- LakersRock0 contributionsGede and the day were amazing!Gede our guide helped this old man the entire way. Nothing was an issue. Tried chili and lemongrass with fresh coconut and it was delicious and activated so many senses in the mouth at once. Of course everything was sourced from nearby trees and bushes! The star are the blue lagoon and waterfalls. They are not to be missed and having a knowledge kind lad like Gede as your guide made it even more special. He grew up there and went to university he is kind bright extremely knowledgeable on the fauna and animals and just a beautiful sole. Plus a photo master. Our best pictures. I would post more but do not want to spoil it for you. He arranges everything. Enjoy. This and tree top are not to miss.Written 19 January 2020

- LakersRock0 contributionsMust Do When In BaliThe waterfalls are spectacular and the walk along the way so wonderful via the houses and rice paddies. Along the way several interesting plants flowers insects and views are so interesting and amazing. Gadi our guide was so nice and knowledgeable. I am old and out of shape and he was there every step to help me via the terrain. If I can do it anyone can. Highly recommend this adventure. It is worth the long ride. They also arranged the transport which was far more economical then our regular driver. The most memorable event of this trip. Contact via WhatsAp. Enjoy.Written 22 February 2019

- Sergio C0 contributionsGreat and funny waterfall visit with GedeIt was a great experience with Gede. He made our tour funny and joyful. The views and the waterfalls are impressive. The tour is 100% recomendable with a local guide.Written 30 September 2018
- Peter B0 contributionsWonderful waterfalls and beautiful natureWe did the long tracking tour on September 28. It was the best Trekking in Bali!! On the first three waterfalls we are the only people. On the way to the next waterfalls we was walking through wonderfull rice terrace with beautiful views arround the landscape. Our guide was funny, friendliy and carried a lot of water and food for us. He showed us local fruits and let us try many of them. Recommend: do the long trip, you will not be disappointed Peter from GermanyWritten 29 September 2018
- chad w0 contributionsAmazing Waterfall Hike and Experience---Long TrekWe were picked up at our hotel in Ubud. The driver was early. it took a few hours to get to area where trek started. We stopped at local store and had a great breakfast. The morning views of mountains were stunning and food was good. We got to Local area for hike and a local guide and friend took us on back of scooter and motorcycle to highest point before we started hike to waterfalls. The hike to top Waterfall was not too difficult. I think the upper waterfalls were very nice and most people miss out because they don't want to do all day hikes. I would recommend this hike if you are in decent shape and can handle it. All the waterfalls were nice and the hike through the local terrain was exceptional with great views overlooking terraced rice fields. The guide was great and helpful. We stopped and visited with some local farmer and had coconuts and I was given chocolate seeds to try. Lunch was overlooking the Valley below and was made and delivered in this location by local person. The food was exceptional. The lower waterfalls is where most people will be at and the slide down into the lower waterfall (Pukek) was amazing if you like adventure. This was a long day of hiking and on your feet and you cover many miles but well worth it. The driver we had was so nice and amazing and stopped at a few locations extra on way back including monkeys next to road. This helped make a amazing day even better. I would highly recommend this venture. To me this was one of best things I did on my trip to Bali.Written 2 August 2018
- Anne R0 contributionsSambangan TrekkingWe had the long trek, which was amazing. So beautiful nature experience, where we also had the chance to see local life, which would not have been possible with the medium or short trek. Gede our guide was so nice and funny, and took amazing photos for us. Highly recommend this tour and take the long trek! Most os the time you trek downwards, which make the trek more easy but a bit hard for the knees. There is a short tour in the beginning with scooter. So is affraid of sitting in the back, then do not take the long trek.Written 29 July 2018
- BusinessOSL0 contributionsTrekking company opening up their local gems to visitorsWe had a great medium trek with Bali Sambungan Trekking today. We had one guide that was very pleasant and helpful. The medium trip is nice, but short in terms of kind of short in terms of walking distance, so I would suggest to pick the long one if you're in it to burn some calories.Written 9 July 2018

We felt very safe and looked after throughout our trek and we ended up doing crazy jumping and slides that we never thought we would do before the trek! It was so much fun and the guide was so friendly! It was a long day as we are staying in seminyak but was a great way to see a different part of this beautiful country! Would recommend to anyoneWritten 20 June 2018
- Olivia T0 contributionsA Highlight of our Bali TripOverall great experience with this company. Spoke with them in advance to ensure that all the activities we wanted to do would be offered and they were patient and attentive in answering all my questions. On the day of the trek, our guide was informative, professional, and make sure that we had a fun, and safe, experience. He went above and beyond to give us a personalized and enjoyable day. The level of care and commitment that the guides have for the environment and the local people that we interacted with was commendable: I cannot speak highly enough about this experience and the staff!Written 31 March 2018

We set off on the tour quite early and thus the places were not crowded which makes us fully enjoy the nature and waterfalls. But at the same time, while the places were still natural, there were very adequate infrastructure with steps, toilets and resting stops. I suggest going with the guides as they truly help us find the right route and our footing in some of the less friendly terrain, which ensures our safety. Not just that, the guides were truly guides in a sense that they went out of their way to introduce the sights, places and culture with quite a good command of English. The experience is truly local! They were very accomodating to our needs and let us enjoy the most of the destination even if that means not going to all the stops but enjoying those that we do stop at.

