Beautiful places, lots of driving

It was a great trip! We did change the route to switch Crystal Beach to the Angel's Billabong & Broken Beach but in the end we had time for both. Changing the itinerary will cost more because all these places have some entry fee which was 100,000 IDR (~7 USD) for these. Our driver Komang was great and helped with photos as well!
The crowd was not as bad but still a lot of people. Expect it to be HOT on the island (even hotter than Bali) and the roads are indeed bumpy and steep. The speedboat ride isn't comfy especially when you have to sit there in the heat waiting for them to leave. As many suggested before, wear shorts because you will be above knee-high water when you get into the boat. Before getting in the water, put your shoes in your bag because if you give it to the people on the boat, it will end up under 20 other pairs of shoes and it will be all wet and dirty by the time you get it back on the other side.
On the way back, you can pick between two boats and take either the one at 3pm or 5pm. We took the earlier one because did not climb down at any of the beaches (lots of stairs!) so you can easily do all these in 6ish hours, but you will need more if you want to go down to one of them (wouldn't do more than one due to the time limit)

After reading many reviews, I decided to book a 2 day 1 night trip to Nusa Penida with Surya Nusa Penida Tours.

Everything about dealing with this tour company exceeded my expectations from exchanging of emails, answering my questions, trip confirmation, pick up at my hotel and transfers, helping me with my luggage and my tour guide Dede who was amazing!

Unlike other tour guides, Dede accompanied me on every steep climb, helped me with my luggage and ensured I was saw everything safely. Navigating the roads on Nusa Penida can be quite dangerous and I was pleased that Dede was an excellent driver.

To sum up my experience with Surya Nusa Penida Tours - 100% trustworthy to deal with, value for money and the team will look after you to ensure you have an amazing time.

Great tour!

I am so glad to go on this trip. The driver was really very nice and extremely careful while driving around (you don't want a daredevil driving you along the winding roads). And the driver helped to pick out nice spots at these various places and took some really great pictures. I give this tour company a 10/10.

Penida Island Full Tour
Firstly, we were picked up from our hotel and taken to Nusa Dua beach where we jumped on a fast boat to Nusa Penida.

Kadek was there waiting for us and straight away avoided lots of traffic as he had parked in a very good area. Kadek knew exactly where he was going and we felt very safe with him driving on what are some challenging roads.

He knew exactly where the best picture spots were and was a very willing photographer for my wife and I, even climbing a tree to get the best shot!

Best way to see Penida Island in my opinion

Simply Perfect Experience for Couples

I was attended by tour guide Wayan. The entire tour was fine tuned to our enjoyment as Wayan took us to all the photogenic spots on Nusa Penida. He spent a long time taking photos making sure we were happy with what we were paying for. He lined up for us for photos and made sure to get others out of the way. The 4 wheel drive was well airconditioned and comfortable and came with complimentary waters. We visited all the Instagram spots on the island. All in all, it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it to couples, families and any other travellers just wanting a fun stress free day.

Wonderful Trip!!
I can’t recommend this organized trip enough! From beginning to end everyone involved was a pleasure. Our driver was perfectly on time in the morning, very kind and accommodating (bringing us to McDonald’s for breakfast). Our tour guide’s name was Dede and he was such a nice young man, very knowledgeable, polite and kind. He drove very safely and together we all had such a fun time exploring! He is also quite a good photographer and knows all the best spots for Instagram pictures! Did I mention he had perfect English? ... he does!

This trip was a birthday present for my girlfriend and it was a total home run!

Thank you to everyone involved :)

An Exceptional Experience!
Nusa Penida is a beautiful island in of itself, however, our tour operator, Putu Liong, made a great trip even better!

He was very knowledgeable about the island and always looking to make sure my wife and I’s experience on the tour was top notch! He was very patient with us going up and down the steps to the various beaches on the island, volunteered to lug our belongings throughout the trip so we could just relax and enjoy the moment, lined up and showed us where to take the best photos (definitely a plus for my wife), and last but not least, was an exceptional and safe driver.

Putu went above and beyond what great customer service should be!

I would definitely recommend booking a tour with Putu as your guide. He says his English is so-so, but he was easy to understand and always a willing listener.

Dedicated tour operator
From the time of our arrival at Nusa penida till the time of departure our driver and guide Wayan maintained the excellent service quality and showed fullest dedication so that we can have a nice experience in Nusa penida. We had two days tour in Nusa penida covering both east and west. Wayan tried his best to take nice photos of us and showed us around all the places.Thanks Wayan for all your help.

Unmissable!
Nusa Penida is an amazing island! Picked up at 6.15 am and headed for the boat which took us over. Wear shorts as you will have to wade through the water to get to the boat. The guide on the island was great! If you need a good coffee like me about 9am you drive past a great little cafe called poolside cafe 🙂. Beaches are amazing but access is very challenging. Dont even attempt Klingking unless you are fit and agile! But photos from the top are still amazing. Depending how fast you go, can choose the 3pm or 5pm boat back. Fantastic tour, an absolute essential trip to do while in Bali. Dont miss it 🙂

Don’t waste your time

Nusa dua is extremely polluted and strewn with plastic garbage. Also this company’s service was really bad. You will find yourself wading in dirty water to board the boat. You will be barefooted (for your safety so you don’t slip but just the same...) and hoarded into an overcrowded smelly boat with no access to a life jacket. Upon arrival expect to land on a cinder covered dock and met by a kind but non English speaking “guide” and drive narrow hairpin roads up mountains in the smelliest most rundown car with no seatbelts that you have ever been in. Should be 0 stars except the driver seemed very nice.
