picked us up on time and the boat left on time from Padangbai and arrived early in Gili T. The seats were very comfortable and the staff were well organised and pleasant. On the return we had the same experience and I would recommend this company if you are as confused as we were. We booked 24 hours in advance online and everything was excellent.Written 14 October 2023
- 231stepheno0 contributionsA Must Do, simply brilliantHad an incredible ful day, everything was great from pick up to drop off. It's all done at a relaxed pace and you meet an amazing team. My family loved the cycling tour and we cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you for an amazing dayWritten 18 July 2023
- leonaw3370 contributionsNightmare Avoid!Communication quite poor between the operator and myself very slow response and definitely didn’t understand what I asked as had to repeat constantly. Driver was rude he actually damaged my finger it bled. Vehicle not safe or road worthy no handle to hold on to climb up only at the front. Refund declined will not be using again. Stay away!Written 4 July 2023
- Shuvus0 contributionsAvoid Ganggari fast boatAvoid Ganggari fast boat. We were picked up in a mini-van with no suspension and the doors rattled so much we thought they were goung to burst open. It get worse, we boarded the boat at Padang Bai , it had a capacity of 100 passengers but there were more than 150 people on board. There were no more than 30 life jackets. And on our return a week later , the boat was 3 hours late and we were left boiling in the midday sun.Written 22 June 2023
- Megan K0 contributionsBest ever tourMy daughter and I did the Monkey forest cycling tour. Probably one of the best tours we have ever done. Everything was perfect, from pick up to being dropped back. Wonderful experience and brilliant staff. We were so well looked after and will definitely do it again next time we are in Bali.Written 18 July 2022
- Maeve T0 contributionsIncredible tripMe and my partner had so much fun at this trip! The ATV was amazing, the guide was super helpful and made our experience so enjoyable. Our driver (Delon) was a gentleman, he picked us up from our villa and took us to our two activities. The service was absolutely incredible, I would recommend to anyone coming to Bali.Written 24 May 2022
- Rennyblanc0 contributionsGoodThe trip was super short, no more than 15 min. The boat is not the best but good enough for a short tripWritten 9 November 2020
- sickinbali0 contributionsGreat food with a lovely familyHad a great day from pick up until we were dropped back at our accommodation. The tour itinery was changed to our desires as we had no desire to be bitten by the monkeys again. The water temple with the massive Koi fish was a highlight as well as the coffee plantationWritten 12 August 2019

Visit to the very small local market but always surprising to see how they organize themselves to sell their products. Followed by a quick stop at the coffee plantation. Small but very quickly explains how coffee is harvested and processed. It ends with a tasting and shop. Arriving there, the guide explains how the house which houses more than thirty people is made. Kitchen on the second floor where the view of the forest is magnificent. We get our hands dirty and prepare 9 dishes to create a buffet to enjoy afterwards. Great experience. Go solo and meet nice people by chance from the same country as me. I recommend this basic but enjoyable course to learn more about Balinese cuisine.

First to the market where he explained everything he usually uses with food; then to his cooking studio overlooking the rice fields. He cut and mashed and stirred and fried all the food himself with good help from his wife and daughter. Then it was royally served and eaten; so tasty and fresh! Relaxed atmosphere and wonderfully nice chef and family, highly recommended, small-scale and very personal

The convenience of being able to be picked up from where we were staying was a plus. The experience was well organized and enjoyable as well learning some new cooking skills we went and also saw the product in its natural state at the food market prior to cooking it. The next best part is that you sit down and eat it afterwards .It was plentiful and very tasty.

Overall an enjoyable day. Taxi picked up on time - the trip to the local food market was disappointing, it lasted 5 mins and the market itself had only a few stalls. It was a quick look at different fruit/ veg and that's it. Next was a visit to the Luwak coffee plantation, it was also a short visit but we had the opportunity to try different types of tea and coffee. Then it was time for the cooking class - the team was well organized, with everything set out & ready to go. The group size was just right, with everyone getting involved in different parts of the food prep. The organizers were always there to help and answer questions. There was a good mix of food prepared, from curry to broth to dumplings and it all tasted very good.

Excellent hands-on and fun cooking experience. Trainers were very engaging and made us feel very welcome in their kitchen. The driver collected us and first took us to an agroforestry farm where we were received by a guide who took us around and we sampled different teas and coffees. We then went to a local market, which was a disappointment as we had no guide and there was very little produce on show.

It was a really good experience, we got picked up from our hotel and then went to a local market and on to the cooking class. The host was so nice and helpful and loved to tell us about the different kinds of meals we made. Overall if you want to go to a cooking class this is a good one.

Booked this as a surprise birthday present for my wife. Great experience from the visit to the local market to creating the banana leaf offering to learning the basics of Balinese cooking. A good 2-3 hour experience which ends with you eating the spread you spent time cooking.

the experience was fantastic, in the beginning we went to the market where he explained all the ingredients, then we went to a place where we could taste about 15 local teas and coffees, then we arrived at the place where we cooked about 10 dishes, all fantastic! People are very friendly and explain everything very well! at the end they give you a paper with the recipes so you never forget to make these dishes

Our Host MADE picked us up and took us to his local markets and talked us through local products that are bought and used. We left there and went to the coffee plantation and experienced all the different coffees including the famous Leeuwak Cat coffee... interesting next to MADE pronounced ma de Home where he has set a great cooking class area. He took us through all facets of Balinese food and we made Sate sauce, chicken stock chicken sate marinate tofu curry, mie goreng and nasi goreng and to top it off banana dumplings with coconut. This is an amazing experience we have in the past been to other classes in Ubud but this is the best Highly recommend