Kris, the tour guide, was awesome!! He made the trip so fun!!! This was one of the best experiences I had in Bali and would definitely do it again!! Kris’s English and knowledge are top-notch!! I was really able to ask him questions about Balinese culture and learn a lot during this experience!! He was also very safe when it came to the cliff-jumpings!! He was always right there alongside me to make sure the jumps were conducted as safely as possible and it’s amazing to see a young man care so much about his guests!!

Great places to cool off. A good mix of people having fun and lots of people to help. The tour guides ensure that's there is a Flow. Be sure you have on water shoes and can walk stairs. Very nice restaurant across the street from the entry.

Highlight of our trip - unforgettable, unique and authentic. Git-Git waterfalls were spectacular and our guide Putu made this day the experience of a lifetime for us. He was punctual, professional and passionate in guiding us on the day. We were collected from our resort at 6am and returned exhausted but exhilarated at 6.30pm. We visited a temple, passed through a monkey forest, visited the hot springs and spent the majority of our day soaking up the natural wonder and magnificence of the waterfall. This also included jumping into the water from above and riding down the waterfall as if it were a giant slide... As I mentioned earlier, unforgettable! Putu provided us with all the knowledge and care possible, allowing us the pleasure and privelege of meeting his family at his nearby home after our waterfall experience. I would recommend this to anyone, but would also add that you do need a reasonable level of fitness to descend the rocky steps and paths to the waterfall. This experience was definitely worth every cent and more and next time in Bali We will definitely be calling upon Putu again - great service!!!

My dream came true of jumping off the waterfalls! 😍 It was Quite scary at first because in feb, it's considered winter in Bali, so the waterfalls tend to be bigger and fiercer, but none the less, it is still safe to jump and slide! And all because of the very experience guides the village has! They would instruct you on wear to jump, and how to position your hands and legs while sliding and jumping off! Very fun interaction with them too! The walk to the waterfalls consist of rice paddy field sceneries as well.. a sight that you can never find in a cosmopolitan country like Singapore. It really isn't for the faint hearted as the climb there is quite challenging! But The experience is worth every ache in my legs now! I am definitely coming back during the summer period where the water is more blue and less fierce! And special thanks to my guide Gede, for being so friendly and answering all our doubts! 🙏🏻😌

Had a fantastic time at the waterfall. The tour service was great. My tour guide was a nice local by the name of Gede. I was amazed by the beauty of the various waterfalls and by the numerous adventures the waterfalls had to provided. I was able to slide down a long waterfall and jump down several others. I have some incredible photos from the experience.

We had a great day out with our cheerful and professional guide Gede exploring the Aling Aling waterfalls and surrounding countryside. Starting of at spectacular rice terraces at the top of the valley we walked down through clove/cacao plantations, stopped off for a fresh coconut drink with a few of the locals and then continued on to the spectacular waterfalls where we had the opportunity to 'slide and jump' to our hearts content before a great lunch and the final trek back to our driver. I would really recommend this day trip to anyone visiting Bali who wants to see the spectacular countryside close up. We felt really close to nature and was one of the highlights of our trip!

Douglas Putu picket the four of us up in new clean minibus, stopped anywhere we wanted on the way so we could purchase a memory card for the camera, Bintang beer and snacks. He is very funny and shared many stories about the culture and points of interest along the way to the waterfalls. We did not feel like tourist getting this private tour. Walking through a rice field in to the paradise like tropical forest to the falls. Douglas took many beautiful pictures of us with our cameras all afternoon. He showed us how to slide and jump the waterfalls safely. It was the best day in Bali, no rush something everybody should experience!!!

This had to be the best experience I had when I visited Bali. We were met bright and early in the morning by our tour guide Douglass, who was the friendliest, most knowledgable and helpful guy you could imagine and he geared us up for a great adventure from the word go!
We started trekking through rice paddy fields, seeing some of the locals working on the field and who were more than happy to have a photo taken with us, it was great to see what everyday life is like for them in contrast to our own lives.
The waterfalls that we were then taken to were breathtaking. You get the chance to slide down one, which is an amazing experience and also jump into another, so much fun!
The trip was rounded off by some barbecued chicken and bintang by the waterfall!
It was a great experience and I would recommend this to anyone who visits Bali. Douglas made the trip a very memorable one and I can't wait to do it all over again on my next visit !!!

I really enjoy this little trekking time visiting the wonderful blue lagoon, jumping and swimming in to the little lake, sliding along the rocks and visiting the Aling Aling waterfall. To go there you need walking through the beautiful nature of rise paddies and forest. At the end of the tour they offered me a tasting fresh coconut. Special thanks to my nice and patient guide Agus! 🙏🤙
